If we were going to Cultivate Audience locally, I feel like Lustria would make more sense than Lizardmen. Pretty much anything we get from Aelsabrim will have the Lustria tag, while the only reason Lizardmen applies to the skeletons is that Lizardmen tame them, which won't be the case for every animal in Lustria.

[X] Plan The Teaching and Never Ends

I see that in the thirty-odd years since we last saw academia's understanding of Lizardman society (Mathilde's interpretation of Lathruai's notes on their polypheny was revolutionary) that understanding has improved by leaps and bounds.

Or knowledge from the New World hasn't made it back across the ocean yet, I suppose.

I've tweaked the Museum Contents page to be clearer about what knowledge is required to improve your understanding of the various pieces. I'm not going to retroactively change how they were displayed during turn updates, but that is how they're going to be displayed from now on (or at least until the next time I tweak how it works).

Example:
Salamander Skeleton - Trophy, Lustria, Lizardmen
Partial understanding (requires: Lustria/Lizardmen/Reptiles, Alchemy/Bright Magic)
I see we also got a retroactive +1 interest, from the Palanquin counting as "Rare" and thus worth 2 :)

Booster Box for the Lizard Lords of Lustria Pack New
"What's up, Lion Butts, it's ya boy Uncle Paht! Back at it again with another unboxing video, this time we'll be opening a booster box for the Lizard Lords of Lustria Pack. I hope you're excited as I am to see what we get, and hopefully we can get a legendary Slann this time!

But first, let me tell you about today's sponsor! Do you ever look at a guy, and think "Wow, I hate that guy"? Do you ever wish you could have them killed, then have their souls bound eternally in service to a ghost ship? Just send a bat to Harkon The Sorcerer's Mighty Ziggurat, and you'll receive a response with 12 to 13 business days! Term&ConditionsApplyLuthorHarkonIsNotLiableForAnyInjuriesDeathsOrHauntingsCausedNorIsResponsibleForLossOfPaymentToPiracyPaymentMustBeDoneUpFrontOrWillBeDoneAtGunpoint

Alright then, let's get into it! Just need to apply my Van Hal Crowbar... 'ere we go... now! First we have, lets see... aha! A Saurus Scar Veteran. A simple collector would simply say it's a simple warrior, but we can tell from the size of the teeth... and the amount of bone scars... yep, this is a Veteran. That's a pretty good find, I have a few already but more are good.

Now, what else... ah, a skink, of course. Always one of those... Not even a Red Crested, hmm. Next, we have a... a Cold One? No, ooh, it's a Horned One! Rarer, and it's quite easy to mistake one for the other, in spite of the, well, it's a bit obvious... still, this will be good for the cavalry exhibition! If we combine it with the Scar Veteran, we'll have something special too.

Second to last... a Saurus, just a standard warrior this time. A shame, I still need a few Temple Guards for my Temple exhibition... and speaking of... for our last find... come on now Lion Butts, pray with me... oh Ptra and Usirian, bless us with fortune... grant us the gift of... a Slann!

Slann? No, its... another Skink. Why I oughta... oh hold on. This is... oh my, this isn't just a Skink, it's a Skink Oracle! They're very rare, probably the rarest non-character Skink you can get. Seems like he's come without his Troglodon... which is a bit cheap. Still, quite a find! I don't have on of these yet, so I'm quite happy with it, although if I'm honest I still would have preferred a Slann.

Alright, I've got to go put these all in storage and decide where they'll go in the museum! Next time we'll be unboxing a High Elf Horde pack, with a very special guest! Until then, stay fleshy, my Lion Butts! Peace!"

I do not apologise. Much.

what would the acquisitionist get/ anyplans on what to send them for? More pirate stuff, lustria stuff or centerpiece, necromancy? Someone capable of getting stuff from that lizard man crypt island would be neat.

On the everchosen discussion, I think it'd be hard to get stuff for all of them since at least half were doing their thing in Cathay, and also Archeon in fantasy is pretty lame yeah, though AoS Archeon is cool as hell
It's a shame that the pretty lame character of Archeon the Everchosen from Fantasy happens to share a name with the character with an entirely different personality, goals, and ideals of Archeon, Grand Marshal of the Apocalypse from Age of Sigmar

Walk me through what your expectations for that would be. The introduction has been made. You have a translator standing beside you. What sort of mutually beneficial arrangement are you trying to pitch to this Skink?

At first, I'd probably just try to set up basic relations and see if there is anything of us they want :
- Knowledge (soul and death magic might be tempting considering the current state of the Slann),
- Proselytising to us about the Great Plan,
- Help and information from us that might help them fulfil the Great Plan,

What I'd like to get is mainly lizardmen and old ones lore, and perhaps trinkets, relics and expertise eventually :
- Just being able to visit peacefully a Lizardmen city-state would be worth a ton if we want to investigate our Lizardmen artefacts by seeing similar items being used in everyday life,
- The capacity to go directly to the source if we have questions about lizardmen society and religion,
- Perhaps eventualy trading for more tangible things if we find things that they want enough to pay for.

But really, it's mostly the case that your last update has got me excited about the similarities between Nehekhara and the Lizardmen; the protagonist and the Slann.

We actually already have access to the island in question via Aelsabrim - that's where we got our current batch of lizardman relics - but there are limits on how much the elves will let slip out of there, in the interests of maintaining good relations with the lizardmen. As for what we should go for, it'll obviously depend some on who's available, but I'm fond of the idea of going for materials to let us split our current exhibit into two (especially if we can luck into a centerpiece skeleton before exhausting Aelsabrim's ability/willingness to procure them).

Just to make sure, cuz I know next to nothing about AoS...

Is the joke that its supposed to be the same guy, but he feels like an entirely different one due to to the way he is written? Or is this not a joke and its literal, they just reused the name?
