If you read my post right i dont really care for powers, i would get rid of those things for free because Asgard and Thor are undeserving of Lokis love and there were talks at the begining of the quest about Loki being cyborg which i found fun.
Thor is actually a bro and has been the entire quest even if he is a dick about it. He may be a dick but he is still our brother and things like slapping Frigga while bad wasn't as bad as he could have done and to his credit he is literally insane and would have never done that if he was sane. While Asgardians may be unhappy with the reveal of Loki's heritage it's because it's still fresh and they may just need time to get over it.

Sacrificing our memories for no reason just seems edgy and petty.
Loki of learning will become useless if we boost ours past 40 might as well sacrifice that.
Also sacrifice the relationship with the trainer because we haven't even talked to them for almost a hundred years so it will disappear in its own.
Going to say that I think we really need to draw the line with this sacrifice thing and I think that line should be anything in regards to memories and even bonds. No exceptions, if people push this you are just going to be likely to drive people away from the sacrifice thing all together. Seriously, we already have enough power, no need to go that far.

Sacrifice the things we don't use like:
Concentrated Mischief
Payback king
Healing magic
Healing magic skills
Swords
Daggers
Teleportation
Loki of learning (if we advance learning past 40 this trait becomes limited)
Hel's Musician
Lawful Loki
Relationship with his Instructor and trainer
Daggers
Hel's musician
Healing magic skills
An eye
Forged equipment
Are the only things worth giving up. The other things are useful.

What bonds Loki hasn't talked to them since he was young. The only time he did was to use them during Kingship they are going to disappear like the village boy. Or do you have plans to talk to them?

Edit: @DreamCWeaver when was the last time Loki spied on someone for more then one turn, or use laws? Also once our learning goes up the Diplo trait for smarter people will be useless.

After seeing what happened with Thor really hoping that Frigga urges Loki to not follow his path and sacrifice so much for power. Seems like something she would definitely be worried about considering what happened to one of her sons and the potential worry about Loki doing the same. Not helped with people going insanely overboard OOC with the sacrifices.

We should sacrifice binding, we barely succeed with basic binding rolls and don't really use it.

Laws will probably be important since Loki is going to rule jotunheim right now. And spying should be important with all the secret plots Loki doesn't know about.

You are right we should harvest those feelings and turn them in HATRED , vengeance is even sweater with feelings. Though seriously we should ditch Asgard soon .

Then just get more people, easily replaced either through that or build something that lowers it. We will have the learning to do that.

Edit: Also why keep payback king, Loki is rich and it would require a bunch of Nat 1 to make him go bankrupt. This one time is the only time Loki ever went in to debt. It isn't needed at all for him.

Edit: @MRoy healing is also useless Osmond created healing potions which is better then our low healing. If it is for self heal we get that from Shapeshifting.

No he didn't.

Sacrificing memories and emotions is way to much so I don't think we should do that.

Binding is one of our inherent Magic's (our tertiary) so it is easier to raise through training so I would rather we just trained that instead of getting rid of it.

He did go look back at the king turns we rolled from his lab and got that.

Edit: @KnowledgeKing what I meant by my question is can we increase a skill to the point that the DC is 0? For example when we were trying to bind Thanos and the DC for his eyes were 50 would that become zero if the skill was high enough?

But Loki does use his binding. It's a large part of our business dealings and it's outright been noted that we use it to increase the time for our long our enchantments last.

Uh, you do remember that that is where our loved ones and family, who don't really care about the Jotun thing, reside right? Kind of seems unfair to ignore them just because the rest of the population are being a bit dickish.

That's what I mean that it's pretty disturbing that people are so obsessed with power that they treat things like relations like mere numbers and completely ignore the human elements. They may just be numbers to you but they played a huge role in Loki's early development and Loki was even close friends with them. I don't want to just give up something like that just for a minor boost when other stuff would work as well and nowhere near as personal.

