Doubt they'll translate it unfortunately.

Potentially a fourth season on the way though. Or movie? One or the other.

Also I hadn't heard about any of this. I mean I don't go to the chat lounges. Pfft, who wants a social life. Especially one online. *... Curls up in depression corner of the room*
Both 4th and 5th seasons are already announced. Season 4, Symphogear AXZ, begins airing in 2 months (HYPE!).

As for the mobile game, pretty much ever gear user ever is playable (yes, even Miku and Serena), we've got some AU versions of gears (such as Chris with a longbow, Kirika with a glaive, and Shirabe with a giant shuriken), and the plot is centered around Gjallarhorn allowing for travel between universes (hello blatant excuse for crossover fanfics!).
Genjuuro's Angels: Symphogear XDU new info summary and speculation
Genjuuro's Angels: Symphogear XD website updates with story synopsis and more

Symphogear XD According To Someone Who Doesn't Know Japanese: Part I
XD Unlimited According To Someone Who Doesn't Understand Japanese: Part One
(Grue cannot attest to the accuracy of this summary.)
We start with Literally Episode One. I refer you to the beginning of the thread for now.
Apparently Ryoko's fuelling Kadingr with Gjallerhorn, and Commander knows it. Ryoko protests that everything's fine, it's not like it'll suddenly open a portal to an alternate world or anything.

We're now forced into doing the plot of S1, where Len appears to have snuck into the cast. Don't remember that.
MEANWHILE, the JSDF fails against Episode One's Noise. As with last time, LEEEROY JENKIIIINS.
"Who the hell are you two, and why the hell does one of you have Kanade's gear?"
"Enemy neutralised. Where the hell did the Gungnir girl go?"
Back at Lydian, said girl is totally unaware of her otherworldly doppleganger. Appears not to have run into Kanade either.
CUE MORE NOISE. The little girl apparently has the power of offscreen.
"I ART THOU THOU ART I TEAR OFF YOUR FACE AND SUMMON MY POWER"

"WHY IS EVERYONE YELLING IN HQ?"
"GUNGNIR DATTO. GRUE ROLLED 5* HIBIKI."
"It must be that Gungnir Girl that showed up to my fight. LET ME AT HER!"
Commander: NOTTO DISSO SHITTO AGEN
"Is that Tsubasa? Why do you have a sword?" "You'll get an explanation once thee other me turns up." "Other...you?"
[YARE YARE YARE YARE YARE AME-NO-HABARIKI]
"You're the Gungnir Girl! WHY DO YOU HAVE KANADE'S GEAR?!"
Frantic sword dodging ensues as Tsubasa just hits everything.
More noise. Tsubasa and Hibiki agree: Who the hell is this woman in silver who just turned up?
"Support from the future. This is probably going to be a regular thing for you lot."
With the silver woman having vanished, a Manager in a suit turns up like a ninja. Tsubasa is still glaring at the mysterious Gungnir Girl.
....Apparently Tsubasa knows Summon MIB. Must be an ancestral Kazanari technique.
Awawawawawa seems to be a default state of Biki's existence.
Lydian's sidethings look awfully omnious.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE NEW WIELDER. Notto Disso Shitto from Tsubasa this time.
Hibiki is shortly scarred for life by Ryoko offscreen. Tsubasa wants an explanation for Biki's initial appearance, Biki has no idea what she's on about. Commander's baffled too
Back home, Miku is not happy. No sweets for Bikki for a week.
A flashback is always good to go to sleep on.

Back in the Shower of Despair, it's Kanade Angst Time.

Right, we're back at HQ again. Exposition on how Bikki should have a pendant. Tsubasa doesn't like her lack of style.
"Fuck this, I'm out."
Not the time for Confidanting Hibiki. Alert's on.
"Another random Wielder? Where are these things coming from?"
"STOP FOLLOWING ME GUNGNIR GIRL!"
"Fuckit. Stop following me. Or Die."

