Hereafter [Worm x Fate/Grand Order]

The thing you have to remember is that the dream cycle generally only works one way. Servants don't need sleep. They don't really sleep at all, not when they don't have to. Saber slept so much (and saw so much of Shirou's backstory) precisely because she was conserving energy. That, and she was still technically "alive." Regular Servants only sleep when they feel like it.

Is it canon or fanon that the servants of Chaldea need to sleep and eat to limit the resource drain on Chaldea?
If it is canon you could just say that that is when it happens.

I mean, Olga being within the FATE system could lead to her becoming a Psuedo Servant. I always liked the idea of Icarus joining up with her.

Clearly she's an Assassin whose Presence Concealment allows her to appear like a regular human.
You joke, but there are skills that would accomplish that.
Case in point that is exactly how Dr. Jekyll canonically works.

And the events show that servants have their own rooms, and they tend to sleep because they can relax in Chaldera unlike a Grail War as they don't need to be constantly ready for ambush.

"It's not talent," I said. "Ophelia, Kirschtaria, Kadoc, they all outstripped you a dozen times over. It's not pedigree — Wodime alone was more qualified than the rest of us, if that was what mattered. It's not courage or wisdom or anything like that. You just happened to be at the right place at the right time to do the right thing."
Taylor: The true difference between a normal person and a Hero is-
Rika: PRESENTATION!?
Ritsuka:*facepalm*
Taylor: ...timing.

you should have about two weeks to prepare yourselves in whatever way you need
Ha, it syncs up to reality, nice.

Have a good vacation @James D. Fawkes. Writer's burnout is not good for anyone. Is good to take a break every now and then.

Lets not forget that when Olga viewed Taylor's history Da Vinci probably got a copy if the recording because that is exactly something she would have back ups for. That way she can show it off when Taylor finally tells her story.

I'd agree except that unless I'm misremembering, or Da Vinci was very sneaky sneaky and has backups that Marie doesn't know about which is a distinct possibility, Marie deleted all of her recorded viewing of Taylor's exploits in Sheba in order to leave no proof behind. Which is probably why Taylor didn't get a bomb planted inside her Coffin, because if Lev had access to that knowledge he would absolutely have made sure to kill Taylor. And he certainly wouldn't have let her leave alive from Fuyuki.

Da Vinci being sneaky sneaky was exactly what I was talking about, especially as:
1. Her Nobel Phantasm is running the systems, so the data would likely pass through it.
2. She doesn't exactly like Olga's father and would have set up monitoring on Laplace, especially set to notice anything being deleted. She's also pragmatic enough to have left it 'just in case' after he died.

Taylor should probably be asking if she can't get her Chaldea Master mark situation cleared up on screen too, only to be told that they've got no clue why it isn't working. Then she can be forced to rely on Contracting the local Servants in the Singularities.

But don't forget Contessa's message. Save her life and get the strongest Master, or save her body and get a catalyst for the strongest Servant.
But Taylor is alive, so logically any Servant she summons without an Catalyst has the potential to be an alternate version of her, like Skitter, Weaver and even Khepri.
And the Throne of Heroes is not connected with the timeline, so the fact that Taylor is still alive should not prevent her from summoning one of those.
Even more, Earth Bet could be considered a Lostbelt, and alternates of Taylor could be Lostbelt Servants. And Those are seriously above average compared to those of Proper Human History (or is that only in their own Lostbelt?)
And considering the events of Ward, wouldn't Khepri get some kind of Fame Boost?

Even think what possible Classes Servant Taylor could be:
Shielder: That one is for Mash... But considering she went out of her way to protect the people of her territory? And what she did to try and stop Zion? She should qualify from that effort alone.
Saber: Doubtful, since she definitely doesn't really have the Knight personality. She did have a Nanothorn Knife at some point, so maybe that qualifies?
Archer: She prefered to fight from a distance. It is not her fault that she ended up in close combat far to often. And considering the weird things Archers can fire, a Servant capable of shooting insects isn't that weird... Santa Altera shoots sheep, and Summer Jeanne shoots dolphins... Oh, and the typical Independant Action is a good fit as well...
Lancer: Battle Continuation. Nuff said. And she did wield Armsmaster's halberd when going one-on-one with Leviathan.
Rider: Didn't she have a giant bug to ride on called Atlas?
Caster: With her bugs she made Spidersilk costumes, and those were of rather impressive quality. That is enough to get the Item Construction skill. And she is pretty mucht omniscient in her territory, thanks to her bugs. That should count for Territory Creation.
Assassin: Well, she did try to fight ranged and unseen, and she spent quite a lot of her time as a cape trying to make sure certain people died. And considering what she did to Lung on their first meeting? (It was still Armsmasters fault...)
Berserker: She is a parahuman, and a natural trigger. All of those are slightly insane by definition. And considering what happened to her as Khepri? Definitely qualifies.
Ruler: Khepri. If she doesn't qualify as a Ruler, then they should hav named the Class differently.
Avenger: Khepri. She did bully Zion to death... And that is definitely revenge for all he did during Glod Morning.
Moon Cancer: This is supposed to be a BB-only class. But is Jinako possessed by Ganesha counts, then the Taylor & QA has to count as well.
Alter Ego: Near the end Taylor and QA were so linked neither could tell where one ended and the other began. So Queen Administrator should qualify as this Class.
Foreigner: She did have a link with an Alien in her head. OK, She is probably closer to MHXX, MIXA and Voyager than to the typical Lovecraft-types, but still...
Beast: Like Foreigner, she did have a link with an Alien in her head. If the Alien God can be a Beast, then so can Taylor & QA. Especially with the Fame Bonus Khepri should get from Earth Bet.

