If your wondering why Canada and the Other colonies of the British Empire are not here? Do not worry, they get their own update.
The British must be sweating buckets over Canada. The United States of America has already taken over all the important Spanish colonies of Louisana and Florida. And now, people in the US must be dreaming of taking over all of North America as well as drive out all other European powers from the North American continent. Not to mention, there are a lot of Americans in Canada due to immigration, especially after the American War for Independence. And the loyalty of these new Canadians to Britain is not clear at the moment. Of course, in the RL War of 1812, the Americans get their asses handed to them by the local Canadian Militias and the local Native Allies of the British, which allowed the British to send reinforcements to Canada.

But at the moment, if War breaks out in Europe, there is little that the British would be able to do to protect Canada from a competent American invasion. At least, that is the perception in Whitehall. In truth, the American Military, mostly composed of militia troops is unlikely to stand up equally against British regulars.

The British are sending members of the Royal Navy to start wrecking shit.

And to make sure the Americans are going to do... absolutely nothing anywhere else.

Shit's gonna get fucked for everything, everywhere, and every Canadian is going to pull their GOOSE spirit out.

I would imagine that the British are already expanding their foothold in India, South Africa, and Australia. As well as entrenching their hold on the lucrative trade with China and Indonesia. Just because the French have won the war on the continent, does not mean that British expansion elsewhere has been halted. This is why the British are so OP. As long as the Royal Navy remains intact, the British Isles are safe and the British can even expand their power in lands beyond the reach of their continental rivals.

Well they might start to do some shifty shit coming soon that might involve us.

Traits:
The Bravest of the Brave:

Among a great many generals who have fought for France, you are the only one who takes a look at the situation that you find yourself in and make your displeasure known. You do it, not for yourself or for politics, but for your men, and France. (+10 to Charisma, +3 to Infantry and Cavalry. +50 to all rolls in certain situations that require the absolute courage of you, and you alone.)

Speaker for the Soldier:
For many in the uniform of the Revolution, the struggles and strife in Paris seemed as if on the moon. There were letters, and men skulking on orders of committees, but the enemies of France were many, and the battles fierce. Then the gravest sin any nation can inflict upon its common soldiery was inflicted: They refused to pay. With the choice of destitution or taking what belonged to you all in front of you... well, it was no real choice. (Unknown Effect)

The death of Democracy:
It had to end. They didn't leave any alternative. Dereliction of duty is a grave crime to any soldier, but more so to the men who lead them. Change had to be made, for the sake of those who gave up everything. And besides, was armed revolt not how things are done in these times of great tumult? (-20 to all rolls when working with Republican supporters. +20 to all non-Republican/Monarchist rolls.)

That reminds me that I want to max out charisma when we get the chance. Concerning traits, but we can guess he is on our side-(ish).

Michel Nay kinda just... showed up onto history here, and through charisma and care for himself and his fellow soldier, strode into the public eye as a hero to France's soldiery.

His experience in battle is limited currently, but his bravery, undeniable.

Oh and to anyone who might ask: I have finished Davouts and boys are... well they are in a situation.

What does Loot entail?
Quite a few things.

Reputation for your actions, Traits for increasing, decreasing, or otherwise set the value of what you may take, works of art, things that will give you a roll bonus within certain areas around Europe, like documents and backroom treaties that are in your possession you can use to blackmail, artifacts that can be given to the French State to allow it to gain prestige and national spirits that will help or hinder the French state. Among other things.

Oh and let's not forget, allowing you to pay the troops off without getting into Army wealth, and gaining money on your end as well.

War is very profitable after all.

Meanwhile with The Boys of Second Corps and the Reserves.

Davout: Why is there an entire army trying to kill me, and why are they failing so miserably.

Severin: Because they suck Sir!

Murat: We control every facet of the battlefield sir?

Chamans: That and they are trying to amphibiously invade us in the middle of a storm.

Davout: Who would be stupid enough to even do something like that?

*glances back at Thérèse doing exactly that*
Yeah, I wonder who :V
Davout is going to have an aneurysm when he reads that report.

And complain a lot about that situation, saying we are stupid and need to do things sensibly, regardless of the rewards that may be gained because of that.

Louis Nicholas"The Iron Marshal" Davout, is commander of the second Corps and is leading in an attack on the vital port of Messina, to cut of Naples from the Island of sicily.

Ah so one of our guys we sent to basically take control of this island and cut it off from Italy. Thanks for reminding this poor old soul. XD
