The dynasties will respond to your deal immediately and in full
-[X] The Cardinal shall position himself in a most vulnerable location at the center of your realm. Infect him with mindshackle scarabs, to twist his mind and his motives to your whim.
DC 25 with the Varguards modifier on first implementation for discovery
DC 5 roll with no modifyers every 5 years for discovery
--[X] how soon do you act?
After/During our next turn, where we will have access to the Seer for a reroll (and where we might add our own attention to said project)
-[X] The Ministorum will with near absolute certainty, use their access to your realm to implant spies amongst you people. However, transit goes both ways. Try to emplace a spy or spies among the wider Imperium
dc 40 roll with your Varguards modifiers to sneak a spy into the sectors beauracracy
--[X] how soon do you act?
After/During our next turn, where we will have access to the Seer for a reroll (and where we might add our own attention to said project)
-[X]Support and maintenance (includes "military access")
The forces of the Imperium shall dock at and receive support from your worlds. This will surely be used both as an intimidation tactic and as a method to gather information in regards to your future plans. How may you use this?
--[X] Only Mindshackle the captains. Still very risky, but considerably less so than going all out
DC 5 roll with no modifiers for discovery
-[X]The Imperium may pay for the right to field your fleets
The Imperium will come to you when a need arises that you could potentially be able to deal with a threat that they feel they cannot, for one reason or another. You will name the price and ultimately whether or not you accept the deal. Are there any more surreptitious tasks you will perform while on these voyages.
--[X] Deal with this on an ad-hoc basis
-[X]The Imperium may pay for the services of a cryptek
You will be supplied scavenged technology that the Imperium possesses. Either from humanity's own past or some other alien that they have come across. In turn, one of your crypteks shall investigate whatever device or schematics they have presented. Teaching them how to duplicate the device. Or if it is merely a single immovable object, repairing it.
--[X] Deal with this on an ad-hoc basis
-[X]The imperium may pay for the service of artificers. Cannot be taken with (The imperium may requisition small quantities of artifice.)
You have given the imperials access to the works of the crypteks. Extreme anti tampering precautions will already be added to the device so that they suffer calamitous failure at any attempt of replication, of which you have made the imperium well aware. However, are there any further limitations you shall add that the Imperium will be less cognizant of. (You probably can't get away with limiting how long they will work for. One of the reasons the Inquisition is interested is that they know the devices will last as long or longer than an imperial relic will)
--[X] Deal with this on an ad-hoc basis
-[X]A vast cloning operation is put in place for the imperium
You are going to be supplying a vast quantity of clone troopers to the imperium. As skilled as a veteran of a dozen campaigns, crafted with the body of a human with the peak abilities of what is naturally possible. Finally, provided with the tactics, insight and weaponry of a crack stormtrooper, with the obedience to match. These will be feared foes indeed on the battlefield.
--[X] Act according to the spirit of the treaty

Yes, I know 2 continuous 5dcs, but their almost essential for our longer term goals. Eventually, we must turn on the Imperium before they destroy us for expanding to rapidly. To prepare for such a day, we need that sow the seeds to crippling their fleets. This vote essentially hedges our bets and puts us towards a path of war (again) against the Imperium within a period of a century or so.

Do we know how long turns are meant to be from now on? I definitely remember talk of them going up in length once the war was over?

To ease the burden on administration the turns will continue to last 1 year until the 25th year of the restoration. After that we will move to 5 year terms
So does that mean after tear 25, these yearly checks will still remain that way? 5 individual checks each or will the DCs all just add up to make one roll per 5 years?

The checks are already once every 5 years unless I mistakenly changed one

In which case yes all checks are every 5 years

So in future, the checks will be made mid-turn

@Azurath mindshackleing the captain's will be a per turn roll. I seem to have missed that. Though I presume that doesn't alter your plan

It does not. And considering how that's phrased, I'm presuming that the Imperium will be cycling a lot of new ships our way?

Depends on demand. It should ebb and flow with time and battles. Sometimes captain's will avoid your yards especially in times of peace and low demand.

Other times they may desperately need rapid repair done. The dc of 5 represents the average

Hm, this feels wrong to me, i'd rather not backstab an Imperium that is at very high strength before the 13th crusade, for no other reason than because i fear that we might not be able to do enough damage to them fast enough

We have the element of suprise/subtlety and we're also functionally immortal, we can afford to wait a while and see what happens

Problem is that Imperium is almost certain to stab us in the back if we Don't do it first.
We just need to not do it before we are ready, but also not after they are.

While I support this very much the only problem is we might take a massive respect hit if we do eventually betray the imperium. Not even to mention the mind shackles.

Doubtful as the treaty was never meant to be an eternal one, nor was it asking for fealty from any one side. Merely a treaty agreed upon by two polities that can be broken by either at anytime. Though we are going to have to hide the Scarabs if we want to avoid the major scandal.

I still feel like this is a risky gambit that we're doing for little reward, iirc we lost respect from proposing the agreement we have now
Imagine what'd happen if word got out that immediately after we agreed On honourable Necrontyr Terms no less to the treaty proposed, we stabbed them in the back. Best case scenario we lose alot of respect from the other dynasties as they'll now view us as untrustworthy backstabbers and absolute worst case scenario is that we'd be monumentally screwed and dragged into attrition with the Imperium

And iirc Mephet'ran/The Deceiver didn't instantaneously betray the Necrontyr, it was a gradual process that required someone predicting the future to such an accurate degree that they could see the Horus Heresy 60 million years before it happens to suspect that something was off about the c'tan

Slow and steady guys, slow and steady

Support and maintenance (includes "military access")

[X] Act according to the spirit of the treaty

This way we can get the Imperium to lower their guard around us so we can deliver an even more crippling blow to them

seeming that there is a new contender for the vote and I'm too busy tonight to write an update, ill close the vote in 24 hours

@Lonkas What about us providing clone troops exclusively for use of organizations like Inquisition or assassinorum? I'm sure all of them could use disposable but still elite troops that are unquestionably obedient.

Or providing knowledge on how to combat other threats? We literally have the longest lived and experienced personnel in the galaxy as Necrons. Competence is questionable, but not breadth of knowledge. So, something like advisor positions, for inquisitors and stuff? At the very least I'm sure that we can share a few tips on how to fight Orks or Eldar that humans might not know.
Golum should also update his story on Nomad the doombringer.
