I thought that baby-proofing applied to... Well little babies. I mean by the time I was 7 I could have easily reached knives and many other dangerous items in the house. No one needed to baby-proof this stuff from me.

I mean, c'mon, by your logic, at this age a child should still be escorted to and back from school. You know so that you can baby-proof the path they are walking on. Throw away any stones (because oh my god, they may kill someone with it, those untrustworthy rascals) any sticks (because it may be dirty, and children never get dirty, yuck) etc.
Actually I do walk my niece to and from school or at least the school bus. I don't know if it is because I love on New York and don't trust them to go alone. I realise this might be a cultural or geographic difference between me and you.
So I'll just chalk it up to cultural or quest differences for now because we are derailing.

Yep, cuz by the time I was 7 I would only go to school with someone if I felt like.

Come on i was having a serious discussion that I tried to be respectful and non sarcastic about because I realize not everyone would share my views. So can I ask the same respect.

Anyway back to the quest, does anyone want Tyr as our martial instructor?

Turn Three Results
Martial:
----------
- [z] Train: The expectations haven't changed
-- [z] Hand to Hand, DC 35

Finally, Loki seems to have the hang of things, as he trains his hand to hand abilities. He might not be...Megathor, but he does alright. Slowly over the year, Loki soaks up the proper techniques for punching, kicking, dodging, blocking, and grappling. He maintains correct form, and even learns a bit about disarming someone who has a weapon. For once, Loki can say he enjoys training, and the gains he's received from it.

Roll:1D100 => 65+5=70
Great success!
+2/5 Hand to Hand skill

Diplomacy:
---------------
- [z] Bring a present to the instructor or trainer, it couldn't hurt to have them like you more. DC 12

At the start of nearly every class and training session, Loki is there with a present, without fail. Whether it be an apple or a flower, or a piece of jewelry, or something else, Loki was there, with presents galore. At first, they simply accept the gift and keep moving, but eventually, they start to roll their eyes at the effort, though they accept it with grace nonetheless.
It was only small, but a favor with one's teacher could blossom into more potentially. And Loki is counting on it. For now, it only gets him a bit more attention here, and help there, but soon...

Roll:1D100 => 14+6=20
Success!
Minor favor with the instructor and trainer.

Stewardship:
--------------------
- [z] Try to observe how Father ran the kingdom. Even if you couldn't sit in on meetings... DC 55

Loki likes his new responsibility that his mother has bestowed upon him, and so he leans into it, trying to improve in it and do as best as he can. And who better than the King to observe, to try to get better?

Loki does keep his distance from the King, due to the scolding earlier, but he takes special notice of his rulings, of how he balances the check book, and of the decisions he makes. Racking his brain, Loki applies Odin's policies and way of running things to what he manages and what he might run in the future, assuming for whatever reason that he isn't King over Thor, and ultimately manages to complete his goal and be a better, more responsible manager of money and people.

He even imagines for a moment that he sees the All-Father glance at him, during his many times of observation, and give him a small nod of approval. Whether it truly happened or not, Loki's heart jumps at the possibility of getting some approval from the King. From his father.

Roll:1D100 => 90+6=96
+2 Stewardship
Gained favor with Odin.

Intrigue:
--------------
- [z] Pull pranks on Thor. Those were always fun, and he never saw them coming! DC 15
Roll:1D100 => 51+7=58

Loki Odinson is one who lies in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike and gain his revenge. Or at least that's what Loki tells himself as he stalks his brother, waiting to prank him. Loki observes his brother Thor, his actions, his daily routine, his blindspots, and chooses the best time to strike. And strike he does. At first it's minor, misplacing Thor's weapons, and replacing his 'Megathor' facepaint with something more...permanent that needs magic to remove. Then...it escalates. Hearing what Thor was doing to these girls, cutting their hair and storing it, Loki begins his search, looking for...wherever Thor hides these trophies of his.

And he finds it, and instantly sneers at the strange sight. Who would've thought that Thor would be so...odd as to keep various girls' hair in some kind of shrine. Well Loki would 'help' him cease this behavior. With minimal effort, Loki 'misplaces' the shrine to a visible place that Mother of all people will discover. Thor's eyes are wide when he sees Frigga with his shrine and gulps in anticipation.

A heavy scolding befalls him, and he's allowed only to go to school and training and back for the next three years. He's also forced to apologize to each and every girl he harmed, and pay them from his personal allowance until he's covered the damage.

Loki smirks triumphantly at a job well-done.

Learning:
-------------
-[z] Pay extra attention to your Classes and try to excel! DC 15
Roll:1D100 => 70+7+5=82

Since he doesn't seem to be making friends in class, Loki opts to focus on his studies and excel in the classroom. Without trying to observe everyone or bother them and be friendly, Loki finds it a lot easier to learn. And learn he does. From the history of Asgard, to basic mathematics, to language skills, and more, Loki finds himself on top of things and truly doing well. The instructor even compliments Loki on the job well done, and hints that he may be near the top of his class. Loki beams with pride at the words, and works even harder. Incentivized to do well. To be...smart. To receive praise.

+.5 Learning Loki
Loki is considered an advanced, top level student.

Personal:
-------------
-[z] There was...something in you. You could feel it. Try to tap into that. DC, ??

Roll: 1D100 => 71

Loki reaches deep within his core, just as the book says to do. He focuses his energy and meditates and brings it forth into his hands and his eyes, his brain. He doesn't want just to activate his magic, he wants to know what it is, and how it works. What it does. And what he finds is that his energy has become...

Thinking we go with this since we did talk about going the forging route. It would also help with future science projects and all sorts of creations.

Author Notes: Don't really think we should try to learn any more magic till we've mastered our first, whatever it will be. Also think we should try and become Heimdall's apprentice in this, much like we tried( and mostly failed) to do in the first Quest. Also @KnowledgeKing I though Heimdall was around the same age as Thor considering Thor called him his best friend.

@KnowledgeKing

Could we get a more fleshed out idea of what Enhancement and Enchantment are?

Enhancement: Enhance others and possibly yourself with your magic. Basically boosting stats temporarily.

Enchantment: Like what Odin did to Mjolnir. Making non-magical things, magical for a time. Possibly placing magic onto things or to stop other magic.

@KnowledgeKing, can you give us a brief summary of what all those options can do?

Most are self-explanatory, got any specifically that confuse you?

Is this the 'enchant weapons' or 'enchant people' magic?

Weapons/items.

[] Like Clay, Moldable And Yet...(Transmutation)
going the forging route the best i can
*edit* fucked up when choosing magic, corrected