So, IMHO, any alternate of Taylor can be pretty much any Class. Even if some of them are pretty much a stretch...

Moon Cancer: This is supposed to be a BB-only class. But is Jinako possessed by Ganesha counts, then the Taylor & QA has to count as well.
Don't forget Kiara managing to worm her way into it!!
I'm honestly hoping the lower-ranked Servants get more representation in this, and I can't wait to see how this goes forward with Taylor and Olga; it might just be my imagination, but for some reason I get shipping vibes between them. It probably is just my imagination, but I just think they'd be adorable together!!

James has said that we won't know the reason for the failed summoning until at least Babylonia, so she'll probably be able to summon Servants on her own.

Moon Cancer: This is supposed to be a BB-only class. But is Jinako possessed by Ganesha counts, then the Taylor & QA has to count as well.
Ganesha has it by way of BB being the one who pointed Ganesha at Jinako as a host, while Kiara has it by essentially copying BB via haxx. It really is just 'a thing BB can do because she's an AI overlord from the moon and felt like it'

@James D. Fawkes, gotta ask; are there gonna be individual Singularities (re: Events) where only one of the three will be able to deploy?

Because just from this (very early) chapter, seems as though Ritsuka may be able to soldier through, the same can't quite be said for Rika.

And as amusing as Riyo!Gudako hijinks could be (IF kept to limited examples thereof), she really needs to be more than just 'the sassy one'.

Rika shook her head, face drawn into a rictus of fear. "I'm not like you, Senpai. I'm just seventeen."

I didn't even need to think about it, because I already knew the only thing I could say to that.

"So was I."

When it all fell apart, when everything started to crack, when all the holes finally started showing —

When the world ended and it seemed like I was the only one trying to save what was left of it.

"I didn't let that stop me."
Are literally NONE of them going to ask? That seems like a big thing to drop and then never have it come up again🧐

So, Olga's in the middle of an existential crisis, then? As in, her existence is in crisis until they can resolve the current "missing" status of her body?

Sounds legit.

Not gonna lie, when I saw the title of the chapter I hoped that Karl would make a cameo in the story because "Monolith" is the name of one of his NP If I remember right.

In this chapter, Taylor use her Charisma rank to do an epic call to become a Hero and save the world.

And now I really want to know what Da Vinci think of her with the pieces of the puzzle she have : powerfull master (so big karma), past unknown from everyone, arrived with a lot of wounds, friend with Olga Marie, wasn't knowledgeable about magic until she was formed by Chaldea, unphase by all the Fate bullshit happening, behave herself like a veteran and imply she already save the world in the past before being 18.
It really look like the backstory of a Hero with a great H but so much unknown to really make sense of it. She must be mad with speculations about TayTay.

If I translated that into powers as I knew them, that would mean there shouldn't be any minions without a Master to spawn and control them — no goblins without Nilbog, no ghosts without Crusader, no evil clones without Echidna. That was what made sense to me.

Of course, that didn't mean magic necessarily followed the same logic, as I'd been learning for the past two years.
Rereading, it's nice to see Taylor isn't confining her ROE to her universe's rules. I get it in other fics, it makes sense and is ingrained. It's just odd and always feels like she's limiting her mindset or something.

Uh, no? Like an alternate timeline is not the same as a lost belt, like a lost belt is a timeline that's supposed to have been pruned from existence due to stagnation, earth bet is not an example of that. And generally, a lostbelt servant isn't innately stronger than a normal history servant, it's just the servant summoned is often from the land the lostbelt takes place in, even a normal history servant from that land would benefit.

"Naturally, I can recorporate the Director, once I have the necessary materials to build her a replacement body! H-however…"
Can we just upload her to the computers
Or a toaster
Unfortunately, this includes the human soul. Think of it sort of like the aging process — the longer you live, the more your soul is weathered.
Side effects of immortality may include:
Blood drinking
Madness
Turning into a horrific worm monster
Boredom
Misanthropy
And nausea
Do you think the Director would appreciate being stuck looking like a twelve-year-old version of me?
I'm slightly worried you have that
I didn't realize you knew so much about puppetry in magecraft, Doctor Roman,
Dr.Roman does know a lot doesn't he
You were killed by incompetence and your own foolishness! And like the worthless trash you are, you will all be burned away!"
Wow that sounded very personal
I don't see why he's so angry at Roman
No, no, no, this is crazy! I-I'm just a kid! We're just kids!"
Sanity and Claldea are mutually exclusive
