To be fair to us, Naron, you seem to forget that the Infared thing makes it impossible to sneak with all four girls whilst remaining undetected. Unless we want to be fail the optional objectives, which we have clearly shown not wanting to do.

Unless Contract's distraction disables that bullshit. But even then, we are too slow to cover the entire distance fast enough.
It never said anywhere that you are supposed to sneak in. None of your girls is even capable of doing it properly in the first place, though you can mitigate that with tech to some extent.

Ok, sorry Naron, but I think we have different definitions of 'be gone before someone notices what's going on.'

That is a figure of speech. In the same vein as "they will not know what hit them". It may be native to my own language though, I do not know about that.

Edit: To emphasize that matter, I changed the wording.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't think that you were using a figure of speech in the mission statement. I took them at face value. Sorry.

Of note: I am closing the votes on Tuesday. You have a few more days to work the kinks out of current plans or write up a new one.

Y'all realize it's still a tie between three different half-made plans, right?
I am painfully aware of that. As well as the fact that my own plan, as I've stated before, is very much a "bad plan is still better than no plan".

So, to be spiteful helpful, here's a different kind of no-plan:

[X] Plan Leave It To Professionals To Make A Plan
-[X] Ask Autumn (you know, the person who actually fought in a war) to give you a plan of action

[X] [Ludger] Take him along
-[X] No

[X] EXP Plan Knockout And Nothing Else
-[X] Baleful Eclipse 3-6 (120 EXP)

Here's my previous plan.
Oh well... If you insist

[X] Plan Pacifist (Bare Bones)
-[X] [Approach] Forest in the South, so that we have the sun at our backs. Let's make the enemy's attacks harder to aim.
--[X] Eva and Rico fly in first, preferrably carrying Ana and Black Sky through the air until detected. Keep inside the forest/forest canopy, be mindful of possible traps.
-[X] [Detection Alert] Keep flying forward for Ana and Rico, using Baleful Eclipse on opponents encountered. Rico is keeping in front of Eva, protecting her from the towers' view
--[X] Assuming Magical Girl Soldier Supreme starts shooting us, Baleful Eclipse her into submission. She is probably at one of the towers. Suggestion - fly forward as fast as you can, casting Supernova to distract and dazzle your opposition.
--[X] Once Soldier Supreme is subdued, block off access to her location (break some stairs) and clear the path for Black Sky and World Eater to the facility.
-[X] [Inside the Facility] Baleful Eclipse the manned post. If there is a specialist/practitioner known as Hunter, destroy with extreme prejudice. Collapse the entrance.
--[X] See about swiftly moving to the lower levels, to get White Glory. Destroy the floors in your way, if necessary (like, if the stairs to next level are all spread around as they are supposed to be in high security installations)
--[X] Once White Glory is secured, blast the entrance (or close to it) open again, pick up Soldier Supreme and leave.
-[X] [Autumn's Dream Special] The moment you learn the enemy has started the countdown, consider moving 1 km towards the facility to add a layer of protection to the girls. The moment they're in the clear, fly to them to extract them out.

[X] [Ludger] Take him along
-[X] No

[X] EXP Plan Protect and Knockout
-[X] Shining Protector (200 EXP)
-[X] Baleful Eclipse 3-5 (70 EXP)

If we're going pacifist run, keeping an overprotective Best Dog away is a better idea.
We really need a better plan for Black Sky and World Eater than "keep back at first" and "transform and fly to the entrance once the sniper is down while ignoring the enemy" on the Approach and Detection Alert sections.
I am also relying on the fact White Glory's Contractors will deliberately miss The Great Caterpillar as well. Also, that Supernova can dazzle people a bit farther away than it does damage.

Actually, what time of day will it be? EDIT: It's noon, so the approach is from South.

@Raising Kittens, the two problems with your plan are that keeping Sun and Moon separate (on opposite ends of a single file order) in the base is problematic from "cannot easily cast Baleful Eclipse" standpoint, and that your "Dream of War as Dungeon Bypass" option is kinda too dangerous (can probably collapse the entire base on White Glory's head) - resolve the order of movement, and shift the Dungeon Bypass duty to World Eater (WOG she can do it - and she can aim away from life sources too), and I'll consider voting for yours instead.

Can anyone explain why voting Plan KISS might be bad for our health? 'cause otherwise I might throw a vote for it.

if Haste becomes a serious issue, use Dream of War to start a tunnel down.

Targets: Ignore soldiers.

Use Searing Sunlight, Happy Trumpet, and Dream of War to create a path to the surface.
These are the biggest bad parts. There are bombs in the ground. Only way to disable them is through Rapid Digestion. We are unsure if it'll set every bomb in the facility off if one were to go off.

