And we're given the names of the other two Symphogears. Purple is Shul Shagaha, which I've never heard of, while Green is Ig Alima, which I have heard of as the fuckhuge blade of fuckhugeness in Prisma.
Checking, seems every Gugnir has the gauntlets. The spear in the OP indicates Maria probably doesn't use them.
Put that in a spoiler tag. Some people don't like to look at song titles until after those songs appear. That last song in particular should definitely be placed in a spoiler tag.
Reincarnation is a hell of a drug....And according to Ven, Maria is Fine. The one from Season 1. What.
We never got truly good subs until season 3, when the guy who translates all the supplemental materials was finally like "I can do better than that" and started making his own subs under the sub group name of "H&D". No bluray quality version exists for that yet, but it has by far the most accurate song translations. For now, Crunchyroll is probably your best bet for the first two seasons.Got overused to decent video quality; the place Krika recommended to me loses out on video quality.
And the other subs I found run into the issues of "Years old. Have fun downloading it."
Guess I'm sticking with inconsistent subbing of songs for now.
I mentioned this early on, but "Superb Song" is actually the closest thing there is a literal translation of the made up word that's used in Japanese. "Swan Song" is basically a Woolseyism. Crunchyroll's subs often use "Climax Song" as their translation of the same term.but the site I ran into for Sub Attempt 2 claimed they said "Superb Song".
Rebuilt isn't actually the right way to describe it. The old school is still in ruins. They just took some other building in the city, expanded it, and turned it into a school.
Except I'm pretty sure I heard the word Swan Song during the whole S2CA Triburst thing. Hence why I'm questioning it.We never got truly good subs until season 3, when the guy who translates all the supplemental materials was finally like "I can do better than that" and started making his own subs under the sub group name of "H&D". If I remember correctly, its actually "Superb Song" said right there, but the Engrish accent makes it sound like "Swan Song". Being mentally used to calling it "Swan Song" makes it much easier to mishear it as that.Except I'm pretty sure I heard the word Swan Song during the whole S2CA Triburst thing. Given that Source 2 is the same site someone linked earlier for terms, I suspect it's the same subs you're talking about. Of course, the issue with old torrents is that it's rather hard to get them working.

And Ver proceeds to reveal himself as evil, ADAM returning to its cage. The question is: Why reveal yourself?
He's even got a ridiculously hammy full name to match his huge ego, although I don't think his full name is ever stated outside of supplemental materials. He's got an ego the size of the moon and tends to show off in very hammy fashion.
I think Kanade's the only one I've explicitly seen dying from a Swansong. Bluewing got hospitalised for half the series, Chris got the final episode powerup to offset the damage from that and the cannon, Hibiki had several months offscreen to recover, and the Triburst showed no visible damage.Swan Song works better thematically too. A final performance before retirement and all that.
Kanade is in the category of "needs to shoot up on drugs to be able to activate a Gear at all" that means that the recoil is tons higher.I think Kanade's the only one I've explicitly seen dying from a Swansong. Oh waut, the start of the season had that girl showing the same injury as Bluewing before the building collapsed on them.
Ver's much more trustworthy though. To little suprise, Ver stole the Cane. Labcoats are useful, and Ver has as much ego as the last scientist.

Swan Song recoil is based on both sync rate and experience/skill at using your Gear. Not-Yet-Named-Girl didn't need drugs, but was a total noob with barely any experience at all, and didn't have Hibiki's bullshit sync rate.
I'd say Crunchyroll has the second best subs around for it, and the best subs for the first two seasons (video quality is the real kicker). Sadly they don't include the OVAs though.@Grue, let me know if you want a trial membership to Crunchyroll; I have some lying around, they have all 3 symphogear seasons, and their subs are decent.
Wait, it does?
Yes, it does. All the ads get replaced by tiny stutters that are less than a second in length.Wait, it does?
I'd avoided Crunchyroll mainly because ads never synched up with the ad breaks/cuts, and my experience was with the mobile/tablet version, and it's a bit annoying to have DRAMA suddenly get interrupted by Kirito soloing a boss and giant frogs at least four times an episode.
I'll probably try it out after I finish the episode I'm on.Yes, it does. All the ads get replaced by tiny stutters that are less than a second in length.
No real reason for the membership unless you actually care about having access to 1080p.
