To be fair, you guys did create a extremely big company with incredibly lax security and continued to overlook that issue. For example if you bought an army would they have an easy time invading? We can't just blame the QM when things go wrong.

I was under the impression that Odin won't allow a standing foreign army on Asgardian soil.
 
As I said: PvP. And the other players know our every move and more of the setting while we didn't even know there were other players.

Also, while I voted to build an army and not advertise to a world that Loki was in charge of Phoenix , fair is fair. When the QM states he has trap options while hiding critical information and ignoring intelligence services... yeah.

Also: we did take security options each turn. They gave us 6 Asgardians and 100 Titans. So, our focus on security and prior successes probably were for naught or a huge negative.

Essentially, all our success has actually been a negative and two bad choices that we could not have known were bad were world-endingly negative.

The more I read of these quests the more sure I become that stat grinding is the way. The company fucked us, friends fucked us, our pet got one shotted our family gets subverted by hidden players that go off and have epic adventures while we are getting wrecked. And now apparently meta knowledge must be abused. We know where all infinity stones are grind stats like hell get the stones and one shot every single threat. Then we can make a company.

We're not allowed to even leave Asgard without like a 2000 point crit or a critical fail. We did grind alot of stats last time they but they were dust in the wind compared to our enemies who often critted way higher then us with rolls we never got to see. We were supposedly the greatest swordmaster and an ultra genious warrior last quest but thor beats us anyways "because he's thor" apparantly that was and is another player who's an actual IRL friend of the QM. Same as thanos apparantly. And the QM didn't feel this was an important detail to mention. I just...smh

You know, after reading it through, I think I know the answer. He's lying. Thanos needs Odin's knowledge, so he wouldn't have killed Odin. Whatsmore, if he did, he hasn't specified when. If they are previously injured that badly we can't save them.

We lack the means and the method
 
Oh god please no then we're screwed either way if we do trust him and he's lying then we're idiots and it's our fault for trusting someone that would obviously lie and if we don't trust him and he's telling the truth we as the player base are overly paranoid and we just killed our parents because we're stupid.

It's a catch 22

It's not. Odin is guaranteed alive, and if he did hurt Griggs, we couldn't help either way. We don't have healing. Either we kill him and he was lying and we save our mom. Or we don't, we get knocked out probably and we lose them both. The biggest problem is the battle might attract Thanos and if he gets the mindstone from the leader we might be screwed.

I was under the impression Thanos wanted to use the mindstone to directly gather his knowledge. He has no guarantee Odin even has a library afterall.

If they do then there was no way we could save him even with the medicine.
The mercs follow the leader who listen to orders from Thanos. I imagine Thanos would specify not to kill Odin.

Also isn't our company one of the mos frequently used across the universe meaning that if Thanos stole from across the universe we would know because our buisness has fingers across the universe.

Are you saying that Thanos is better at finances then the God of Coin loki? When Lokis reach through his company should be greater then Thanos' own. Or did thanos have a 2 million point stewardship crit that we don't know about? It doesn't make sense narratively to have Thanos beat out Loki in an area that loki is way better at

You assume alot from a guy who seemingly attacks those he admire without any warning or foreshadowing dude. What we belive as players doesn't mean anything right now tbh

I think its weird that we have other users controlling characters, other than that I have no other complains.

I assumed Thanos gave three of the most powerful artefacts on hand to someone he had a personal relationship with an not some kind off the classified list, but if he really is just a merc we could turn this around. Bribe him with a blank cheque in exchange for the powerful items he's holding and to call off the rest of his men, or get them to turn on Thanos. Maybe we can leverage our vast wealth to end this invasion as well as start it.

Why wouldn't he just take the wealth? He has all the advantages, there's really no need for him to listen to anything Loki says.