We need laws for OF to flourish and we just got into a debate with Nova Corps, more than likely well have to keep to the books. We haven't spied because we lack intrigue units, something you yourself were advocating for. Yeah, by 40. We can sacrifice it then, not now when were about to be using diplo on frost giants and if we try things with Karnilla.

Turn Twenty-Four Results Pt. 7
-[z] Tell Sigyn, to stay safe and don't investigate Amora.

-[z] Ask Osmond and Elym to come with us, and they would have a bit more freedom than in Asgard.

-[z]Grab an exosuit. If you don't have one for your Jotun size commission one in that size.

-[z] Ask Osmond to give you the Perfect Serum to get the full healing.

-[z] While leaving, ask Egil to come to meet us at the end of the next turn.

-[z] Say goodbye to the family.

----

Loki has a quick discussion with Sigyn, making sure that she won't put herself in danger by investigating the possibility that Amora is behind Odin's recent fall. She agrees to his request, and Loki is relieved and confident in her safety.

Next, Loki asks Osmond and Elym to come with him to Jotunheim, citing freedom as the reason to come. Unfortunately that only appeals to Osmond who agrees, as he has...experiments to proceed with. Elym has no issues with freedom and doesn't wish to leave her home. It's sad but understandable.

With Osmond in tow, Loki is able to have him make Loki an exosuit in his Jotun size, and give Loki the Perfect Serum to help Loki heal from his Water of Sights experience.

**Loki's is now only suffering -10 Martial

He make two more stops, one to let Egil know to meet him at the end of next year, and two to say goodbye to his Mother and Father, and his nephew and his niece.

Loki has...unfortunate difficulty getting to Torunn. Sif refuses to let Loki near her for the time being, due to his Frost Giant heritage. Torunn is visibly sad at the ordeal and wants to see Loki, but her mother refuses them both. Balder doesn't have that issue, though he seems less...pressed about his uncle Loki leaving. He does ask if uncle Egil will be around, and when Amora answers affirmatively, that's all he seems to care about. He does issue a 'bye Uncle Loki', warming the second prince's heart, but he doesn't care much past that.

Frigga is clearly distraught, only able to whisper he goodbye as she wraps Loki in a tight embrace. Loki actually struggles to reach his bedridden father and talk to him, holding his hand, as he says goodbye to him as well. After prying his mother off of him, and assuring her that he will be fine and well, Loki is able to depart.

Before he leaves however, she asks Loki to promise her, promise her that he will not pursue Thor. Does Loki agree?

[] Yes
[] No
[] Ask why
[] [Frigga] [Write-In]

And now, Loki is ready to leave for Jotunheim. Does he have anything else left to take care of?
[] No [Start the Turn]
[] Actually [Leaving] [Write-In]

I think we should raise learning and binding with the sacrifices. Learning would allow for greater forging because for each point in the skill we decrease the DC by 5 which is much better then puting a point directly in to forging. Learning also effects our willpower when dealing with mind magic(Amora), we can also use Odin Library to use learning to leverage for magic skills. Serums, and armor become easier to create which can be used to boost stats. Before that place 8 points in to binding to get magic to 40 making it easier to raise forging because of double magic actions and higher magic to raise the low forging stat.
Actually wouldn't it make more sense to use the sacrifice to raise forging over binding since binding is actually a lot easier to raise and things like forging could actually help in that regard? So two things I would like to raise are learning and forging since those would work best for us.

The spying only works if Loki does it on the same target three times and personally. Do you think the thread would be able to agree for three turns straight? Or even for Loki tondo it personally ifhe is ruling a kingdom plus his low intrigue stats.

@Red Bovine this isn't numbers it is fact Loki is going to lose them on his character sheet. We aren't wiping on memories but feeling towards them that are already low and will disappear unless we talk to them in a couple of turns like village boy.

Sacrificing knowledge makes it impossible to raise again

Us moving to other place doesnt mean we ignore them, we can still visit (I actually remember you being quite supportive of ruling Jotun, i suppose distance wasnt important to you then). It seems unfair for Loki and probably Sygin who is his wife to be shunned by majority of Asgard society when they have better options and still can keep connection with their family.
