Honestly? I am 25% tempted to just suggest a plan of charging in head first with Eva leading the way as we spam Baleful Eclipse since it can easily one shot the mooks.

Oh well... If you insist

[X] Plan Pacifist (Bare Bones)
-[X] [Approach] Forest in the South, so that we have the sun at our backs. Let's make the enemy's attacks harder to aim.
--[X] Eva and Rico fly in first, preferrably carrying Ana and Black Sky through the air until detected. Keep inside the forest/forest canopy, be mindful of possible traps.
-[X] [Detection Alert] Keep flying forward for Ana and Rico, using Baleful Eclipse on opponents encountered. Rico is keeping in front of Eva, protecting her from the towers' view
--[X] Assuming Magical Girl Soldier Supreme starts shooting us, Baleful Eclipse her into submission. She is probably at one of the towers. Suggestion - fly forward as fast as you can, casting Supernova to distract and dazzle your opposition.
--[X] Once Soldier Supreme is subdued, block off access to her location (break some stairs) and clear the path for Black Sky and World Eater to the facility.
-[X] [Inside the Facility] Baleful Eclipse the manned post. If there is a specialist/practitioner known as Hunter, destroy with extreme prejudice. Collapse the entrance.
--[X] See about swiftly moving to the lower levels, to get White Glory. Destroy the floors in your way, if necessary (like, if the stairs to next level are all spread around as they are supposed to be in high security installations)
--[X] Once White Glory is secured, blast the entrance (or close to it) open again, pick up Soldier Supreme and leave.
-[X] [Autumn's Dream Special] The moment you learn the enemy has started the countdown, consider moving 1 km towards the facility to add a layer of protection to the girls. The moment they're in the clear, fly to them to extract them out.

[X] [Ludger] Take him along
-[X] No

[X] EXP Plan Protect and Knockout
-[X] Shining Protector (200 EXP)
-[X] Baleful Eclipse 3-5 (70 EXP)

If we're going pacifist run, keeping an overprotective Best Dog away is a better idea.
We really need a better plan for Black Sky and World Eater than "keep back at first" and "transform and fly to the entrance once the sniper is down while ignoring the enemy" on the Approach and Detection Alert sections.
I am also relying on the fact White Glory's Contractors will deliberately miss The Great Caterpillar as well. Also, that Supernova can dazzle people a bit farther away than it does damage.

Actually, what time of day will it be? EDIT: It's noon, so the approach is from South.

Reminder Naron has stated the MOMENT they feel her aura they will detonate everything, fuck any casualties.

I working as fast as I can (I am an old man, dont rush me pls) and that plan wont be perfect. Therefore we can use it as a foundation.

Which is why "consider" is used.
Also, it wasn't quite clear if the stalling in the remote location was of the "distract" variety or of the "glorious last stand" variety. Second one might offer a guaranteed period of not-exploding even if Autumn's Aura is felt.
Around noon, though you can tell them to wait for a particular time.
South it is then.

If it states that White Glory can stall them for ten minutes, you can assume that you will always get those ten minutes.

We can probably assume that Autumn's Dream will receive the notice that the stalling has begun, within two or three minutes of it beginning.
We can probably assume those 8 minutes will be allowed for us even if Autumn's Dream is spotted and her aura becomes functional.

Plan suggestion: Before we're spotted, World Eater serves as our own spotter to avoid the possible patrols. It won't help us against the infra-red detectors on the towers, but will give us more time before we need to rush in... The difference between 10 km (12 minutes flight) and 1 km (8-9 turns flight) is a really significant one.

If you are so worried about the amount of time, why not suggest flight levels?

Don't forget to include what tech equipment we want to bring. We know that it is possible to get our hands on equipment that will hide World Eater or Black Sky from the infrared detectors, devices that jam telecommunications (including our own, but not the mental link between Sun and Moon), and flashbang grenades.

Problem is that we cant spam Baleful Eclipse or that when we simply fly there we will be sniped. The Sniper is most likely on the hill because the towers give her "sight". Faraways plan has too many holes in my opinion. I will bring my plan tomorrow or Tuesday, it will quite a bit more complex.

Hm... I can see a few approaches that might work...

Problem with planning like this is that there are so many variables I prefer general, open-ended plans, rather than detailing every little thing.

Anyway, approaches. Some of these are simpler than others.

Style:

1) Deceit. For all that we don't like it, World Eater makes for a good 'villain' type, and Black Sky does an even better job. Have the two of them chase a 'normal' Eva and Rico towards the base. Make it clear and obvious that there are two 'horror' MG's chasing them, as well; loud noises, black seeping around the ground, etc. Some chance of working, especially if World Eater and Black Sky manage to cause obvious, though slight, injury to Eva and Rico before they make it, and if they manage to damage the walls/towers some too? Cool. Once Eva and Rico make it inside they are to transform and knock out all that they can, ideally letting Black Sky and World Eater in too.
--Two problems with this approach, and their names are 'Hunter' and 'Soldier Supreme'. Black Sky's defenses are optimized for magic, and neither defender seems to be spell-focused, while World Eater would need to be in Caterpillar form in order to not be one-shot. World Eater or Black Sky dying is sub-optimal.