Ignoring the soldiers is suicidal. They can synchronize their attacks. Meaning they can kill Rico with enough stacks of soldiers.

There is a time limit of when to getting our target. Or else the whole building blows up and collapses on our cute heads.

Edit: Also, no guarantee tunneling straight down will get us to the bottom floor. Add along the fact that we would all be huddled into one place and become easy targets and well...

In addition to the ones Dark listed:
-[X] Keep Moving. Have Sun smash down locked doors with Searing Sunlight or her Scepter.
Searing Sunlight has Burn. More than a few of the bombs are gunpowder based. This is a bad combination.

[X] Plan Leeroy Jenkins
-[X] Start at the cliff side
--[X] Once on the top, have Ana transform into her catapiller form
---[X] Ride Anna to the entrance to the facility.
-[X] Go in, ready to disable anyone who gets in your way with Baleful Eclipse
--[X] DO NOT KILL UNLESS NECESSARY
--[X] Locate starewells that lead downward, try to find the target as quickly as possible
---[X] Try to locate some kind of blueprints or some kind of instruction guide for the layout of the building if possible
---[X] Try to make some kind of marks to show where you came from to go find a way back
-[X] Once White Glory is obtained, BOOK IT and try getting out as fast as possible
--[X] Once outside the facility radio in Autumn to come pick you up if she is able to teleport you all back
---[X] If Autumn is not able to do so yet, stick close together at the open clear field
-[X] If Supreme Soldier or The Hunter is either found or attacks, take them out as quickly as possible
--[X] Do not kill Supreme Soldier
--[X] If neither are engaged in combat, abandon those objectives

[X] [Ludger] Take him along
-[X] No

[X] EXP Plan Basic Spell 10
-[X] Scorching Sunlight level 10
-[X] Soothing Moonlight level 10

-[X] wait until dusk and then Ana flies transformed to the enemy-base and alert them somehow (ANYTHING that makes dmg on 1 of the towers or something like that, just that they would want to move some of them out) and then flies back to the forest, transforms back (basic Mg-form) and tries to hide with Eva and meanwhile Autumn stays out of the reach (That the Soldiers within the forest feel the Aura and just cant escape directly)
--[X] Use the jammers to stop communication and try to catch every soldier who tries to run back and be wary of the hill because eventually sniper (high position is the snipers best friend) (Eva and Rico can still communicate and the enemys have an even greater disadventage from it than us)
--[X] Be wary of line of sight and use Ana´s life-sensor as help to know when they come close Eva transformes (when Ana got hurt transform right away and heal her) and try to knockout as many enemys as possible within the forest without killing them with ambushes and so on
--[X] Naturally to say if the enemy "Hunter" appears destroy him (he will most likely chase us because of his name)
--[X] stay in the forest and make it as hard as possible beeing sniped until enough or all soldiers are knocked out, then follow Rico and Sky who are already within the Base
-[X] Meanwhile Rico and Sky sneak in while they are distracted (Best case enemys are mostly out and can easy overwhelmed and with jamming stopped from alarming the others)
--[X] if not exposed until then: try to sneak past the guardroom within the first floor without alarming them (prob here is Rico, because Eva and Rico are the complete opposite of stealth)
--[X] be extremly wary of ambushes from the enemys within the building
--[X] When meeting the hunter destroy him immediatly if possible(again be very careful because we wont blow us and/or white glory up), if not wait for Eva and Ana
--[X] Rico use her spell to heal Sky if necessary
-[X] after rescuing Glory ask her to help to knockout the normal soldiers with her soldiers if they wont blow their cover and/or maybe eleminate the hunter with them if possible and reasonable (very very best case overwhelm the other mg from behind, while she is trying to sniper or at least use them to pinpoint her location if we dont know it)
--[X] try to sneak out if Ricos-group isnt exposed otherwise rush out
--[X] if objectives are met retreat with autumn
--[X] if not but the other mg is reachable and it wouldnt be too dangerous get to her and knock her out with our eclipse-spell (if it wont take too much time)
--[X] if the hunter is still alive, the same with the mg, but instead of capturing eliminate him
-[X] Should everything fail: Autumn and the others outside will rush inside and try to meet up with Sky and Rico and Glory and retreat with Autumn´s transfer
    [X] Exp-Plan: DAMAGE
-[X] Raise Baleful Eclipse to level 6