Senki Zesshou Symphogear AXZ #1
Fair warning to people from the future: I'm currently watching these with quick'n dirty subs. So no lyrical translations for me.
Ah, the classical rush to complete all the homework before holidays end. Hands up everyone who's experienced that.
...The due date got postponed. Hibiki didn't do it before school hit. GENOCIDE isn't an excuse, you had plenty of time after that even considering Ozy.
Looks like Miku's bailing her out, being thanked with untranslated Spanish. Or she would, if SONG hadn't plonked down a helicopter just now. Duty calls.
PFFTHAHAHA. Qwiksubber subbed Dess Works as [KIRIKA BEING KIRIKA].
Down goes Bikki. I think Chris threw a shoe at her.
MEANWHILE, IN THE AMAZON: Crocodiles. And apparently some soldiers of some kind. Given the comments on being unharmable by mundane armaments, I think SONG got sent in to deal with someone with stray magitech.
Why the hell do these guys have Alcanoise launchers?!
Unfortunately for them, they have Tsubasa's Bladebike coming in. Their odds are not good.
Oh hey, a replacement for Radiant Force as the ninja and other two glide in. CURSE YOU KWIKSUBS.
Ogawa's apparently mastered Ninja Qwik Movement. Tsubasa's basically proved that mundane armanents are useless against experienced Symphogears.
Tsubasa's aping Shirabe's vertical saw. Meanwhile, firepower does 0 DAMAGE to Chris. She wasn't even using significant defences.
Pretty much everyone is trying to run the fuck away now. Tank's attempt at buying time by shelling Hibiki is singularly useless.
And now they've upgraded to using rocket shells. Unfortunately, those get returned to sender. Symphogears be bullshit.
...Is that an airship?
They try airdropping the SONG helicopters. 0. Damage. Admittedly by virtue of sticking the Gears above the rotors.
Bad Guys are calling bullshit. I somehow don't think missile spam is going to help, Chris can do that already.
Tsubasa and Bikki are using the missilespam as their road to the airship. I think that backfired.
Hah. That copter scene from the trailer was letting a missile pass through it, from the looks of it.
...I think Tsubasa uprgaded her bladekick. That's a big sword.
And by big, I mean literally cleaved the airship in half. Hibiki follows by grabbing the bad guy and Drill Breaking her way out of there.
Upgrades all around. We've gone from MEGADEF PARTY to MEGADEF INFINITY.
Tsubasa now hovers over water. Can't complain, she learned Ninja Waterwalking back in S3.
And now the cleanup and civilians injured by this mess. Chris isn't happy at all-understandable, given she was in exactly this kind of situation until S1 started.
Explanation time. TLDR: It's the Illuminati.
Non TLDR: Maria's been investigating under a false identity, and kept running into the Illuminati. Apparently they were a background supplier for Carol last season.
...and also the people pulling the strings of FINE the group, at least until they broke off far as I can tell. I see they're the Greater Scope Villians.
They're presumably the ones that have been supplying Alca-Noise to-
WAIT WHAT. That reaction seems to indicate that that's the place Chris was bailed from. Make that since the beginning, though I suspect Fine derailed a few of their plans.
Team Fine are really short on Linker. Looks like they're sidelined for a while.
More lack of dess subbing. Jii is also unsubbed. Meanwhile Chris PTSDs.
Another mission, this time against a chemical plant. I assume Alcanoise are there, but why is the Illuminati supplying them?
PTSD flashback. Young Chris was understandably not in a good headspace when her parents died. I suspect any Ignite attempt there's going to fail.
CURSE YOU QWIKSUBS Mk2. Transformations have been ramped up another notch.
Apparently Chris now uses big bows for nonnamed attacks. Again, an upgrade.
Villains going Fuck It Mk2. Giant Noise has been busted out with something that looks vaugely like a mini Noise Gunner.
The actual bow upgrade is basically Unlimited Lost Works. I think the intent is to hit the glowy things and blow the place to kingdom come.
The scarf now does attacks. Stop stealing my ideas for alternate usages of Gungnir.
Y'know, given they now have a style for attack cutins for Hibiki, I'd actually like to see some outside finales.
MEANWHILE, what's probably the leader of the bad guys thinks he's safe because of some barrier. Let's see how long that lasts.
Not long at all, apparently. Looks like SONG's been played like fiddles; I know these are Illuminati members, and they've been using SONG to flush these guys into their stronghold.
Well these Alchemists are singing a lot sooner than Carol did. CURSE YOU QWIKSUBS.
They're supposed to aid anyone affiliated with the Illuminati, such as these guys. I somehow don't think these guys are getting help.
Aaand apparently they can dissolve anyone around. Not sure if that needs Illuminati pins, given they were glowing.
I have a feeling those were souls being collected. FMA-style Philosopher's Stone, anyone? They also haven't noticed SONG's agents hiding out to get info on this.
Girl with a snakeye encased in crystal. Reminds me of Elfnein. Is this some sort of Complete Relic?
And there goes SONG's cover. They make the wise decision to immediately GTFO.
WELP. They just used the souls to summon a Wyrm. There goes formerly-nameless SONG agents.
They're using the souls to fuel their 'revolution'. What that is is unknown, but the Wyrm's about to get blindsided by Argetlam.
Oh, and ZABABA. OF COURSE THAT'S WHEN THE EPISODE ENDS. Looks like the credits are the other triosong. CURSE YOU QWIKSUBS.

