Hereafter [Worm x Fate/Grand Order]

I can understand that.

But, at the same time... Well, you'll see next chapter what exactly this will even mean for her combat potential and such.

Honestly? Not much. As written, Servants can ignore the bugs unless somehow she can make them work on ether-bodies. What they'll be useful for is keeping track of battlefields and multitasking. That's not to say she can't mix and match magecraft and her powers somehow, but unless you go that route this doesn't change much for her immediate firepower.

As a support? Now that's different.

Not sure I like Taylor getting her powers back, and so soon at that. Maybe it's just the minimalist in me, but IMO Taylor really doesn't need her powers to be interesting and relevant to the plot. And, even if getting her powers back was always supposed to happen I definitely think she should have had to struggle longer without her powers so that her getting them back becomes a big deal.

Realistically it's not going to change much except giving back Taylor her limited omniscience, uncanny aiming ability and most importantly her ability to multitask like a BAMF. She's not dealing with Parahumans anymore, she's dealing with stuff like Phantasmals and Servants. Mere ordinary bugs aren't going to hurt them at all, or really even distract them that much. Tactics she used to defeat people like Lung or Mannequin aren't going to work at all in the Nasuverse. If she gets a hold of some of the Blade Wasps in the Zero Accel Order event that will be a different story, but otherwise she's not going to be doing much directly with her bugs.

Now the changes are live.

Thanks!

Huh
If Taylor summoned at the first try on Fuyuki buy the Servant couldn't form a connection or form no because Taylor but because of what is
I mean that Taylor summoned Pale Rider/Pestilence and thanks to the Rayshift it gained some knowledge of how to manifest best for Taylor?

Maybe the first summoning actually did something like some speculated and summoned QA. Maybe the fact that there was nothing living in Fuyuki and Chaldea was magically sterilized of any bugs or something meant that she just never had any bug to control before now.

Wouldn't Taylor have noticed the drain in her magic during her off time back in Chaldea?

She is going to summon a Canon Servant per James' previous statements, so no she didn't summon one of the 4 Horsemen.

Yes, yes she would have. Also she'd have noticed the very obvious set of Command Seals, or the pain that comes with getting them. So no she hasn't summoned a Servant yet.

In the strictest sense, Pale Rider is canon via Strange/Fake. He/They/It (because it's more a magic plague than a personage) is the False Rider of the True/False Grail Wars.

EDIT: Hassan'd.

OK but like to remember that Pale Rider is canon
He is the False Rider in Strange Fake

Fair enough, still not going to be him though. Compatibility wise if we're going to take her Parahuman ability as a connection point it would summon someone like the Pied Piper or Moses. Most likely Moses, as that would certainly be one of their abilities or Noble Phantasms. For all that she terrorized people she didn't actually kill many people with her bugs, and the weight of Alexandria's death is much too weak given how she was acquitted of that charge.

Sooo if Skitter was a servant what would be her class?

Berserker. People don't remember Taylor for being the warlord of the bay (a shithole city overrun by crime that no one really cared about in the grand scheme of things). People remember Taylor for being the girl who went bugfuck nuts and killed Scion. While also mastering the multiverse as a side job to it all.

WE know all about her and what she did, and why she could qualify for the other classes. Worm was her story. But in universe people only really remember Taylor as the girl who filmed the Endbringer fight. Maybe a couple know that Slitter was Khepri, but I doubt it. Everything went to shit during GM.

It's a matter of fame and what you would summon because of that fame. What's more important in the grand scheme of things, ruling a crime ridden post leviathan city, or straight up killing a god during multidimensional warfare?

EDIT: Just saw that it was Skitter in the question. Not Taylor. That's what 2 hours of sleep does to ya.

He must have snuck into one of our coffins." Mash reached up and gave it a scratch behind the ears. "Fortunately, that means he'll come back with us when we Rayshift out of this Singularity,

Of course that means someone will wake up, trapped in a coffin, with Primate Murder.
Chances are Taylor will be the "lucky" one?

the French would be suspicious of strangers showing up out of nowhere for any reason, let alone something as ludicrous as correcting historical inaccuracies.

"We're here to correct historical inaccuracies."

"You want to correct the books in library?"

"Not exactly."

"Oh! You're here to get the king's recognition of a past crime!"

"Not really. It's more of an ongoing correction."

"But we're in the present?"

"About that..."

Well, even with the connections cut... the fact of Rayshifting and the medical treatments she has been given might have re-established Taylor's Coronas.

In which case, QA welcoming her precious Host back is really awesome. And gives Taylor even more help. Something she needs.

Looking forward to seeing if the summoning works this time. Though I've wondered if, when she summoned the Servant the first time... it didn't appear on QA's alternate earth instead. And has begun to help.

You know…. I wouldn't be surprised to find out QA washed up on Avalon and Merlin fucking around trying to fix the problem was the reason her summoning went wonky in addition to not being Mash's Master. Sounds like something he'd do.

Honestly I hope they eventually get along, cause Fou's awesome. Dangerous as fuck, but awesome. It'll probably be a while, maybe even not till the Seventh Singularity where they'll inevitably bond over punching Merlin in the face.

