Right. Votes are currently tied, so I'll wait a bit for more posters before doing the update. I should mention that the choices here do not affect future leadership options, and simply provide their stated benefits.
Denouncing what he referred to as Altidiya's promises of 'Pie in the Sky', Vasily managed to achieve a majority vote in the Supreme Soviet for his infrastructure plan. Altidiya stormed out in frustration, muttering under her breath about short-sighted foolishness.
Vasily wasted no time, allocating the required funding and using his influence with the military to direct Stalliongrad's soldiery to assist in the construction of both the infrastructure and the Palace of the Soviets, the initial designs for which had just been completed.
Spontaneous celebrations erupted among Stalliongrad's minority griffon population as news of the death of Emperor Grover V reached us. Disliked even among harmonist and conservative griffons for his indirect role in the collapse of the Griffonian Empire, it is clear that the troubles of the Reich have not ended. Already, rumors are spreading of chaos in the Regency Council, as the nobility try to block any influence from the commoners.
Meanwhile, to the south of Griffonia, more worrying news has arrived. Beakolini, a former socialist turned far-right demagogue, had lead a march to the capital of the Kingdom of Wingbardy a week ago. After a meeting with the king, he was announced as Prime Minister of a new government, surprisingly including a number of socialists in his cabinet. Perhaps this so-called 'Duce' isn't as bad as he seems?
Yet more debates! Unclear wording in the drafts of Vasiliy's infrastructure plan has resulted in a debate as to whether priority is to be given to improving, or in many cases outright building, railways crossing Stalliongrad, or to Altidiya's pet project of tank production for the military. Which interpretation shall the Supreme Soviet support?
Dev here (Yard1), just made an account to post here. I'm very excited to see a let's play, and I hope that EaW will provide for a fun experience If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
I regret not finding about this earlier - I'd have let you known that Stalliongrad is currently undergoing a rework. I'd have recommended Equestria instead, as it provides many more opportunities. Nonetheless, I hope you will enjoy

Hey! I'm the one who should be thanking you, here. EaW is the mod I've been playing the most recently and pretty much the entire reason I'll probably be actively playing HoI4 until Man The Guns hits. I'll be excited to see what you're doing for the rework, and I'll probably return once the rework is out. @Teen Spirit is already doing an Equestria playthrough over on SB which has gone very interesting very fast, so I imagine a number of people wanted to see something different.
Speaking of which, I should have mentioned this earlier. I'm currently playing with the Historical AI on to start out, so things won't get too crazy. Future playthroughs will have it up for vote, or just off by default.
We are keeping things hush-hush for now, but Stalliongrad will be massively expanded. We are also working on reworking some parts of Equestria - they were the first nations we've had, and their age shows, especially compared to the quality of the nations that have been released recently. I'll make sure to check out that other playthrough as well!
