I say give the army to Klebier and send them to Austria to show them that reneging on their word is a bad fucking idea.

Also both Rob hunting actions.

Davout is already marching to help Massena in Italy against the Austrians. The other half of our Army, I think, is better used in defending against the Prussians, especially in the Netherlands.
I had imagined that the Army of the North would be reassigned to that already. I just wanna crush the Austrians extra hard and make a point that the French Empire takes oathbreaking extra seriously, and will shoot shotguns at people until they get the point and get off our fucking lawn.

'Napoleon is not in Paris, fighting for France against her Enemies.'

Did he leave?
He leaves immediately after the meeting to head out to save the North.
1. Do the four political Actions count as part of the overall Actions or are they separate?
They count as part of the overall actions.

2. Whatever happened to that Spy/Saboteur who was planted in our Army when we set off to Sicily?
He got killed by the Sicilians dying a heroes death in Sicily.

The Army of the North was disbanded when we ordered them to Stand down.

since all of the men were all drafted untrained conscripts they got to be sent home.

Also you may notice Dumas and his family are not part of the actions here… don't worry, they will be in Paris Next turn.

I personally would work on boosting her stats, compared to the other named characters, hers are a bit low. Especially her social stats if we are going to be Empress.

Aye. Telling people to eat cake would be bad.

Empress Duties… Are What Exactly?

Choosing an appropriate wetnurse should be on our list. And in time appropriate nannies.

The most important duty of an empress is to produce capable heirs, but Therese cannot focus on this due to needing to also play Joan of Arc.

Also both Rob hunting actions.

IMO catching Robespierre will be catching a poisoned chalice. I'd much rather discredit him, and move on.

If we caught him, about the only thing we could do is execute him, making him a martyr for anti-Bonapartists.

Or we do both.

Robespierre is too dangerous to be left alive. He has proven that time and time again. Discrediting him is not enough. We can't allow him any Chance to bounce back from this and become a Lenin to our Russia, so to speak.

We must kill him while we still can.

If we manage to successfully discredit him, Robespierre's death will not turn him into a martyr. It will merely be seen as a fitting punishment for the one who brought terror and ruin to France twice and the one to blame for giving the English the opportunity to form the Second Coalition (by plunging France into a second civil war at the worst possible time).
We will make sure that Robespierre will not go down in history as a man who sought to bring about a more equal government by any means necesary, but either as a power-hungry tyrant who abandoned all his pretentions of Freedom, Equality and Liberty the second someone insulted his rule or as the greatest traitor in French history. We shall ensure that his legacy will never be seen in a positive light, merely in a negative one.

I think Therese is slightly more aware of empathic thoughts then a Queen who was… never around common people.
Choosing an appropriate wetnurse should be on our list. And in time appropriate nannies
Good thing we have time, money and the ability to do some very good background checks.

hell maybe even promote one of the lads to babysitter.
The most important duty of an empress is to produce capable heirs, but Therese cannot focus on this due to needing to also play Joan of Arc
Why can't we do both my friend… sure it might drag us into an early grave but France will survive our death because of it!

Therese is not going to like it… at all once she's told she has next to shit in political power.

Shes not going to be satisfied being a glorified Baby maker. Even if she loves and cares for her children and her Husband.

I think rather than meeting the in-laws we should meet Madam Elisabeth. We are supposedly taking care of her niece and nephew, and she could help us out in our new more social duties just as the kids have.

So I'm going to be very critical of myself:

I wanted the Marmont scene to be longer and far more… well ambiguous, focus more on Thereses lack of social grace and reading people skills… rather then her immediately making that list puppy bow to her because of her rep and his wish to be a loyal knight.

I also wanted Dumas to appear and talk about his family and how he wishes the war could soon be over so he could be there for his kids.

but there is Always next update.

Well that is an idea.

the thing is, OTL he's really was that person who would do anything for liberty.

here in this messed up Timeline, not so much.

Charlotte and Louis do not like their aunt… mostly because she reminds them of the life they used to have, and that is a life they do not wish to go back to.

They don't like her.
So?
We are not asking them to live with her, we are just going to meet her. If anyone has the right to ask how they are doing, it is her.

Like I said, it is not about handing them over, but now that they are abroad, we could use a new teacher.

Still, i suppose we should meet her just to see what this is about. They don't like to be reminded of their past lives but that doesn't mean they should run from it .

Edit: Also i agree about needing new etiquette teacher. Plus women society, i want to meet them later as well .

Regarding Therese's power, well i wouldn't say she doesn't have any power, she is still commander with army loyal more to her than the Emperor (plus soft power and good reputation among the people) and that's more power than many royal women of the age can say they have, if they aren't ruler of their land.

Though i would like to say that if it weren't for Nappy i really don't see the reason for Therese not being able to take power herself, i mean i understand all that being conservative and keeping women from power , but let's be honest here we have example of women rulling the countries in both Austria and Russia and Catherine herself overthrew her husband and took the reins in Russia, so yea if Nappy dies we can easily get the power.

And even in case of fall out Nappy cannot divorce, or order us without serious consequences, we are loved by the people as well, we just need to play our political cards more carefully.

The only thing I shall say about that is she will think we are at least abusing Louis and Charlotte Based on our actions.

remember she does not know about what happened in Sicily.

Elisabeth, is among other things, someone who genuinely wishes the best for her two family members.

problem is, she thinks they will be best with a crown on their head.

We also unwittingly have a cult of personality, and are the most popular woman alive in the western world.

I don't think we will be divorced by Napoleon unless something really shitty happens.

and I mean, he practically abandons us, and shit.
