Private First Class Morpha (Support)
AHHHH Chryssalid! Kill it with Shredder cannons!
- Specialist Acal (Engineer/Tactical)
Horta or a giant amoeba.
- Private First Class Trani Yegur (Tactical)
Feed me Seymore!
Power armor for this guy must be closer to an armored vehicle then anything traditional.
Unique, yeah I guess that's one way you could refer to this individual.
Why IB? Why did you resurrect the Snek?

[X] Rundas (AA)

We need to save him before he becomes a mind controlled puppet! No, wait, Phazon isn't a thing yet.
Screw it, save him anyway!

It seems I am the lone voice of dissent asking "Is Tencta just as hype as Rundas?"

Ah, well. Never was one to jump on a bandwagon at the drop of a hat.

While the best psychiatric help the Federation has to offer is available the fact Assault Trooper training encourages increasingly violent actions against Space Pirates has been a hot topic among soldier advocacy groups.

I'd just like to take a moment to mention how much I appreciate this line. It says a lot about the character of the Federation that they remain deeply concerned about the mental health and wellbeing of their soldiers even in the face of the genocidal monsters they face.

So since the Metroids have appeared and we're gonna see the Fed troopers soon, here's a video featuring both of them for a bit. Spoilers for AM2R.

Before Nintendo shut down AM2R, the 1.2 patch was supposed to, among other things, imply the things the Baby makes disappear are crystallized X Parasites brought in to feed Metroid hatchlings. With the Queen and the rest of the Metroids dead, they begin to awaken...

Nope, the creature it's based on is a mother Goo from Grey Goo.

Here it is very much the same, though smaller. It's a literal Grey Goo nanomachine swarm.

Well, their combat platform goes for the "All the missiles" approach to combat. They are also rather likely to scream "BURN HERETICS!"

To elaborate they are a collection of AI warrior monks who worship the Chozo, whose fortress-monastery (the combat platform) is one of the smaller monasteries they have.
Okay to be clear what is Anthony Higgs Team doing exactly?
Taking out enemy anti-infantry vehicles, the Light Assault Bots.
Although if I may ask, is the Mecha/Exo-suit fighting the LAB? That's where I would put it if I was in command, and if that's the case, that's even more reason to help it out. Free that up from it's equal, and send it to wreck the mooks.
No GOLEM's are equipped, though the transport is capable of supporting them. This is due to the fact the ship is slated entirely for training purposes, hence why most of them are Cadets. Yes this does mean many of them are around Samus's age. Also some who're very much not due to their species.

I know. Like I said, an individual with a 'unique' role among Federation personnel.
They're a sapient light being, the shards are actually the Federation power suit and one of the few ways they can interact with organic beings! Their specialty is lasers. All the lasers.

Really hope we are successful in saving all of them since all are so awesome already and most being cadets would suck if lots of them died off.

...And if they find out Dragon was upgraded by the Chozo?

Nevermind, I can imagine it myself.

It's a literal Grey Goo nanomachine swarm.
There's actually a sentient nanomachine's colony. Wow.

I can imagine so many Legend jokes.

@ImmortalsBlade, exactly how much info did you make up for these new characters? Beyond the name, species, and picture.

Also will they be made to pick out code names? It's part of Earth-Bet's culture, after all.XD

The Space Pirates aren't the only major force out there. The Kriken Empire and several other groups have been attacking the Federation relentlessly. It's actually why a lot of groups support militarizing the Federation, and why active assaults against the Pirates are actually kinda rare and why the Pirates basically can subsist on so many raids. The Kriken Empire is in fact actively hated by the Pirates, and by many races in the cosmos. Mostly because they're basically a ruthless expansionist empire who's entire clan-based culture is based around sending their youth out on pilgrimages to search for worlds to conquer. Their entire combat style is actively based on stealth and sniping with high-powered lasers, which makes them a pain to deal with.

However, unlike the Pirates they're active conquerors and genocidal so they tend to keep territory rather than vanishing after an attack. They also lack the mad ingenuity of the Pirates. This means they aren't really prepared for the Federation's "We don't fuck around" policy and lacked the ability to really recover from losses despite being rather good at biotechnology, which is why by Metroid 2 they've basically been shit-stomped into the ground so hard that the only real threats to Galactic peace are the Pirates rebuilding (which Pirates are really damn good at doing) and the Metroids.

Well and the X-virus.

So, among other things, we've got a squirrel, a Chryssalid, a magic fox, a wolf girl, at least three robots, and what looks to be a floating rock.

Okay then. If T'Trako dies, I riot. I absolutely need to see him in a Tactical suit. But he's not an option, so......
