..oh, it's an Akemi. Surely the MGs are not Contracted or anything to a small pink demon, no? :V

-Attempt to find either the Rider or Magical Girl Secret Societies, or if that falls through, the local MGs/Riders.
-Get an introduction to a good chunk of the side characters for this story.

We need to try and learn from more experienced riders before we try and take on an actual organization. We had trouble against the regular grunts, we probably die if we started hunting them and they brought out an actual powerful enemy.

Edit: or if we met up with a rider or magical girl who didn't agree with us killing and tries to stop us.
 
And so begins our new adventure filled with laughs, tears, trauma, over the top friendship speeches, evil organizations and explosions... sooooo many explosions. Great job MrKermie, may this quest prosper and may your arm and hands find rest! We are eager to see how Rei carrer as a Rider and Akemis future as a dark MaGi grows.... as for the vote:

Better for both our mental health and career if we find our counterpart + Mentor. And hey, whos saying Akemi isnt currently going through something similar.... also I wonder what her magical girl astetick is gonna be... is it also going to be Duel monster related or something else?

If A. I wonder what monster would fit a dark MaGi... Dark Magician? Shaddol? Nekroz or TellarKnights (Duel terminal is such a mess..)could maybe fit.... or maybe Ice barrier (literal ice girl), charmer, altergeist, Fortune Lady? Witchcrafter or Endymion... Unchained? (Im almost done sorry).

Or maybe.... Ritual beast or.... worst of all.... Snake eyes Diabellstar (tell me popler doesnt look like a evil mascot) (This one probably is best left as a Endgame power up) (Honestly wouldnt even be surprised if the QM outright strangles this suggestion, its THAT bad.... in the not fun op way, to any non DM fans)

B..... who the hell knows MaGi have so many types you could narrow it down to a single atribute and it would STILL have options. Example:
Time MaGI what would you give her? Speed up or slow down? Freeze time? Time reversion? Desintagration via aging? Maybe go the Soul eater medusa route and have her shoot clock hands like spears or arrows...

... i think i wasted enough of everyones time with this little rant... sorry!
 
I'm having a weird thought and I'm imagining a Kamen Rider who's transformations are related to Digimon and their different stages of evolution. Like a dark Kamen Rider related to guilmon with his various armors being all of guilmon's main evolutions with his final form being an armor version of megidramon.

*Ahem* Digimon fromtier IS a thing you know.... closest thing to Kamen Rider Digimon.... you know not counting the literal Kamen rider digimons aka Justymon and the Thunder acient spirit Beetlemon.

Edit: Duskmon, Lobomon and Susannomon armors would be dope ngl

I have plans for Dia, don't worry. Besides, meta relevance won't be related to power levels in story for Duel Spirits.

I mean, I've never even seen anybody play Atry, but you were already kicking butt on a shitty plan that was mostly meant to showcase your arsenal, not actually finish the fight as quickly as possible.

1. ... Probably? Who knows what goes through that designs team collective subconious, and really a LOT of mega level digimon would make awesome rider armors. Probably even more than Yugioh. Even if we use the most basic and known megas like Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon, Impieldramon, the Royal Knights, the Demon Lords or the Olympos XII; etc..... actually im surprised there hasnt been a Sentai quest in here that uses Digimon or Megaman (any itiration) inspired armors... it would be really fitting....

2. Good to know that meta relevance doesnt matter, I await whatever craziness you will write with anticipation.

Unfortunately for them, Rei bought and has now broken a burner phone, so she'll be hidden for a while.

Here's a math question for everybody: what's quicker?
1. Rei's speed of running from her problems.
2. Mai's speed of running towards her employees.

In a "real" world? The Ex assasins runs faster.
In a anime world. The friend absolutely tackles the traumatized/idiot hero friend and gives them a frienship speech/slaps some sense into them. Also rule of funny, and Rei is both the butt of the joke and the Straight woman.

We have that it's our ever reliable Senpai and friend Fourze
Also since he's canonically a teacher After High School he should totally be our teacher never mention he's also a kamen rider but you know he somehow implies it with advice that somehow in very helpful for that

Since we decided to be friends with our counterpart, I think it is best we put in the effort to find them. While contact with other heroes and the society that backs them up would be good, we work better with our partner rather than with another hero, so they would be more preferable as a companion.
