Hugh's Perfectly Normal Mafia Game Where Nothing Weird Happens Whatsoever

[x] Vote Logos

Because I have shockingly little engagement and no reads at the moment, I'm following Ori's original thoughts. I can second the concerns regarding role reveals because Miller and Backup are proper role titles but Roach claimed the Backup shows as Vanilla to him and my own role is not a proper role title, this is not the same as expecting people to flip as the wrong alignment however.

Or rather, afaict, they gave us the vanilla reading while backup was already public knowledge.

That is to say, I don't think the gap is very scummy, if anything it's very marginally towny as that kind of moderate jank in how roles work Vs described is a very common feature of games, if one easily faked.

Getting told they're okay being voted after poking even a bit is, likewise, a kind of non-engagement that feels specifically anti-town imo, though that may be more play style than anything.
Okay I gotta object to "poking even a bit" here. When the largest wagon is two votes, and we're two hours from EoD, even a single vote is meaningful.

[X] Vote Logos

I'm putting this up to challenge the Roach wagon on terms I prefer.

I'm not enthused by the current game state.

We are in a bastard game, my guess is that the game is effectively bastard in that the power-roles don't quite function correctly most of the time, based off of all the claims spewed out so far.

I will do my best to be more present day 3 assuming I live to see it.

I don't think Logos is a good vote, as the doc claim is probably checkable somehow and killing a doc isn't generally great.

I see the fears of arson mentioned in the early votes there? But that also seems to have been considered elsewhere as a viable mention even if no arsonists are present?

What is there to clarify? I made a fairly clar statement and you were like "I don't like that reasoning imma vote ya".

Generally town has an interest in surviving and persuading people to their reads. Scum, by contrast, cares more about surviving and a non-defense is often a deflection strategy to avoid conversation as much as anything.

OTHER PARITY VIG IF YOU ARE TOWN AND NOT A COWARD MEET ME AT LOGOS HOUSE.

And if Logos is dead I'm shooting Draxy.

End of Day 2
After a quiet day with a variety of interesting claims and some perfectly healthy paranoia - some might even say not enough! - a consensus is reached at the very last second, which is also perfectly normal. And once again, as per the perfectly normal tradition, one person has been singled out and exiled, sentenced to leave on the evening bus.

(the evening bus is not a reference to anything)

(there is no dungeon full of exiled people)

(just a normal town)

@RoachTV has been Perfectly Normally Exiled! His role was Perfectly Normal Coroner, a member of the Perfectly Normal Town!

Night Two begins now, and will end in , after which there will be a 6-hour twilight period for night action resolution before Day Three begins.

(Tonight's flavor brought to you by @Shalmoa !)

Community Council 2022-2023 Election Voting

As your candidate for Councilor, I believe we must move forward, not backward. Upwards, not forwards, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom! Until cats can finally admit that the war on string might be un-winnable, I find it hard to fully support them. Nevertheless, I hope...

vote for me for council dab.

no morbophobia.

Well I suppose that's not the biggest surprise but Hunh.
Anyhow, I didn't find my targets last night so that's fun.

Well, that's weird. I wasn't expecting to be alive now, after Ori declared they were aiming a parity vig at me and spelled out what that meant this time.

I think we're currently in one of two worlds, in relation to night actions. Either one of Ori or the unknown parity vig aimed at someone else, which seems like a weird decision after Ori's post, unless they did so intentionally to make it seem certain that I'd be vig-killed and thus wasn't a good nightkill target. If that's so, thanks.

Or we have a protective somewhere who disagreed with the kill, in which case thanks? I'm not sure that I'd have made that decision in your shoes, without being certain I was town, but it's appreciated.

For my own night results, Wies needed no healing last night. Another miss, but what can you do? No, seriously, if anyone has a better idea for targeting than healing semi-randomly among the top three posters not currently suspected of being scum*, I'd love to refine this and actually catch a nightkill.
For later reference, my selection list last night was Wies, Ori, and Nictis. I don't recall it precisely N1.
