At the moment I want to buy Investigation to 5 with three specialty dots of Interrogating, and have Emma forced to stand in front of Taylor and explain 'everything.'

That or create a charm the branches from the lie detector that, instead of 'detecting' lies, forces the target to answer questions truthfully.

We can do that. The problem is how overwhelmingly Simurghish it is.

CEREBRAL PROBE INQUISITION
Cost: 3m;
Mins: Essence 2;
Type: Simple
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Factual Determination Analysis

The thought patterns laughably referred to as "minds" are laid bare before the Whispering Flame. Mentally framing a single question, the Infernal extends it into the mind of a character within (Lore x 20) yards with a crystalline chime only she can hear, rolling (Perception + Investigation) at a difficulty equal to the higher of her target's (Integrity or Essence). Success inflicts a vivisecting migraine that clearly stems from some outside force, provoking a burst of relevant memories in the target. For the rest of the scene, they suffer an external penalty equal to the Infernal's threshold successes (minimum one, maximum five) to any attempt to avoid answering that question (including resistance of appropriate read motive actions). If the relived memory is particularly painful, this penalty also applies to their next attempt to regain Willpower from sleep.
With Essence 3+, the warlock can spend a point of Willpower to share in those memories, thereby receiving an answer to her question as truthfully and accurately as the target could possibly have provided it, with no meaningful omissions. This also renders any relevant memory altering magic Obvious to her, though it does not convey the original memories. The target can deny the Infernal access to those memories by spending Willpower equal to the external penalty, a psychic block that lasts one scene.

Not that I am against the first paragraph, as that would probably be rather useful, but wouldn't Cerebral Probe Inquisition basically do the second thing?

Edit: Strangered

I wouldn't bet on anyone Exalting here. The pool of people is pretty low, and there's justifiable reasons for disappearances.

Would probably bet on Coil reflexively, but Madison is unimportant. :p

That explains a lot.

So it looks like Emma had second thoughts and tried to release Taylor, except Taylor was lashing out at random and nearly killed her.

Goddamit.

We're going to need to save the cheerleader.

Also what's with Taylor and having ninjas attack her anyway? Oni Lee, now Shadow Stalker.
Just left Black Kaze to complete the set.
And checking under her teacups
But I haven't even had a Sidereal show up yet.

What does it take to create a charm? Because we can buy CPI right now.
Basically, you need the prereqs, and a reason to do so. Not to mention figuring out the charm and getting your GM's approval for it.

SWLiHN finds your redundancy inefficient.
Not redundancy, upgrade.
After all, it can work for 'multiple' questions.

Edit: Oops, misread the charm. Thought it only worked on one question.

Should we look into purchasing Tragic Love Amusement and possibly Amorous Idol Obsession to track down Madison or do we have other means of finding people that we could purchase that wouldn't involve falling in love with what we are trying to track.

Well, we have Mother Before Daughter, but that would still required us to love Madison, so nothing is coming to mind.

She's not as bad as Emma, and she certainly doesn't deserve what Sophia will do to her. If she's still alive, that is. As long as she's alive, we can fix her. Medicine is one of our Caste Abilities, after all. THEN she can answer for her actions.

Since when? Let her save herself and fix herself.........I'm so tired of the bullies becoming friends after all the shit they pulled like it doesn't matter at all.

Wait, wait, wait. Guys, guys. We missed something really important here.

"Miss Barnes was found in the halls outside your locker in possession of a pair of bolt cutters, buried under a million-strong swarm of ants. If we had arrived much later, if Panacea had not been on her rounds that day, then she would likely have died, and we would likely have been unable to verify Miss Clements' claims."

We went through two arcs while having bug control powers without realizing it.

The question is, why.

What made Emma and Madison suddenly change their minds, and try and back out?

Did they suddenly realize this was going too far? That Taylor might die?

We already know. Experimented with them earlier. Took crabs home.

Thats what we want Madison for. To find out.

Also, Compassion compel not to leave her.

That bit where Taylor realized it was her fault? That was the control coin dropping. And

the crabs? We didn't control them. We carried them. We can't control crabs.

Actually without specialized charms exalted healing just makes us a really good doctor, not a miracle worker. We can't heal the unhealable or do much more than improve the odds of survival without specialized charms.

I...have no clue to what you refer. I can think of maybe two maybe three instances where any of them become Taylor's friend after they acted as they did.

Therapy has the fixed Sophia.

Nursing a grudge's Madison is...calling them friends might be pushing things.

Amelia has an Emma who breaks herself even worse and more fundamentally than the ABB did in an attempt to fix things between them. It still almost doesn't work.

I...BeaconHill had the one where Taylor became a hemokinetic and did vigilante work beside Sophia.

Ack's One More Trigger had Emma opposing the locker incident and staying friends with Taylor the whole time.

Outside of those, I'm having trouble thinking of a single instance of any of the trio becoming anything close to a friend to Taylor after the locker.

SirWill's Queen of Blood has Madison gain sort-of powers post locker because she feels guilty (it's more like vehemently disgusted with herself because she actually ended up killing Taylor) and she ends up kinda working with Taylor after she gets better.