Huh, so QA (or a Foreigner projection thereof that's not even pretending to be human a little bit) is physically present in the Singularity's sky? And Taylor doesn't recognize it, so I'm guessing she was never told her passenger's true body's size.
No, what they're seeing is the "ring of light"-slash-"hole in the sky" caused by Ars Almadel Salomonis, that… pretty much defines Arc 1 of F/GO.

Taylor could potentially be a few different classes if summoned as a servant, Assassin and Berserker being popular examples. Personally? I think Foreigner would fit best.

This is amazing. Gotta wonder, will you go all the way? As in, even lostbelts too?

James has said maybe, but doesn't want to commit to it before the end of CitLB. Personally I hope he does, but we'll have to see. This is going to be a very long project as it is, and he'll need to cover at least some of the events given their importance to the story. Moon Dango is probably not one of them as an example.

I really look forward to Taylor meeting Gilgamesh, myself.

She and he are going to have !FUN! together.

Really liking the story so far. No Idea if its related or not but I figure that the rings in the sky are related to sudden return of Taylors powers. If I am remembering right they are all linked to the 7th singularity which is outside of time so some shenanigans with the connection might have occurred
The rings are entirely from fgo, they have nothing to do with QA or taylor whatsoever.

Even if it's entirely taylor and not just skitter, taylor is also known as the one who killed alexandria, and became an actual major hero for a while, like, she's not some nobody, she's semi major actually. One of the few unmasked capes, former villain, killed alexandria, joined the wards in a big event to reform the prt (even if that was quick to flop, she was still the face of that move, which publicly was a success) and then comes the endbringer footage, repeated endbringer battles and eventually the s9000 and gold morning. Also, in ward we see that most capes keep quiet about khepri. Most people just know that capes fought or some master forced capes to fight, capes really just got hit hard by the trauma and pettily hold it against her enough they won't speak up about her, only a few are truly in the know, like imp and such.

No, that is Ars Almadel Salomonis. The third Noble Phantasm of King Solomon. The "|" of original sin. At a first glance, it looks like a ring of light that encircles the Earth. In reality, it is an aggregation of hundreds of millions of beams of light, cast over the satellite orbit and with a size close if not equal to that of North America. Each one of these lines carries extreme damage values comparable to Excalibur, an A Rank Noble Phantasm. The band of light is made up of all the Magical Energy gathered from Earth and the entire era where it manifests. Thus, there is nothing on the surface of the Earth that surpasses the heat value of this Noble Phantasm. It is for this reason that it is ranked as an Anti-Humanity Noble Phantasm. According to Corrupted Ushiwakamaru, this Noble Phantasm has enough power to destroy the Sea of Life and rival Tiamat.

Why Taylor has recovered her passenger? No idea

Sooo if Skitter was a servant what would be her class? I'm not versed in Nasu lore but I feel Skitter can count as either an Assasin or Ruler depending on how one interprets her bug control and fighting style.
Of the standard 7 classesSkitter's aligns well with Assassin, Caster, Rider, and Berserker. She could also count as an Archer but that would probably be her least synergistic class. Of the extra classes Ruler and Foreigner are the only classes she could possess.

Assassin is very easy to see would probably focus on the use of small amounts of highly poisonous bugs and bug clones. Also presence concealment and independent action both fit well with her.
Rider because while all forms of her would have some riding skill due to her experience with Bitch's dogs and the flying machine that Defiant made her, she also has decent charisma. Also Atlas would make a hell of a Noble Phantasm.

Caster due to her skills if Item creation and control of familiars. It would also be cool to see how an author could adapt Territory Creation into her Skillset.

Berserker because she killed Alexandria and Tagg when she lost her sainity and losing your sainity sometime during your legend is all that's required for the Class.

Archer which while the least synergistic class I believe would fit her because she would possess a Clarvoyance skill and the fact that two of the most personal kills she made involved a gun. As well as the fact that she is an acceptable ranged combatant.

First of the extra Classes would be a Kheplr like Taylor with a loss of ego, not much to say here.

And Foreigner because she is connected to an outer god like organism.

Please let it be Moses, when they have to deal with Diomandias he will help quite a bit.

ok, Foreigner Servants are not only connected to Outer Gods. Foreigner is a designation given to Heroic Spirits who draw their power from outside the sphere of human consciousness, often from unknowable Outer Gods of the sort described by H. P. Lovecraft and others, and have the potential to overturn the base laws of the world.
Basically, anyone from the Servant Universe could class as a Foreigner, simply due to the fact that they are aliens. Foreigner Taylor is connected to a "plain and simple" Alien....yeah, Entities may be powerful but Outer Gods are on a whole other league than the Worms. Heck Voyager only qualifies for the Foreigner class due to the probe being beyond human grasp.

Yes, yes they will. I'm expecting him to pop up sometime soon after Orleans now that Chaldea has started to use Mash's shield properly. Chaldea is quickly going to be very full given how they're sort of not connected to Earth so Servants can gather much easier. If I remember correctly the Casters from the Age of Gods can perform spatial expansions so space won't be a big issue once Medea turns up.

Khepri in Babylonia was actually one of the alternate ideas I had for this story. "Taylor-with-a-prosthetic in Chaldea" is the idea that won out, though.

I'll be honest I'm glad you've gone this way.

Please let it be Moses, when they have to deal with Diomandias he will help quite a bit.

We don't know much about him so it's highly unlikely.
