It Belongs to a Museum

Think I'm most interested in the Black Lion + either Businesswoman or Governor.

Businesswoman is a pretty straightforward combo. More Lustrian Beasts + a guy good at turning them into a zoo or other exhibit.

Governor unlocks a Patron and gives us access to Elven military relics, which fits well with the Black Lion also having an Affinity for Weaponry.

Of these, Businesswoman seems like the most likely to be one we can get later so long as we don't damage her position in the Citadel of Dusk, because it's not very controversial and is uncomplicated benefits for both sides. Things like Governor (or Princess) require going into things a bit more dubious.

I'm not interested in the mystery box of Widow at all personally. Feel it might do more harm than good for her ability to actually provide us with the things we want.

Ah, Bahr. Bahr the Betrayer. You had lost touch with him after he betrayed Copher for Arkhan, but apparently since then he betrayed Arkhan for the Lahmians, the Lahmians for the Tzeentchians, the Tzeentchians for the Skaven, and then all of the above to each other and to anyone else that would pay for the privilege. Six cults, four gangs, three Clans, and somehow a Beastherd tore each other apart in the streets of the wolf-blessed mountain-city of Middenheim as Bahr fled it with a wagonload of treasures and a headful of secrets. Now he's looking for somewhere to keep his things and pursue his studies in peace in between going out there to do it all again, and as it turns out, over his long life you're the only teacher he hasn't had reason to betray. You don't see any reason for that to change, as unlike the rest of them, you've never tried to dictate what your students do with the knowledge that you impart.

[ ] [STAFF] Ibn Naggazar
The world is such a judgemental place. Look, Ibn Naggazar's father had it coming. That Ibn used his father's skin to bind his masterpiece and his soul to fuel the magics within it was both justified and fair. And as far as you know the original copy of the Book has only consumed those that sought to remake a victim of the lad. And the copies? Copies of great books just seem to happen. You know for a fact that the Books of Nagash were crawling with magics that were supposed to make them impossible to replicate, but you couldn't go a decade without tripping over someone looking to add a new branch to that family tree, and more often than not they succeeded.

What Ibn Naggazar wants more than anything is a place to pursue his true passions of recreational alchemy and light daemonology without closed-minded authorities trying to kick down his door and forcing him to use and feed his book some more. Giving him a place to do so would be doing him a long-overdue mercy, and the world a perhaps undeserved one.

Where do you find these people, Paht? Are you telling me that these are your normal students?

I don't want to unbalance our main Contact's position in the Citadel of Dusk and therefore her ability to source us interesting relics. And I'm especially interested in getting the Citadel of Dusk as an outright patron. But any of the non-Widow options work for me.

[X] [STAFF] Bahr - Gets us necromancy for moving skeletons around, and some more 'wider world' knowledge in the form of Skaven and the Empire, plus I like the idea of having one of our old students around.

[X] [AELSA] Businesswoman - Makes what we've been using her for better, a no brainer. That and it feels kind of dirty to get her to do necromancy...

This plan is by no means a good idea, but it is very funny.

Benefit: Aelsabrim becomes a source of Elven military relics. The Citadel of Dusk becomes a Patron. Affinity will be decided by a future vote.

Uhh, the other vote has lots of options but this one isn't really contested for me. It's too soon for Widow. If we want a full splinter culture we gotta make a bigger colony, a bigger population of elves, and more need for additional Temples and other soul-guarding infrastructure that doesn't exist for the Colony because Ulthuan is just too far away.

Patron for the Library is also huge both mechanically and long term for both the empowerment/support of Citadel of Dusk from Awakening's end and the Governess' supporting things on our end

Literally any of them. They're cool.

EDIT:
It's a boney quest! Vote for what you want to see right this moment right now rather than waiting for a better moment!

Oh huh, this is a good point. If people want to do the whole "come to the dark side" with the Princess, we'd want her powerbase to be as strong as possible first so Ulthuan doesn't really have a choice but to tolerate her and there's more of an infrastructure that has the colony going along with this rather than wanting to depose the "mad princess".

It's legitimate salvage!

I like the idea of this and Princess best, but the benefits of Governor just seem a lot better.

I almost went with the Supervillain academy plan, but the suggestions of increasing Aelsabrim's political power before teaching her more Necromancy have won me over.

We have the Vampire Coast here to help her if it comes to it and returning as a the first cool Elven Vampire to retake the Citadel would be amazing.

On one hand I am fine with use doing the teaching

On the other I wish keep animals
