A part of me wants to be greedier and push for more but a more rational part says that is unnecessary. Besides making a show that we can be merciful is important and all that stuff.
Woke: Demand unreasonable stuff from the Sicilian King, potentially starting a war in the process.

Broke: Being unrcharicalistcly reasonable, and gain a reputation of making fair treaties that don't fuck everyone over.

Bespoke: Hippity Hoppity, Southern Italy is now my property.

So I need a Translation (In french) that actually makes sense for Davout and his boys because they deserve it:

The Steel Corps Forged in Fire.

Le Corps d'Acier Forgé dans le Feu

How ever, I believe the French would say

Le Corps d'Acier Forgé par le Feu

(ie The Steel Corps Forged by Fire.)

Edit: another option, which I feel would be more in line with French naming conventions (which tend to be shorter, I think) would be the Tempered Steel Corps: Le Corps d'Acier Trempé

One thing I think is lacking are, well, reasons for us to do things like being harsh to the enemy or demanding enormous amounts of money. It just seems like the only reason is to either be historically accurate, trying to role-play, or just to act like a huge dick. Would've been nice if the financial problems France was facing are mentioned. You know, the assignats being near-worthless, conscription riots, our trade getting cut off by the British, would've been nice if those were mentioned, give us a gameplay reason to try and rob a country as much as we can.

Thank you.

But I shall say this:

We're being paid money the people that we kicked the ass of, in reparations, which is helping with France's rebuilding efforts. We made that pretty clear with the rumor mills.

The reason there are not any conscription riots either before we left or after?: Before, France had seen victories and Amiens, which allowed them to regain their footing, and just you know, kick-ass and take names, plus Napoleon and co in Italy, despite Brian's protests, looted and pillaged their way across northern Italy, which was really good for morale.

The reason there was none before we left and currently now? The Army has been demobilized and that caused a stir. Hell, that demobilization, and the Government's inability to properly pay the soldiers going out caused Brian and Napoleon to now be in the place where they are now.

As for trade getting cut off by Britain: Well, who's to say they aren't doing that already, with us being not able to see it, because of the Rumor mill being not seen by us.

Plus, you never know when Reparations will be useful in maintaining the Army Wealth you need, and the personal wealth you may want.

That is two coups in two years, I don't really think that speaks much for stability in the country.
Never said the Country was stable.

Hell, One of France's National Spirits is Chaotic Government.

The Governmental front in France is dysfunctional as hell.

Still better than OTL.....
Is it sad that somehow, France has suffered more, yet less success in this timeline then in ours?

Cause that's what it feels like.

Chaotic Government: The State has gone through several governments, the people need Stability, or they may fall into the old ways. (Unknown Effect)

You know who we really need to save France? Pierre the unappreciated background character with the best background skills that was with Napoleon to the very end. The absolute legend Pierre was. XD

I mean... define won?

He just a good right hand man to Nappy B :V

Well Pierre got to kiss Napoleon for one. That alone is a win. Got to spend a lot of private time with Napoleon on islands. Then there is Pierre finally getting the attention and friendship of Napoleon. Far as Pierre is concerned he won. :V

Actually if Pierre is a thing wouldn't he see all the stuff Napoleon has of us?..... XD

Including the Erotica he's commissioned of us?

Yes... Absolutely. :V

.....Beautiful. XD

Pierre entered the room "Isn't this a little extreme sir?" Pierre said to Napoleon while look at all the posters of Therese.

Napoleon turns away from one of the posters to Pierre "You wouldn't get it Pierre. Now excuse me I need my Therese time." Said Napoleon while turning back to the poster. Then paused for a second while turning back to Pierre "Actually I think another book came out. Go get it Pierre." Napoleon said while turning back to the poster again.

Pierre looked down sadly "....Yes sir." Pierre said while leaving the room to get the new Therese book.

Yeah.. Davout needs to get promoted.

And Severin needs a vacation, because he's carrying the entire Corps on his back.

Meanwhile in Paris:

Brian: SHE DID WHAT!?

Robespierre: She forced the Kingdom of Sicily to Surrender in less than ten days and two battles. The Report from General Davout is also equally outlandish, and quite insane.

Brian: This can't be real... are you sure this is true?

Napoleon: You doubt your sister's ability to command?

Brian: Not her ability, the way she did it... in a storm! With nay a thousand casualties!? This must be a forgery! No one can do something as insane as this. And that is saying nothing about General Davout and his... Corps? Is that what it's called.

Napoleon: *Raises Hand* "I-"

Brian: You can't make something up like this even if you tried, Napoleon. Even with Pierre writing those papers of yours.

Napoleon: *Lowers Hand*

Robespierre: Well she is your sister, victory against impossible odds seems to be in her blood, same as yours, I hope that she is smart enough to try and send a representative of our government to deal with the negotiations.

Brian: Perhaps. but we have bigger things to tend to. Like our economy, and infrastructure.

Edit: THe Battle with Davout and the boys are almost finished.

Anyway it seems like Brian is having a hard time considering what we did along with Davout.

Napoleon was gonna say something but Brian apparently knew what but I'm drawing a blank.

Robespierre hoping we send for someone for negotiations. He not trust us to do it well, is it something else or both?

He thinks we're an agent of our brother and Napoleon, doing everything we can to consolidate power to our family and fiance respectively to overthrow the republic and start a Junta, and destroy everything that the revolution fought for, despite Brian doing everything in his power to prevent overreach of power of the executive (Napoleon in particular) and gave great powers back to the Senate to prevent such a thing.

But the consuls still wield quite some influence and Brian can really focus on some... good stuff.
