Hugh's Perfectly Normal Mafia Game Where Nothing Weird Happens Whatsoever

Iffy on your d3, role weirdness, living while highposting and, not just the delayed read but the immediately dropping your wagon instead of pushing. Feels like you're not actually hunting, just going through the motions.

and, not just the delayed read but the immediately dropping your wagon instead of pushing
There was a reason for that, as I already explained. And role weirdness? Is the Spy role that weird?

The rest, fair enough, not much I can change on my erroneous defense of Logos (that I did correct, but still). Can't also change the fact that the wolves let me live despite me talking a lot. Though note that lostdeviljho speculated on that before night fell and referred to that very speculation this Day.

If I was Scum, I would shoot Wies tonight, on account of they are basically the only remaining big poster. If they do survive, I'll find it suspicious the same way Nictis surviving last night would have been sus.
I am less confident in Wies' towniness than before simply because I had them pegged as the most active town member and that somehow did not get them killed at this stage of the game.

Since wolves do read our posts too I am pretty sure they have been influenced by that. It is just another one of the things that make me look askance on ldj. She could still be town, but I think if so, she would have been more inclined to keep that for herself that Day and then come out with it the next Day as soon I was alive. It does read as if she was preparing groundwork, planning that seed.

Hence LDJ remains my prime suspect, but there is uncertainty rustling around the edges and I can see myself flip flop to Zaealix or even Walker. If someone makes strong cases.

Seems despite the accusation of going through the motions, I do manage to draw out interesting reactions this Day, no?

Here's my thoughts:
I think me jumping the gun and going for Walker screwed the pot because it was basically a wild guess if this mountainous theory and the actual vote was made sans reasoning. So it reads more like me trying to get someone lynched as opposed to properly trying to deduce the scum.
The arguement with Wies probably feels Weird because I'm trying to defend myself without outright going 'I think you're scum'. And that's because it's iffy.
Personally?
Me missing the logic proving this game was effectively mountainous is not fun, to say the least.
But in a world where that's the case then fine.
Walker is…Somewhat absolved.
BUT!
That shoots Wies to the top of my scum reads, but that's mostly annoyance and a feeling of him doing lots of little shenanigans. Like there's something I don't like but I'm not sure what.
More importantly, I'm sufficiently emotional enough now to now have my head on straight…
Ah. Right.
This is the only post before this Day I found about Walker in your posts regarding suspicion.

That is your reasoning then.

And a few hours before that, you voted LDJ.

You jump around with votes and mostly argue about roles in a mountaineous game. You might be the better elimination after all.
The jump from LDJ is I got a response, and I was satisfied by that response:
Literally at no point have I ever claimed to be a Doctor. I am a De-programmer, aka someone who removes culting. I visited Nictis N1, then Ori N2, and frankly hjaven't bothered to send in an action since then because forgot to night 3 and then decided I can't be assed to send in actions that don't matter N4.
Now, recall the conversation THIS game day phase about this game being mountainous was directly in response to me being role-focused.
I can see the arguement for voting me. But unfortunately it's a case of me not really catching on about the Mountainous thing.

Frankly, this might be just a case of who you trust now, but Walker&Wies have been buddy buddy at least In D4 and D5 in ways that might make me think they both are scum.
But I've been focused on Walker too long and Wies has rubbed me the wrong way so that's a thing.

@Walker join? Or make an argument elsewhere?
I think the Wies vote is a mistake, and would definitely prefer Zaealix; while their direct response to your post was lackluster, they've expressed enough concrete concern over LDJ in the days prior that I took your vote as being in agreement with them rather than the reverse, and they were simply acting in line with the arguments they'd previously expressed, having justified their vote beforehand.

A few hours left, and I still have the most votes. Soon my bed will beckon me.

Well! I won't deny I made that mistake of defending Logos, but I think I did more prodding and hunting than Zaealix and Lostdeviljho combined. I also voted every day ('cept the one where it was a pretty much foregone conclusion with Seven) which isn't the case with Lostdeviljho.

I paid attention to interactions and did find suspicious stuff and pointed out, which isn't the case with Zaealix.

If this is lylo (which I actually don't believe) my death will be the loss of town.

I already answered the charges and explained why it all together is insufficient to kill me, I furthermore managed to prod Zaealix in a meaningful interaction and pointed out new suspicious stuff about Lostdeviljho.

