I eventually decided to use ideas from fiction to help me with the problem of magic.
With my strength far from recovered I couldn't undo the seal that the brothers placed on mankind when they left.
Not to mention the Mana in the air is so thin since it not been long since I took over.
Not just that. The previous magic system was so powerful. Far too powerful, even a child could easily wrought destruction of they tried.
Not to mention that people don't believe in magic anymore and there also needed to be a way to make sure that the power isn't misused.
So I took a book from Rezero.
There two major religions in remnant.
Those who worship The Brothers.
And those who belive in the existence of spirits of nature.
Faunus in particular had this belief.
Likely came from some of the action s the old man took when he was alive.
Regardless. Nature Spirits didn't truly exist in remnant.
So I was going to take advantage of that and create spirits using the idea from rezero.
These spirits would be able to form a contract with someone and enable them to manipulate an element depending on the type of spirit.
Though the spirit affinity will be tied to the seven virtues, chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility.
The more of each one has, the higher one's spirit affinity and the more easily they can communicate and call to them, and the easier it will be to form a contract with more spirits.
The Seven sins, pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth, on the other hand will act as a detterent for spirits. The more of each one is the more difficult it will be to commune or to call to spirits.
The two act as a balance. Too much sins and very little virtue would mean it would be nearly impossible for one to get a spirit to litsen to them let alo e to communicate with them.
Though once I do create them I wonder how I should introduce them?