-[X] Deploy from the North, utilizing the Hill as cover. Once at or near the peak, World Eater is to transform. All party members are to ride upon transformed body down into the underground portions of the base.
--[X] If necessary, destroy or disable towers during approach, especially if the Hunter or Soldier Supreme are spotted on one. Otherwise don't bother.
-[X] Once inside the base, World Eater should detransform. Movement should be Single file, Moon - World - Sky - Sun.
-[X] Keep Moving. Have Sun smash down locked doors with Searing Sunlight or her Scepter.
--[X] if Haste becomes a serious issue, use Dream of War to start a tunnel down.
-[X] Targets: Ignore soldiers. Contractors are 'friendly' and won't deliberately aim for us and regular soldiers are very little threat unless they're weilding heavy weapons.
-[X] Baleful Eclipse on all targets that do not meet descriptions of 'Contractor', 'Soldier', and White Glory. There should only be two such targets. Prioritize 'Soldier Supreme' if two targets are present.
-[X] Once White Glory has been reached, turn around and smash a way out. Use Searing Sunlight, Happy Trumpet, and Dream of War to create a path to the surface.
-[X] If Soldier Supreme is neutralized on the way down, pick her up.
-[X] Once a path to the surface has been cleared, climb onto World Eater's Caterpillar Form and fly out.

I pray that the vote Naron selected is the one he considers the best for us.

If not, welp, we buried ourselves.

True. I think the worst was plan KISS. With mine being an extremely close second.
Oh no, the worst plan was "make Autumn do it". Narratively, this is a plan all the girls are coming up with together, so the result would basically have been "wing it". Which would end poorly.

True enough. One of us should have probably added in our own plans though to at least ask Autumn if the plan was decent, maybe some kind of obvious, glaring hole.

But spoken truthfully: it doesnt matter which plan was the worst, because with our amount of information we couldnt make a good plan. But we all agree all plans have a few problems.

It was a tiring day, all things considered. Trekking through the countryside with a girl several years younger than you, trying to remain unseen from prying eyes... at least you could stay transformed and did not have to crawl over grass and rock in the dark.

You are Irene Dioli, Magical Girl Black Sky. With you wanders Primordial Sun, though she is not transformed right now. These weird nets you both wear would not be able to hide her from being detected... she does not even realise how warm the space around her gets after transforming is what you think. It is similar to how you felt when you first gained these cursed eyes, each time you look at her. Transformed, the girl is only barely not bright enough to hurt them.

At least these thoughts help you see her as your enemy.

I wish we hadn't split up...

With just the two of you, conversation was sparse and your magic would not offer much protection. The younger girl mostly keeps quiet and watches the path she crawls along with you.

Thinking of that... you do remember Ana complaining a lot during your journey to Kibo. So did you, mind, but Eva... or was it Rico? Sun was Rico, was she not?

Shaking off the thought, you get back to the previous one. The girl with you has not complained even once, despite the fact that she is bruised and sweaty and obviously tired, more so than you. Her breathing is laboured as you sit and eat; you are not really hungry for some reason, but Autumn said to force it down.

You finally made it on top of the large hill before taking that rest, so the hardest part is over. With the other thingies you carry, the next step should work out well enough. Eat, drink some water, advance. The sun is not yet deep enough for it to count as dusk, but it soon will.

Sadly, your quiet contemplation is broken by your... ahem, 'glorious' leader: "Strength to all, status."

"Moon speaking", the other twin's voice cuts in over your headset; so the one with you is Sun after all. "Ana and I are in place to start."

"Autumn speaking, all clear on my end."

You sigh and exchange a glance with Sun. Moon does know everything that went on on your end until now, but did not say anything about it. They still insist on not telling anyone but Ana and you about it for some reason. What did you do to earn their trust like that?

"Sky speaking, we reached the second waypoint a minute ago. I want to take a short rest, then continue onwards."

"Understood. I have confirmation that none of you was spotted so far, but we don't know where Soldier Supreme is. Be careful."

""Of course"", is what you and Moon answer at the same time. Sun massages her tiny feet with a grimace that swings into a pout and back, then into a smile and back. That is another thing you are pretty sure the twins are not even aware about: their expressions change near-constantly at times and you are pretty sure it is because of their mental conversations.

You push these thoughts away after a bit and wave for the younger girl to follow you again; it is time. Your path becomes a lot easier, though; now that the climbing part is over, you just have to walk. The canopy even shields you from some of the offending rays the sun throws your way, though Rico does not even seem to notice even if they shine right into her eyes.

Your observation of the enemy by your side is interrupted the moment you notice a small building ahead... and a girl lying on its top. It is only faint, but you can see the air around her whirling in many warm colours that are not usually there. Magic.