I don't know what more I can say, except that you shouldn't eliminate me.

But if you want to ignore the rest of my post and suddenly forego all your suspicions of other players, then so be it, Shadell.

Feeling increasingly confident in Walker/Wies atm.

And now you are eliminating me because of among other stuff me pressure voting zaelix and then switching, which is a valid strategy. You asked why I was silent on that and then I rapidly answered.

You also never answered what is there so suspicious about a Spy role, Shadell. Isn't that again you echoing someone's else suspicions?

And the living while highposting is not only an echo of ldj, but also based on wolves' actions, and you ignore they might well do that to make me look suspicious.

I see most other players choose to remain in safe silence.

This is going to be my last post since it is now clear to me mafia prefers to have me languishing in this silence and won't act.

I can only say it is funny one of the charges was : "Hey, you are a highposter still alive? Mafia doesn't like that, so let's eliminate you."

If that is the logic you like, welp.

See ya, whether corporeal or spectral.

Because it still shrunk the pool of people to vote.

That's terrible logic. Like, by this logic town should never vote. Shrinking the pool only works if you expect that it costs zero votes and maximizes reasoning ability (that is, the closer to mylo the more meaningful it can be.)

And this is sus. Like, your actions don't match your descriptions. I asked for your reasoning ages before voting and you specifically declined to offer, then jumped ship's attention the first mention of a Sage vote with a little post-facto bit to agree. These posts read like justifications to cover a slip, not actual explanations from before the fact.

Annnnd a jump with no reasoning. I do not like this at all. It makes a lot of sense if Walker/Wies and relatively little otherwise imo.

@Zaealix join the wagon on Wies for self-preservation if nothing else.

Annnnd a jump with no reasoning.
Not to be blunt, but I've been expressing my reasoning for voting Zaealix for the entirety of this day phase. If I wanted a wagon, I'd have voted for LDJ and tied it, rather than adhere to the arguments I've made. Disagreeing with you on a vote doesn't make me scum, especially one as important as this, backed only by a single post of substantiation.

Admittedly, their current defense is not great, but that's a new townie trying to prevent lylo from going wrong, not scum scrambling for self-preservation.

Day 6 end!
After one more perfectly tense day, where god definitely did not get locked in any kind of dungeon, the town makes what may be its final decision...!

@Wies has been perfectly normally exiled. They were Perfectly Normal Spy, a member of the Perfectly Normal Town.

There's a moment of extreme tension as Wies's alignment becomes clear, the remaining citizens darting their gazes back and forth between eachother, suddenly certain that, with the mafia making up 50% of the remaining town, they're going to be jumped any moment...!

...But it doesn't happen? Wait, were we not at lylo? Apparently!

Despite expectations, Night 6 has begun! It will end in Sep 16, 2022 at 6:00 PM, after which there will be a one hour twilight period to deal with night actions.

Cooling in the crypt's clarity
cries out this descending spirit
raisers for all your hearts
and to discern, amidst life's confoundment,
the hiding, all-damning culprit!

DAWN OF THE FINAL DAY
The sun rises. The birds sing. Someone died in the night.

All Perfectly Normal.

@LostDeviljho has been Perfectly Normally Nightkilled. They were Perfectly Normal Deprogrammer, a member of the Perfectly Normal Town.

@Shadell
@Walker
@Zaealix

The three remaining citizens gather one last perfectly normal time. With suspicions running higher than ever, they may not want to wait the full day... If you wish to end the madness, you may include [x] Hammer in your vote. If a strict majority bandwagon is achieved, and all votes on it are [x] Hammer votes, the Day will immediately end.

In all likelihood, this will be the final day.

Barring this game turning out to be really bastard, we're probably at lylo. As it stands, I'm currently more inclined to vote Zaealix than Shadell, unless there's a very convincing argument to be made in the other direction - which I am, nonetheless, open to hearing.

Well. Simply put from what I can tell that was about me not really hunting/not accepting the mountainous nature of the game, and the resulting weirdness of what I was saying as a result.
Admittedly I'm still locked on Walker, if perhaps only out of self-preservation at this point-voting Shadell seems like it could just get me thrown out given Walker has similar reasons to not want to trust me after spending the last few days being suspicious of him.
