The Treaty Itself
To have treated with the Humans is no shame in and of itself. They after all came to you to present an offer as honorable adversaries, according to traditions established during the greatest of wars, However to accept a treaty which is in any way a detriment to yourself, to place one into a position of power within your dynasty itself. This will not play well in the eyes of the other dynasties. Who could see an opportunity to bring down a rival, or who are merely ignorant of the facts on the ground. You do however have an opportunity to hide the fact that such a deal was done. It would be difficult with Imperial ships orbiting above, but it could nevertheless be attempted.

[ ] Inform the dynasty's of your arrangement and let them respond as they may. There will after all be those who care a great deal, and those who while maintaining an affronted façade. Will not care whatsoever, so long as it does not affect your dealings with them.
The dynasties will respond to your deal immediately and in full

[ ] Acknowledge that a deal exists, but attempt to hide the extent of your more embarrassing offers.
The dynasties will respond to an altered idea of your deal immediately

[ ] Act according to the spirit of the treaty

[ ] The Cardinal shall position himself in a most vulnerable location at the center of your realm. Infect him with mindshackle scarabs, to twist his mind and his motives to your whim.
DC 25 with the Varguards modifier on first implementation for discovery
DC 5 roll with no modifyers every 5 years for discovery

Support and maintenance (includes "military access")
The forces of the Imperium shall dock at and receive support from your worlds. This will surely be used both as an intimidation tactic and as a method to gather information in regards to your future plans. How may you use this?

[ ] Hold to your dealings and act according to the treaty.

The Imperium may pay for the right to field your fleets
The Imperium will come to you when a need arises that you could potentially be able to deal with a threat that they feel they cannot, for one reason or another. The imperium may pay for the service of artificers. Cannot be taken with (The imperium may requisition small quantities of artifice.)
You have given the imperials access to the works of the crypteks. Extreme anti tampering precautions will already be added to the device so that they suffer calamitous failure at any attempt of replication, of which you have made the imperium well aware. However, are there any further limitations you shall add that the Imperium will be less cognizant of. (You probably can't get away with limiting how long they will work for. One of the reasons the Inquisition is interested is that they know the devices will last as long or longer than an imperial relic will)

[ ] Act according to the spirit of the treaty

The Imperium may pay for the services of a cryptek
You will be supplied scavenged technology that the Imperium possesses. Either from humanity's own past or some other alien that they have come across. In turn, one of your crypteks shall investigate whatever device or schematics they have presented. Teaching them how to duplicate the device. Or if it is merely a single immovable object, repairing it.

A vast cloning operation is put in place for the imperium
You are going to be supplying a vast quantity of clone troopers to the imperium. As skilled as a veteran of a dozen campaigns, crafted with the body of a human with the peak abilities of what is naturally possible. Finally, provided with the tactics, insight and weaponry of a crack stormtrooper, with the obedience to match. These will be feared foes indeed on the battlefield.

[ ] Act according to the spirit of the treaty

[ ] Insert a subconscious trigger to turn on their brethren
You will be implanting these humans with the knowledge and obedience needed to face down Ork wagghs, human insurrections and alien assaults without flinching. It is also quite easy for you to introduce a subliminal message to your soldiers which will, if it is delivered in the correct fashion, turn these clones against their handlers.

On the nature of foresight
Location: Unknown
Date : Unknown

Within the vastness of space even the most massive, most gargantuan of constructs seem miniscule when cast against the black of the void. Such is it for the ship which glides between systems in the inky blackness. Lit aglow with dozens, hundreds of seemingly tiny crystalline domes which dot its surface, each a marvel, the working of entire generations. Each when the true size of the vessel is appreciated, home to a sparkling, sprawling city, through which their millions of inhabitants perform their ancient crafts with a vigor even an astartes could respect.

One of these domes however is not aglow with the light of a thousand towers. Instead, it is home to a tamed garden of hundreds, perhaps thousands of crystalline statues, surrounded by the gently swaying ancient trees and flora of homeworlds long ago damned and forgotten. It is here among this near silent forest, where hundreds of seers have foreseen and eventually accepted their fate, that the sole still fully living being within this chamber does her work.

Dozens of runes spiral, twisting and turning here in accordance to the dance of gestures and half heard, half felt syllables uttered by the figure at the center of the ritual. To the untalented observer, the practitioner simply seems to be performing an intricate ballet, requiring control and precision incomprehensible to lesser races. The movements showing both the stength and control of a martial artist, the analytical precision of a mathematician and finally, the artistry and flair of a master artist. But to those who can see beyond the veil of reality. She instead, with a force of will rivalling warlords and tyrants, stills the writhing energies of the warp around her, halting its turbulent energies, and thrusting a spear gathered force against this pane of stilled possibility. twisting and fracturing it into a dozen, a hundred, a thousand, near infinite possibilities of the will be, the could be and the never shall.

The futures she sees however, slowly begin to fade from view as the dance turns from hours into days. The future turning and twisting as she watches to see if her plans, a decade and a half in the making, shall bear fruit or wither upon the vine. Within the fractal energies before her, particle whips exchange fire with macrocannon shells. In some, the blind man is king and steals the call of fear itself from its forger. In others the golden eagle flees, to call the remainder of its flock. In others, the silence is made absolute as the beast captured within mortal hearts is released in its millions among stilled silver coffins.