2) Clash. Two groups of MG's, that's Sun + Eater vs Moon and Sky, are fighting nearby, and that fight spills over into the base. Once inside, rinse repeat. Confuse the issue; have each 'side' blame mind control, etc; each side simply wants their sister back, that's all, and they're so sorry fighting spilled into the area, and etc. Don't blame any specific group - 'mysterious MG' who 'might be dead now, we're not sure' is an easy bet. Eva and Rico, of course, can communicate between each other to keep their stories straight - or muddle the waters more, depending.
--They might simply blow everybody out of the sky (figuratively), or at least try to.
--Decent shot at getting to meet Soldier Supreme face-to-face without her opening fire. At least until Eva and Rico are in the same room together and hit her with a, preferably leveled, Baleful Eclipse.

3) Aggressive. Start by blowing chunks out of the towers. The Northern approach is probably easiest for this one. Likely immediately triggers the bomb stalling timer. Also results in casualties on the other side. Immediately draw out the Hunter and Supreme Soldier.

4) Rapid. Get inside as quickly as possible. Fly in, preferably on World Eater's Caterpillar form, starting from as close as possible. Land, break in, and start knocking opponents out. Hunter and MG will need to get inside too; or just wait outside.

5) Sneaky. IR towers are only as good as the people manning them, after all, and non-transformed MG's look like girls - and with a little bit of effort, wild animals. No deceit here, not really, just four girls wandering into range. Immediately suspicious.

Direction:

North: steep hill blocks IR. Once in range - over the hill - we have a relatively short approach. Steep hill doesn't mean 'tall', but it does mean that it's hard to climb up or down Good for rapid deployment, especially as World Eater's Caterpillar form can fly faster than Eva and Rico - good if she can carry us down. Depends upon how much taller the hill is than the towers. Also good for Aggressive, even though I consider that to be a bad option.

East + South: Forest. Decent cover if we can pretend to be animals. Probably the best place to start Deceit from. Sneaky works here.

West: Plains. Good place to have clash 'run into', as that region is the easiest to see, and have it continue to drift towards the base. 'Sneaky' is also good here, as the four of them would be in visible and IR range for the entire time.

Expenditures:

Baleful Eclipse 3 -> 6, 30 + 40 + 50 = 120 xp. That should be enough to one-shot anyone that isn't a Contractor or White Glory.
Soothing Moonlight 8 -> 10, 80 + 90 = 170 xp. Brings Eva's heal to ~8k health at a time, enough for her to heal herself against concentrated efforts by the Hunter and Soldier Supreme for long enough to break LoS. Probably.

Neither Sun or Moon need better defenses, or better offense, at this time; it's mostly World Eater and Black Sky that are at risk from the Hunter and Soldier Supreme. Rico can tank the Soldiers shots on her Veil, and Eva has enough health to weather a full round of fire without issue.

...

I'm leaning towards something that's fast in and out, personally. Fewer things that can go wrong with it.

If my bare bones "plan" wins out, I'll be surprised.

Frankly, it's out there for two reasons - to have a "shitty plan" instead of "QM wings it" situation, and to point out a few possible avenues of action.

I'm not sure about the sniper being on the hill, because... Well it's not like they trust said sniper. Having her somewhere surrounded by nominal allies cum guards is a more likely situation.
I'm mostly sure that "Hunter" is going to be making hell for us inside the facility proper.

If there is a specialist/practitioner known as Hunter, destroy with extreme prejudice.
I still glance skeptically at the fact that this apparently doesn't conflict with the pacifism sub-goal. You'd think explicitly trying to murder someone would interfere with a goal of not murdering anyone.

Strength: "Look, I don't like it either. But I've actually heard about the guy before and he's too much of a threat to be left alive. Don't know how he does it, but he's good at hunting Magical Girls and if we get that chance... I don't want to have him around any more than is necessary. Think of it this way: the other other guys are just payed to shoot people who try to attack their country. That dude is payed to kill girls like us specifically."

...

Strength: "If they even pay him for it, now that I think about it. If you really don't want to do it, knock him out and bring him to Autumn."

Autumn: "Oh great, residue processing again..."

So what are people's thoughts on this idea?

  1. Grab devices that can hide World Eater and Black Sky from the infrared sensors.
  2. Sun and Moon approach the enemy base first to draw attention to themselves, making it look like they're trying and failing to enter the base.
  3. While the enemies are distracted by Sun and Moon, World Eater and Black Sky use stealth to enter the base from a different direction and attempt to complete the mission's objectives.
  4. If the detonation countdown begins, Sun and Moon stop holding back and begin clearing an escape route for the others.