A quick move pulls Sun into cover with you, the girl quietly complying. One finger pointed at the barely visible girl shows her what you spotted... and now that you are still, you can hear the faint sound of chatter coming from that same direction. That might be bad... but on the other hand... you quickly tap your microphone. "Sky speaking, there is a Magical Girl ahead of us. We weren't noticed so far and I can hear at least a handful of soldiers with her."

A momentary silence holds everyone as your plan falls apart before it even started. Then Winter speaks up with exactly what you wanted to hear: "Compromising their sniper is a priority for as long as we act on the outside. Do you think you can take her down with just the two of you?"

"Ugh... if we were together, we could just blast her unconcious..."
While you can not see Moon's pout, you can definitely hear it from those words; Sun provides the visuals. Still, your particular magic might be able to do the trick just fine, so you flick her forehead lightly and respond: "She is good, but we are already close and there are two of us. Sun, you distract the soldiers with her... I take care of the rest."

Seeing that no one knew where Soldier Supreme was until now, there will be none of White Glory's soldiers there. Just a handful of regular soldiers... but probably not enough enemies for you to work with.

Suppressing a sigh, you motion for Sun to follow you as you start sneaking. "Moon, prepare the jamming."

As you speak, you tap a few buttons on the thingy slung over your back before setting it down in front of an old tree. Moon can remote-activate it now.

A few steps closer, mind the bushes... ducking a little even though the girl is looking the other way... take no chances.

Once you are close enough, you motion for Sun to wait. She understands and keeps quiet as you scoop some blood from your temples and have it harden into a bright prism, then send it flying.

Soldier Supreme Health: 1,500 - 801 = 699)

Despite the fact it was barely audible and definitely not visible from that angle, Soldier Supreme snaps out of her lying position in an instant... yet she was lying down and did not expect the blow; your crystal smashes into her side and throws her off the building, but not out of your line of sight. You can see her flesh turning a faint pink where cloth was torn... which means that it is an ugly purple in reality; that probably makes for a really heavy bruise, if not worse.

Sun transforms right next to you and takes to the air as you wander forward, right towards the heaving Magical Girl. Seeing her like this makes your stomach churn... did you hit her that hard?

Yet, "Good evening" is what you tell her with a smile while Sun's appearance leads to the first shouts. "I hope you don't mind us intruding on your outing?"

Her only response is to draw a sword on you; her sidearm, just like the intel said. Soldier Supreme does not even try to get her rifle and instead readies herself for combat. Surely she will feel better after... no, stop. No helping people anymore. You do not like her being hurt, but trying to make it better will only make it worse. No matter how beautifully and friendly your blood glimmers in the evening sun. You will more of it to flow out of the cracks in your skin, soaking your dress from the inside and gushing out.

Dozens of crystals start flying around your impromptu battlefield, each one eyed by the opposition while you produce more to fill the air... and then her sword swings around, right into the charging Sun.

She easily bats aside Sun's scepter, but her retaliation just slides off the tiny girl's skin like water... and she sidesteps the crystal you sent careening for her head.

A quick nudge has the big crystals break into smaller ones you can throw around faster while your ally slides aside and has a dozen soldiers come into view. You can feel your smile widen at the sight.

This is perfect.

With a shower of crystals going down on Soldier Supreme, you force her to continue dodging by using difficult angles. The soldiers stop and watch her dance through your bright lethal storm for a moment, enough for you to break down each crystal again to lead yet another strike.

Then she flinches from a crystal glancing her injured side, the pain making her overstep in her measured movements. You clamp down on the opportunity and smash as much as you can into her.

"Protect the girl!"
It is the first thing you hear from the soldiers while your crystals polish her skin until it shines probably grate off every little patch of skin they can reach. Your magic roars as you take in the opposition; three of them fall onto their backs as you smile, but the rest aims at you over the crumbling form of their Magical Girl. "Fire!"

And while your crystals break into smaller fragments yet again to dart back, a hail of bullets is let loose on you.

The bullets hit their mark and you feel them chip away at your bloodsoaked dress before pushing through and drumming into your body, a rhytmic staccato sending pain through your entire being.

It is nothing in comparison to what you did to others... you push through it and continue to focus on the girl in front of you.

Knocked Out)

Another wave of crystals continues to chafe her and you manage to land one hit right into her neck. The bleeding girl collapses to the ground, her transformation dissolving in the same moment as you stop your assault. Pain courses through you, the sharp stings and fiery burning competing for attention with your roaring magic.

"Scorching Sunlight!"
And then the world is basked in light.

