The Analog and Digital Worlds usually stay apart, and even when they do begin to intersect it's usual in the form of a inbetween realm.
That is no longer true. In certain places, the Digital and Analog worlds will fully intersect, allowing for free and easy travel for any Digimon who wishes to see what a Human tastes like.
Oh, and too many could cause a full merge of the two worlds.
[Zones known as Thresholds will appear, places where the Digital and Analog worlds will truly intersect, slowly expanding. While they are very useful if one needs to cross back and forth quickly, too many existing at once will cause the worlds to merge. Best to seal as many as you can.]

The Heart, a source of energy and power for Digidestined and their partners. It's a wondrous, magical thing.
For those who have too much emotion without a partner? It is a tragedy waiting to happen. It is more likely to happen to those who have negative emotions, and heaven forbid a meltdown, but the result is all the same.
A monster is born, a fusion of Analog and Digital Matter.
