Ah... well good thing we just became a major enzo exporter and have our own gun factor on the ground because I have a feeling we're going to be a fairly large target to the Batarians both because I'm sure they suspect us of "stealing" their slaves and because of our now very large strategic and economical value... granted if they make a move on us they also risk declaring war on the council as well.

nothing this was the canon mindor event that rolled better for the Batarians which I then rolled to see if they brought any dreadnoughts which they critted which I rolled to see how many. And then for the first land phase the Batarians rolled a 14 The colonists rolled a 87 and Zaeed rolled a 99. Which completely gutted the first landing wave.

... How the hell did they planet crack Mindoro? Pretty sure that's not something Council level Tech can do in ME. Unless you start throwing seriously large asteroids around which would take a lot more time to organise...
Also, sounds like the Council might be involving themselves in this war because the Bavarians just broke a hell of a lot of treaties with that...

Oh yes the council is PISSED Mindor was a habitual world but wasn't a garden world.
a. The council is sending fleets to guard Alliance territory so that they can gather their full strength
b. The Spectere's are off the leash and told to wreck havoc in batarian space & The Alliance is getting information from the STG. This gets bonuses and maluses in the conflict after the first month.
c. All batarian products are embargoed throughout Council space
d. In the event somehow the Alliance loses completely Perkwunos will be transfered to the Council.

The 4th fleet is being drawn away and including the specific council fleet there are always 3 council fleets in system. The Council has made it pointedly clear if a Batarian fleets enters the system the Council will declare war. The council likes the eezo it's getting cheaply. Also there is a fleet in orbit around the batarian colony just to make sure they are not doing anything.
This war is a test for the Alliance the better it does the more the Galaxy and the Council races believe the humans are ready for a seat on the Council. (aside from that the next biggest thing is to get their fleet numbers up.)

so, to make sure I have the chain of events right. They rolled up with massive numerical advantages, and dropped a massive army on the colony, Said army then got massacred. They then decided "fuck it" and deorbited a moon or some such and rendered the planet utterly uninhabitable, killing everyone except maybe zareed.
Now, the baterians are technically a citadel race, even if they are the citadel's trouble child, and humanity is not. However, the Batarians murdered a fucking planet. So, while the council is not quite at the point of just going to war against them, they are doing everything up to that to support the alliance in their war effort. With them treating this as something of an audion for humanity to take up the batarians old job of terminus buffer state.

The silver lining to Mindoir getting cracked is now the SA can easily mine the planet's mantle and core, that means A WHOLE LOT of rare metals to mine.
The public may not like it if the Alliance desecrate the loss of life on the planet, but still, a Whole Planet's worth or resources just sitting there not under several kilometers or rock...

In all seriousness get those shipyards up and go all out on training any available forces.
Were a military officer retired or not. Any help we can give is needed.
Did we get those rifles up or was it still in dev? Joint training is also a thing we need to start now.
Chances are the SAN will use our shipyards and the fleet as bait to force the batarians to go to war with the council.
We also need to get in contact with intelligence since they might start making our biotics into a psuedo psi-ops.
Our people are probably as shocked as much as we are. We need to prepare them for whats to come but also to work together with everyone.
Lastly we have former slaves from the hegemony. The last thing we want is for our citizens to take it out on them over something thwy had no part in.

According to the Mass effect wiki a Garden world means habitable, or is able to support a population. Furthermore Mindoir is specifically called a farming colony and listed as a Garden world on the site. So I am pretty sure Mindoir was a garden world.
