To be honest, I don't really find any of the interlude opions for this vote interesting.
It's tempting, but we're going to see him next story arc. I'd like something more unique.

And yay, back up! Also, shit, back up! This is now bringing up the question of how the Federation got here,
Old Bird and Grey Voice met with Congressman Keaton and Judge Racklas. Keaton is in contact with Admiral Dane. Admiral Dane is Adam's superior. So likely it's Chozo-related.

We know from past interludes there's something fishy going on with the Federation. My guess is that Bird, Voice, Keaton, Racklas, and Dane are all working on their end to deal with whatever is happening in the Metroid-verse, while Adam and his crew were sent to provide assistance to Earth-Bet.

The backstory will never be pressingly relevant, probably. :V

Quite frankly the native gangs of the Brockton Bay area are basically irelevant now...except maybe Coil, since the Space Pirates appear to have Plans for him.

Eithier they work with the others against the Pirate threat or they get beaten down by Samus and/or superior technology.

Remember, Purity joined the Protectorate, so I think this would be a good way to see how the cape community as a whole are taking the Pirate Invasion.

With how dangerous the Pirates have finally proven themselves, I imagine the Protectorate would eagerly accept a Blaster 8 into there ranks.

Edit: And the public can stop laughing about the Space Pirates and Space Doubloons...

Chozo we read about tech in the past can lead Samus to it in the present through some... decisive voting.

Speaking as someone incapable of taking metroids seriously, watching you all freak out over them was fucking hilarious.

So, you know. Thanks for that. :D

Metroid II shows how scary they are. They pop over the planet and promptly ate 99% of the life in it. No if and buts. The GF sent two squads over the planet and they got munched as soon they landed by larval metroids.

tfw you go to click the next arrow and it isn't there. I must say though I am glad I caught back up with this quest, so fun and exciting!

Now see, you can list accomplishments and crow about what apex predators they are until you're blue in the face, but show me what basically amounts to an edgy jellyfish and a fat lamprey eel on legs and you might as well tell me they're sushi chefs for all the effect it will have. I was actually into that scene until the pictures reminded me. Samus' confused, reflexive terror at what the text portrayed as a facehugger's bigger, badder, murder-ey-er cousin was pretty effective on it's own. Then i saw the images and was like .

So yes, it is purely based on the visual design of the presented images. But frankly, I believe that's enough. There's no accounting for taste, but visuals are still an important part of tone if they're present.

Other M, and Federation Force can just rot since it looks it killed/leave in a coma the franchise

Other M put it in a coma. Federation Force is Nintendo pulling a Shinji Ikari.

Overreactions to plot developments are as fun to write as they are to read.

I didn't get to post mine, though. Couldn't get YouTube to play along.
