@Randomnerd, thank you for the idea.

[] Crossing the ocean with John Manley's fleet, sailing around Nova Scotia, and landing east of Quebec City.

I say go big and go home, to be honest.

[] Travel through Iroquois territory, traveling alongside Lee's Detachment.

This is i think the best option for conventional tactics and long term strategy.

We would reach our objective from an unexpected angle and support another expedition along the way, and be able to influence the events there.

We could also manage to pickup some native troops along the way, or loot equipment from the British and their native allies.

This is THE choice.

If we want to keep Halbert as the daring madman that he is.

HUBRIS IS A COWARD WORD!

[] Follow Montgomery's route via Lake George and Lake Champlain.
The safe, conservative option. Montgomery has it the worst, therefore going to him first should be a priority.
[] Follow Arnold's route through Maine.
Tempting, but too risky, since the British are already here and we will lead an army armed with pitchforks for the most part.
[] Travel through Iroquois territory, traveling alongside Lee's Detachment.
Second best thing. Longer and not without risk, but we will have safety in numbers, so long as we don't have to siege forts.

Because invading via ocean, where the mightest naval force on the planet has a major presence is a truly spendid idea.

I prefer the conservative option. Seems the safest for what we bring to the table.

[X] Follow Montgomery's route via Lake George and Lake Champlain.

Sailing through the sea is just too risky, and although it would be a very funny meme Arnold and Montgonery fate's depends on us.

Edit: Also, I believe that Montgomery fate is the one that really hang in the balance?

If things get desperate, we can try backwards long jumping past the British

DID SOMEONE SAY WE'RE GONNA BE MARINES?
OOORAAAHHHH!

Let's joke on the British Navy again.

Simply because if we CAN pull off this Mad John moment, we would make EVERYONE wonder WHERE THE FUCK he came from.

Sanity, just more sanity.

The sea is idiotic and frankly I think people are just going for it because it's the "audacious" option.