(Scorching Sunlight: +10240 Base Damage, dice do not matter = 10,240 Total Damage

Ichorate Prism: No damage redirected

Black Sky: +450 Base Resilience, dice do not matter = 450 Total Damage Reduction

Armour damaged)

The air around you begins to boil from her spell's heat, but the light itself does not harm you. You welcome it, absorb it into your white-soaked body and bring it to use sealing the wounds you suffered before.

You peel yourself out of the light and refill the holes in your dress with quickly hardening blood... but there are no enemies anymore. The soldiers in front of you threw their weapons away and raised their hands high.

They surrendered.

Huh, that is a first.

(Armour Restored)

You both blink at the men and women, then at Soldier Supreme's prone body. Before either of you can say anything, the one in the front goes to his knees before you. "Please, have mercy!"

...that person is really weird. Although you can see why they might assume you want to hurt them back. Urgh, the thought alone makes you shiver. How can everyone be happy if people are wantonly bad to each other? What would mother think of that?

"Okay!"
Thank god for Sun, the little darling. She just floats around glowing brightly, her light illuminating the surroundings back to day-like conditions... with the spell she used earlier, they definitely know you are here now.

For some reason however, her acceptance has the soldiers baffled. You look around for a moment, at the small pile of rifles, the building right next to them and your cheerful friend enemy. Hm...

"Actually, I... take it your superiors won't be happy about this?"
"...no, ma'am..."

He stays close to the ground for some reason while the rest remains as still as possible, obviously scared. You really want to make them feel more at ease, but you have nothing to do that with at the moment. Though... heh.

"I see. Sun, would you be a dear and take care of these?"

You point at the weapons, a plan forming in your mind in the time the younger girl needs to nod her assent and raise her scepter. Then she pauses, looks between her weapon and the firearms... before wandering right into their middle with a bright smile. "I know! Stealth is over anyway, so it doesn't matter.... Supernova!"

Again her light rushes out from beneath her skin, engulfing the small area she stands at in an actually searing brightness. You hear a few soldiers gasp and curse as you shield your own eyes, but even you have to blink spots out of your field of vision afterwards. The grass around Sun is burned away, the ground grey and black... and the rifles are molten, burned wrecks. Good.

While the soldiers are still orienting themselves, you whack each of them into the head with a small crystal, the cries of pain making you cringe a little. "I'm sorry for this. Anyway, please stay around here until we've left and call your superiors sometime during the night. As you can see, we knocked you all out and made off with your Magical Girl."

Most are still rubbing the quickly forming bruises on their heads, but the first two start to catch on to what you mean and start explaining to their comrades.

Naturally, people that were knocked out while doing their duty will not be punished as much as people that surrendered. You almost giggle over your own genius before turning to Soldier Supreme.

You can take her along no problem, but what do you do after that?

As you still ponder, you notice someone with a first-aid kit patching up the girl. That is good, you do not want her to get into a critical condition while you are busy. Then Sun pulls at your sleeve to get your attention, looking a little sheepish. "Um... Eva says that Ana ate the towers while we were busy."

...

You stare at each other for a long moment, then a heavy sigh finds its way out of your throat. The worst part about this is that you are not even really surprised.

Three fifty metres tall watchtowers with sensors... and World Eater just made them into a snack.

"She said there was no one on them, so she thought that would help... it kind of does, too, right? Now they are basically blind to anything going on here, right?"

You offer a smirk over the probably unplanned pun and idly stick a finger into your left eyehole. "You're not wrong... at least I hope they don't have any eyes above ground anymore."

It still feels a little weird that you can feel out your own skull like that, but there is no pain for as long as you do not go further than a few centimetres. Blood gently pools around your finger, thick and viscous in there. Sun, however, flinches at the reminder. You pop the finger out and spray her with blood before she can apologise. "No being sorry, I'm no little flower you need to watch out for."

"...'kay..."

Now she sulks and wipes away the crystallising liquid. You just giggle and motion for the downed Magical Girl. "Now we just need to get down and meet up with the others. Stealth is definitely out of the question, so we should advance."

Advance... you always wanted to say that.
Anyway, the two of you shoulder the unconcious girl, bid the soldiers goodbye -why are they bowing?- and make your way downward.

Still, what will you do with Soldier Supreme?

Today I learned how bullshit Splinter actually is. Sky lolnoped that boss for you... although the fact she rolled so damn high each time is partly at fault. Of her six modifier rolls (1d300), none was below 210.
I revealed Fragment's Scatter on her sheet, too.

Eh. She may try to interfere if she wakes up. And Eva sounds the most equiped to handle her from what I see of her sheet.
