Omake: The Dot Hunt Training
"Now Madoka, this is a how you train to hunt. Focus, follow, pounce and capture!" Amura telepathically lectured her student.
"OK", Madoka enthusiastically replayed her tail's tip twitching nervously.
"Now Blue girl!" Amura commanded their underling.
Sayaka rolled her eyes but aimed the laser pointer in front of the ridiculously cute Madoka-kitten. Because Amura persisted on Madoka being better trained as hunter before even thinking about taking her with her and Mami to hunt Witches the girl asked her cat about some training. She refused to practice on squirrels though so Amura came with an alternative.
Sayaka activated the pointer and both kittens, fascinated with the Dot, like Amura called it, hunched down. Because this was meant to be Madoka's training, Amura focused her will to not pounce the Dot herself, overcoming her instincts. She keenly observed her enthusiastic student when Madoka pounced the dancing light. 'She is pretty good for beginner,' Amura thought observing with pride the pink kitten attacking the elusive Dot.
Sayaka then upped the ante by guiding the light on sofa and the wall. Madoka pounced and going through the doors curtain she mewed in alarm.
"That's OK Pink girl Madoka. Happened to me numerous times too," reassured Amura her student while Sayaka asked her kitten friend: "Are you OK, Madoka?"
"Mewww ..." Madoka sounded somewhere from the kitchen. "Where the Dot went?" she asked her kitten teacher confused while trying to disentangle herself from the fallen door's curtain.
"You are doing good," Amura cheered her pink girl slash kitten. "You will graduate to catching the crickets soon!"
