Quite awhile, especially in IRL terms. Your economy has to be pretty BS to take losing over half a task force. We chose, by Necron terms, something of a backwater. Less chance the guy who screwed us decides he can rule again, less connection with the larger economy.

Honestly, he did alright. Its just that he failed a roll where it mattered, then critfailed for last chance.
I agree but he nonetheless needs to take this loss as a lesson and get better. In the long run it might be better for him to know some humility.
