-[X] Create Infrastructure: The lifeblood of any nation. While you are confident that barring a massive battle what you have won't decay, you need to invest to improve what is there (potential decrease due to sudden expansion). -1500 credits.
-[X] Establish Police: Well you certainly made the right call with this one, but you are going to need to get it even beefier if you want to keep unwanted eyes away. -1200 credits.
-[X] System Defences: You have them now, but if anything, the recent attack proves you can never have enough of them. -1200 credits
-[X] Building Medium: Now you can service pretty much any ship barring the largest monsters, but now you need to go bigger. You need to be able to actually build components for the medium range vessels. Well, easier said than done considering the number of components that still need to be manufactured elsewhere, but it's doable. -3500 credits.
Get the ships up to date to buff the fleet and get some more defense stations. Increase shipyard capacity/capability to support a larger fleet (helium extraction should also be put higher up on the list). Make sure that our voice is well represented in both political bodies that matter. Yes it sucks to eat up two actions that way but this is big and we want as much influence over the decision making process as we can. We are getting a miniturn type deal to handle that. Finally police over military, we need to sweep out internal threats and keep them out and so far our police force has been pulling double duty as counterintelligence. We are going to be getting a lot of people moving in and will be needing to be spending a lot, so infrastructure and decreasing maintenance will be very useful.
EDIT: This uses most of our savings but our maintenance will be decreasing and with the shipyard upgrade we can start getting orders for ships providing a significant boost to how much that brings in. In addition, while it isn't necessary this turn, going into debt to finance the next couple of turns might be a good idea.
