...Anyone else now absolutely turned off by the ritual with how insane people have become about it? For fucks sake people are talking about sacrificing our memories for power! It's not like people haven't learned a goddamn thing in regards that sacrificing everything for power isn't a good thing. I'm honestly a bit disgusted at the sheer level of greed and disregard trading anything for the cost of power and now am seriously tempted to fight as hard as possible about just doing the ritual in the first place.
I know, right? Thor is supposed to be the power hungry jerk! Everyone else is just trying to ride my coattails!

We should sacrifice a horse in the name of Thanos

@KnowledgeKing Can we make Thanos a god and sacrifice things to him for power? And what happens if we give Thanos all infinity stones?

Just repaying back equally in kind. What are uses of our memories for Thor when they are unrequired , so dont go all moral on me. Some meories are worth sacrifice in exchange for stooping those monsters. And yea my point about Asgard still stands, it isnt worth of Lokis heartbreak, especially for the people that so easy forget all the good he did for them.

Sacrifice the things we don't use like:
Concentrated Mischief
Payback king
Healing magic
Healing magic skills
Swords
Daggers
Teleportation
Loki of learning (if we advance learning past 40 this trait becomes limited)
Hel's Musician
Lawful Loki
Relationship with his Instructor and trainer
Daggers: 5/5
Concentrated Mischief
Payback king
One eye
Lawful Loki

Are the stuff I am comfortable with sacrificing.

Hel's Musician is a negative trait so sacrificing it probably would not work

I don't think trying to beat Thor at the dark ritual game is the right move, there are other ways if we want to power game. If this is about protecting Asgard I don't think we need to worry about Thor, and if we do then sealing him away like Hela is the better move than stooping to his level.

So i have idea, lets sacrifices our memories of Thor and all our brotherly feelings towards him, we dont need them anyway.
Im thinking about sacrificing our entire boody now, to Osmond that is and becoming robot. Maybe keep heart and brain.
I would add any love we have for Asgard, we dont need to feel anything for place that is so fast to turn against us. We dont have a home.
Alright I'm just going to say this, fuck this line of thinking, fuck giving up everything that made us who we are for power. It's disturbing how far people are willing to go for power and readily to give up so much at the drop of a hat. We saw how that ended with Thor. Our memories make us who were are. We shouldn't give them up just for power. Power is a means to an end. It shouldn't be the end all in regards to all our actions. The universe doesn't need another Thor. It needs someone to prove that his methods are wrong.

Man this is just a quest chill. Besides Thor beat up his mom, strangled his father, and hates Loki for being different lol, strong enough to hate to almost kill Loki if it wasnt for Amora.
And if you wanna prove Thor wrong in the quest, then using his route to power is the dumbest way to do so.

Can we sacrifice forged goods in mass? Will it do anything if we sacrifice those, or will those specific items just be unrecoverable?

You could.

Though just for reference same, @KnowledgeKing of we sacrifice the tuning fork would the boost be immense?

No. It'd be decent at best.

@KnowledgeKing Is there a set value for something we sacrifice? A regular sword is worth 0.02 points, an eye is worth 12 points, is it more valuable the less there are of them? Can we sacrifice things more than once or is it like with the Norns?

You can do multiple sacrifices. No set value though.

Yup, he backhanded Frigga, tried to kill Loki & Odin, and xenophobic towards Loki, good riddance!

Thor did not try to kill anyone. There is not try. It would've happened. And quickly at that.

@KnowledgeKing Can we make Thanos a god and sacrifice things to him for power? And what happens if we give Thanos all infinity stones?

No. He gets the infinity stones and snaps...

If you read my post right i dont really care for powers, i would get rid of those things for free because Asgard and Thor are undeserving of Lokis love and there were talks at the begining of the quest about Loki being cyborg which i found fun.

Loki of learning will become useless if we boost ours past 40 might as well sacrifice that.
Also sacrifice the relationship with the trainer because we haven't even talked to them for almost a hundred years so it will disappear in its own.

Edit: @MRoy healing is also useless Osmond created healing potions which is better then our low healing. If it is for self heal we get that from Shapeshifting.

Forgot our learning would increase once we do it
I think we should raise learning and binding with the sacrifices. Learning would allow for greater forging because for each point in the skill we decrease the DC by 5 which is much better then puting a point directly in to forging. Learning also effects our willpower when dealing with mind magic(Amora), we can also use Odin Library to use learning to leverage for magic skills. Serums, and armor become easier to create which can be used to boost stats. Before that place 8 points in to binding to get magic to 40 making it easier to raise forging because of double magic actions and higher magic to raise the low forging stat.

@KnowledgeKing if a skill is brought up enough will we ever reach DC 0?
Is there a limit to skill increase?
