Hereafter [Worm x Fate/Grand Order]

I'm afraid I don't remember much of Okeanos. Oh I remember the highlights, Drake has a Grail but not the one making the Singularity, Euryale and Asterios and their familial/psuedo-romantic relationship, I remember a lot of Wyverns, Blackbeard of course (and I truly hope Fawkes goes with the modern interpretation of him, or at least knows what he wants to do with him, i feel like early game writing wasn't solid on Blackbeard's character until after a couple of summer events) plus Anne and Mary, and the Greeks hijacking the plot at the end, which sounds like a lot, but I can't help but feel like I'm missing a lot of the in between stuff.

yeah, I feel like the most intuitive way this would go down is they fall into the ocean and freeze to death (or spend days wandering in circles) because even with the servents keeping them from sinking, they don't have anything that would keep the water from sapping away their heat.

....and thats assuming their servants don't eventually tire (because they clearly CAN tire in the shows).

no idea why they diden't have a plan for this.

...well, at least they didn't splash down into the ocean. That's something, right?
Absolutely! They didn't land in, on, above, or beneath the ocean. They even have a handy-dandy pirate ship right under their feet ripe for the keelhauling. Couldn't have gone better.

…seriously, Okeanos is probably the best Rayshift Chaldea's ever done. They don't go for a swim, immediately acquire a way to get around, and swiftly get a lead on where to go next. It's especially impressive considering how screwed the Singularity's geography is. Had they landed almost anywhere else, save for Pirate Island, they'd either be drowning in the drink, drowning in monsters, or in combat with a Servant. And stranded no matter what.

"Oh hey! We found a ship immediately!"

After the initial hostile posturing and more probable bouts of superstition, at least we won't be spending a chapter or three simply looking for better transportation. Also fits the better comedy found in the setting.
I say better because most of the comedy in the original story run at best makes me sigh and at worst makes me frantically skip entire events worth of dialogue.

Suddenly DnD fiend race someone make a stat block
they are giant sloth like creatures with a supernatural black hole 'singularity' in their mouths, the skull is 8 feet from top to bottom, about 35 feet in length, always laying down
when they open their mouth they suck in magic, spirits and the like and non secured magical items.
slow to move, but very thick hide. Large, sharp and strong claws but only a small area they can damage with their slow movements.
too dimwitted to be affected by mind tricks and charisma.
Only notices someone after at least 10 minutes.
used as passive guards, both to guard treasure and keep magically inclined prisoners docile

don't play DnD so I have no idea what a proper statblock would look like

I can't say I remember my time on those Singularity since when I first joined in, I somewhat focused on Events and leveling up my Servants. From what I could remember, I brute forced my way through Camalot.

Marie jerked, and her head swung around to look at me.
Man, even Marie doesn't believe you're not writing a ship fic.

"Hey, Doc! You've got some explaining to do!"
"You must have changed something in the past Marty!"

Isn't 'Gold' something close to that? She gets eaten by QA though, being stuck in a situation like Beast III L/R. Probably not quite it.
Au contraire, for we have the answer from the author himself!

Taylor's Lostbelt would be Code Geass. A LB where America lost the Revolution and Britain conquered the continent, where the British Empire never collapsed, and the LB king is... I dunno, Benedict Arnold? King George? Can you tell I'm not taking it too seriously yet?

Skintight, with swooping symmetrical stripes in black, white, and orange that contoured around my torso and my limbs.

I did a google search to remind myself about the uniform they are wearing and I don't understand why the black stripes are mentioned as stripes? They look like a harness that is being worn over the uniform itself? Similar but not exactly like the type for mountain/rock climbing?

Now this part, I can understand about the difference in perspective but the uniform also doesn't look like it is thin like spandex showing off the body. But it is probably more leather like and padded than what most people would expect. However, converting a 2D drawing into a different medium (especially when the drawing isn't super realistic) will definitely lead to different interpretations.

So the only part that I'm not getting is the harness portion but that is just me.

You have to remember that these arent any of the uniforms from the game. This is a new one created using the remains of Taylors spider silk cape outfit as a base combined with reverse engineered tinkertech and Fate magecraft.

Playing Devil's Advocate for a bit here, but... Rika* is the anime otaku, whereas Taylor hasn't been implied to be into fiction outside film or literature, let alone anime that might be Aleph-exclusive and has not aired on Bet.

* - Also possibly Ritsuka, at least where the mahou shoujo genre is involved, going by a near-throwaway line in this most recent chapter:
"Like a magical girl transformation sequence," added Ritsuka.

...

"A…magical girl transformation sequence?" asked Bradamante. She looked to me like I had any better idea what they were talking about than she did. All I could do was shake my head.
That last part of the second line quoted above also calls into question just how familiar Taylor is (or not at all) with semi-contemporary anime.

Taylor's magical girl transformation sequence just involved a lot of invasive neurosurgery, so she's got bad memories about it.
