Hugh's Perfectly Normal Mafia Game Where Nothing Weird Happens Whatsoever

Wait. Nictis. You called that a bunch of rolls would be "vanilla in all but name" literally day one. How did you know that?

I'm going to have to step out of this game. After finally getting to meet some of my coworkers after a long period of online training I discovered that I'm not well suited for my first job out of college. I'm currently searching for a new job and will not have time play.

Don't worry about me I still have a job during the probationary period and I parents to fall back on after.

It was referring to myself, but also yes. This isn't exactly the first time I've spouted off things I should have no way of knowing that were true anyways.

Mmmm. Based on my own memory, I can't say off the top of my head how true or false that is.

This is concerning, see, because the reason I ask is because the people in the best position to piece together that this is secretly a bad setup mountainous on day 1 would be the only ones who are in communication with other players and able to crosscheck roles, aka the mafia.

I think I'm going to have to rescind your towncore card for now.

On review, I've said the important thing about my role anyway, so a full claim makes sense to me imo, and I do actually think there's utility in using role info to drive analysis here, if not the actual powers.

I'm the nexus. I can redirect one way from me to other players. That is, every night I pick someone, and any non-kill action hits them instead of me.

I've used it somewhat investigatively, hoping to redirect any attempts to look at me to players I'd wanted examined, Comi and LDJ. Especially n2 I felt that there was a fair chance a cop would prospectively hit me.

I think forcing a full claim at this point in time could be good, along with attendant explanations of how all active abilities have been used, but I'd like to wait for others to sign on before suggesting any more dropped knowledge.

What do "mountaineous" and "actually mountaineous" mean. I need this key to understand the recent posts, lol

Agree with LDJ. Nictis that was TMI as heck. There was no way you would know that there wasn't a cult in the game.

Hey Nicis Day 1 you said ComiTurtle was one of your scum reads. You thought one of he and Ori were scum, so you know Ori is town so why aren't you voting there? You should vote there.

Mountainous means a game with no power roles.

Which is why I don't quite like Wies this phase looking to place doubt on the mountainous construction of the game.

Seems then you got confused, Comi. I kicked off, albeit got unhappy with it, the speculation wheter this is mountaneous.

Hey Wies you should vote ComiTurtle

If I understand you correctly, your case is based on that one big post of Comi feeling tonally off compared with his earlier play?

Comi + Nictis + ???

How many scum are in 15 player games generally?

Town: LDj, Zae

@Wies yeah and I mean he's scum and pushed two MLs right?

Like I'm always right on my first elimination of the game. Like I said I'm really good. So just trust and elim Comi if you want to flip a mafia. Otherwise, well that's the extent of what I have to offer toDay, see you guys Day 4! I hope you elim Comi who is mafia!

Why would I vote Comi when Logos is scum?

The case for Logos seems to be: 1) Mafia should have already nightkilled him 2) Ori suspected him. That is a meh case for me.

At least the case for Comi has stronger ground in that he was decisive in getting Scia killed and pushed for Roach to be eliminated.

But I also don't like that one much. I would have argued right now for Chip if they didn't step out.

I think the elimination this time should be in between Lostdeviljo, Walker and Shadell. Because their posts don't feel like they are hunting. That is to say, they post more about powers and tend to answer with "vibes" when asked for suspicions.

As I said, the case for Logos isn't really founded on anything.

Correction: Logos is claiming to be a Doctor in a game that is filled with roles that reference other roles that do not exist. He was stated to be Ori's target for nightkilling last night. Ori was killed last night and Logos is still alive, while Logos is claiming to have attempted to heal you. Doctor is a role that would be able to interact with things due to only being reliant on another role killing people. Going by the trend of every role and ability seen so far, that leaves that either Logos is lying about his role and therefore is scum, or Logos is a member of the Mafia and so has no actual use in his ability.

We have multiple roles that reference Arsonists and nobody has yet been doused. We have multiple roles referencing a cult and yet there's been no sign of a cult so far. We have two roles that interfere with cop checks and no cops. We have a nexus that will redirect all actions other than nightkills. We have a Vig that required a second Vig to confirm the shot, but no second vig.

Doctor is the only role that stands out from this pattern because the doctor only relies on there being a nightkill to stop, which there has been.

Logos is scum.