Yet the dance continues and these futures of fire and darkness among the void are one by one, forced to fade from view by the actions of the now has been. The probabilities shift as decisions are made, secrets revealed and questions asked. within the fractals, the lords of the now march to the king of the once, and the perhaps again. Again the chances for conflict are near infinite. Here the savant and the arbiter of light and dark duel, leading to the fires of annihilation. Here, secrets ancient and newborn are uttered, the death of comradery sparking thoughts of betrayal and battle. Here the silver scion upon his throne gestures but once, and the blades hidden under earth pierce the highest servant. She watches with growing concern, a tiny frown appearing on her perfect features as even these futures are erased by the here and now. Until at last. The two thrones, gold and silver bow to each other. Though both clutch daggers behind their backs.

With a sigh of irrepressible anguish, the dance stops as she completes the rites of ending. Runes, red hot falling slowly to the ground, burning the grass as they lay within the forest of seers. A single tear falls from her eye as she accepts what she has seen. What next will be required of her and her people. Eventually, her heart having stilled, she rises from her crouch. The Eagle it seems would not fulfil the task of Asuyan's chosen. It was a fool's hope to think that a single silenced Ork and a few scattered secrets would end a tomb, but her people needed a thousand such hopes if they were to escape the twilight of their race. A shame then that this could not be one of them. No this fell task would require Eldar blood to be spilled. The only question that remained was, how much?

I really should have gone to bed, but off the top, I don't know about how effectively we could hide the deal, mindshackle the cardinal and insert the spy (effective DC of 6 & 21 after modifiers), either play it straight or shackle the captains only, no bombs, ad hoc for everything, and no order 66; the chance of getting caught is low, but we know full well these guys will never be in a position of power. They're basically fancy penal legionnaires, higher-end disposable killers. I don't see the gain.

Also, eat shit Eldar.

The rolls would be made each turn individual of each other. They are not summed together

With the clones:
Instead of having a turn-on-their-fellows directive, what about having them default to Necron command in absence of Imperial officers?

In general, wait a decade before we start trying to screw the Imperials. Look like honest brokers, let their attention wander and the DCs drop (hopefully).

I think we need to prioritise. If we really want a meaningful peace then we are only going to get away with being sneaky around one or two of these things.

Whatever we do we should probably take at least 20 years before we let loose our saboteurs and mind scarabs. Our longevity is our advantage.

We can always send spies out later, best to focus on the giving a order 66, mindshackling the captains and the cardinal. Senior officers would be good too, but this is a check for every turn.

The Eldar werent something i was expecting, we should be cautious about it just in case they try to do anything to sabotage our agreement
Maybe we can also research their spirit stones, see what we discover (Perhaps the means to replicate them to get the Eldar off our ass)

As for our current predicament, we should honour the terms of the agreement (Sneak in a few minor things here and there, nothing treaty breaking like making the clone soldiers able to rebel or something like that)

Ultimately it all depends on if the Imperium is also willing to play fair with the treaty, if they do? Great! We'll honour the pact as well

After a single turn, possibly two. Gives us time for the Imperial fleet to disperse and us to gather our strength.

The real question for our most esteemed royal court is if we want to even maintain this peace for longer than a few turns. If we do the only realy big thing we should do is mindshakle the council member and maybe aim for captains. If we don't even plan on keeping our word we might loose alot of respect but we could gain alot by going almost all in.

Uh, I don't think we're talking something like sabotage:

We're getting a Craftworld Bitchslap. The Eldar know we exist, know we're awake, sent the Orks to lure the Imperium to us, and hoped they would be able to drown us in numbers, or one of our allies within the Dynasty would stab us in the back.

But no. Now the Eldar have to do it themselves.

*Sigh* Eldar, always shooting themselves in the foot
We probably would've just let them be if they didnt mess with our stuff while we were sleeping, but once again the Eldar prove that being able to predict the future is not what its cracked up to be (How many of these omens and predictions of doom have been caused by a farseer trying to prevent them?)

I mean, we are going to take over the galaxy and really fuck over their main shield against Chaos. Plus the last time we were awake we did kinda genocide the entire galaxy and a whole lot of their people.

It's one of those things where the other person is being very annoying, but you understand where they come from, so you're just being insufferably polite about all the death rays you're firing at them. :V

The fucking over of course has many forms, some harder than others. Personally I don't care about taking over the whole galaxy, just making our Dynasty thrive (which does require some more territory than what we started with, tbf).

As for what to do with the Eldar... on the one hand I would rather avoid going toe-to-toe with a Craftworld but on the other hand there will inevitably be five layers of dickery to deal with if/when we try for some manner of diplomacy.

I am really scared of those flat checks every turn. Yes the DCs are low but having 2 checks per turn and 2 checks every 5 years exponentially increases the chance of discovery, which could in turn make our deal go under too quickly for us to gain enough benefit to handle fighting the Imperium again.
