I see we found out how Alexandria was able to fly!!! Stupid Shard gonna Stupid.
Curiosity SAVED the cat!Curiosity had gotten to her, and she'd not disconnected the cat.
No, we didn't. We had no idea that the connection from the snark to her passed through a gravity manipulation component. We've known how she does it. The shard didn't know, so apparently had subsumed dangerous amounts of her brain in an effort to figure it out.
No, we didn't. We had no idea that the connection from the snark to her passed through a gravity manipulation component.
It was mentioned, but under a spoiler. Before people start getting too excited about certain things:
Her connection is a little screwy and her snark doesn't realize that it is, in fact, what allows her to fly. In particular, it doesn't realize that when she focuses the right way she's offloading gravity down the connection.
Curiosity had gotten to her, and she'd not disconnected the cat. Its use of its partner to frequently escape and give others hell when they chased it was actually generating more data than expected.
Oh good, so I wasn't the only one who thought that!
Oh, hello Rebecca. The one remaining connection was, however, quite oddly formed, and the shard had subsumed far too much of the host's thought processes to be safe. Apparently without trying to take over, just wanting to understand what the host was doing, because the shard stupidly discounted that the host connection was passing through a gravity offloading component.
I can totally see Zion with a Snidely Whiplash mustache as he moves the moons into place.Helvetia sighed as she sat there, taking a break. Mostly she was waiting for the already queued up deployments to occur so that she could get to the next layer in, but things were slightly delayed due to a higher-priority task involving several moons being shifted. Why they were being shifted hadn't been distributed, just that they were and deployments were being slowed down so as to not interfere with the process.
Well of course he would move them out of the line of fire. This isn't Canon Zion after all. This was after the deployment shards were all suddenly tasked with moving several shards out of a specific instance of the star system. Something big was going on, and she had no clue what it was. Just that high-level orders that she couldn't override were involved. Granted, she could still do some work despite the layer of undeployed shards that were in the way, but she had directives to physically examine each shard anyway and thus it made more sense to just wait for the surface layer to be cleared away.
Basicly Alexandria is Falling With Style.
Genesis of the Travellers. Amy and/or Taylor fixed her legs and gave her powers a few extra ideas IIRCSo has Jess been mentioned before?
Edit also all this time there was a perfectly normal explanation for alexandria's flight after all
I think there is actually a ficca over on fimfic where this happened - one of the conversion stories I think...Having Princess Celestia, or one of the pony powers, show up to save the Worm Universe by turning everyone into ponies and having all the new ponies go WTF
Possibly the only time Maul has been able to give someone the bird and be thanked for it - and they almost LOSE it?
To be frank, a Pint of water can be lethal if given the right situation - I wonder if anyone told her about high-pressure micro stream surgery yet?
"The same thing we do every afternoon maul - confuse the starch out of the world"
Yowwch, that could have gone really bad. the really scary thing though? Child Zombies."I'm fairly certain that it was the last time the PRT approved testing of something like that in a Children's hospital. The only good thing was that they couldn't open the morgue doors."
they dragged in a woman who'd apparently been left for dead in a dumpster a few blocks over.
Wait, did Bonesaw just almost Kill the President? That's gotta be worth more points the a capist Pope..the President started to have complications from a replacement kidney.
King Gidora? (i'd call him Kaiser Gidora, but max might sue...)So, who has enough information about Lung to design a second trigger for him?
Though that did leave him with a question. "Do you still plan on going by Glaistig Uaine?"
Ciara blinked. "Er. I hadn't actually decided, but given the drastic shift in my faerie it may be best to take on a new name."
"Works for me," Taylor agreed. "Eric will just have to deal with not having chocolate chip cookies."
No they don't. It's all Lies, Damn Lies, and Gods Damn Lies. Oh, with a sprinkle of Betrayal on top.
That is exactly what Alexandria's Snark told Taylor when asked (except the bit about Arthur Dent).Or in other words, she pulled an Arthur Dent. She learned how to fall, and miss the ground.
There's also ladybird by rhjunior hosted in a at two places (here included) which might be headed that wayI think there is actually a ficca over on fimfic where this happened - one of the conversion stories I think...
However, the idea of line-elements as a matrix of connections being the relevant aspect of reality, as opposed to the 'objects' connected, or outlined by such, has some merit. Particularly in some of the more recent attempts to unify quantum mechanics and relativity.
Did I mention that I may not know what I'm talking about?
Okay if the tora reference is for a fanfic version of Tora/Naruto, I humbly request a link of such, because it sounds hilarious.
I thought that too.My first thought was that it's a Heinlein reference....
Now I feel old.
What is Rin supposed to describe anyways? Rin Tohsaka? My name is Rin, the other names I'm known by are either impossible for you to pronounce or not properly descriptive of my human personality.
I despise you. I hope you know that.shard stupidly discounted that the host connection was passing through a gravity offloading component
I agree

Can anyone confirm? My sister's the one with the baking experience, but she's not home to ask.
MLG Pro Scion. "And it's a trick shot!"