Not quite as exciting as the shuttle, but still a strong start here. Now off to the threads where I can now go read spoilers.

I run these comments as I watch, linespacing isn't something you should expect from these given all the previous ones.

The scarf now does attacks. Stop stealing my ideas for alternate usages of Gungnir.
That's actually the same attack Hibiki used while teaming up with Chris in season 1, during the Flight Feathers concert. The scarf is just added powering-up effects since she didn't have it in S1. Glad she finally remembered she can do that.

AXZ #2
-Today, it's Flashback Hour. Apparently, the Nazis decided to take refuge in Val Verde, carting along Carol Clone Medusa Mask as a Relic to incentivise keeping them. I'm sure there's action movie refrences to be made, but I'm not familiar enough to make them.
-Well that is definitely not a natural feature of the Moon. I suspect we'll be heading there later this season.
-The OP shows that everyone's been training; Manager apparently has the Clone technique down now.
-The Alchemists seem to have a slightly more traditional Magical Girl transformation/style. This is also apparently happening at the ruins of Carol's Castle; other significant characters are Medusamask and someone in a white suit.
-Recap of last episode: They forgot to mute their laptop, a dragon got sicced on them, the FINE trio arrived.
-Elfnein's beating herself up over not progressing on the Model V LiNKER. Commander thinks she should believe in the Gearwielders.
-Main issue of these subs: CHECK THE HISTORY OF THE DAMN VILLIANS. PAVARIA IS NOT A COUNTRY.
-'Regaining control of history has always been our goal'. Bit arrogant there, Illuminati. But I see NOT AS PLANNED has happened before.
-"LET'S GET NAKED." Is this supposed to be Kill la Kill or Symphogear, subs?! NO DAMAGE to the dragon, but Noise are summoned to slow Maria.
-Maria's song is really showing her character development since Black Gungnir. Unfortunately, still no damage to Dragon. The Alchemists are still sneering.
-Wait, did Maria repurpose the tornado part of Carol's Giga Drill Break? Combination attack with Hibiki when?
-Fuck. The Dragon appears to have Dead Apostle-style regeneration; the damage apparently never happens after it's hit.
-Run away is indeed a valid tactic. The Alchemists don't want to let them because of their god complex over attaining that timehax, though.
-Meanwhile With Radiant Force: Civilians are being threatened with Alca-Gunners. The kid's run off to do something.
-Bad pun, Kirika. The strategy for escaping seems to be the Crazy Shennanigans most SONG members are unused to; jumping off a huge cliff onto a train is not normal for normal people.
-And now the Aztec-sounding dragon is recalled; apparently they're satisfied with KAMI DA POWER. They also need to focus on retrieving Medusamask, who's apparently a Manakete. Apparently sealing yourself in crystal is this timeline's method to avoid madness.
-Alcagunner wants to be let off the hook. Unfortunately, a football to the face provides enough leeway for Radiant Force to go stop that idea.
-WELP. The kid lost his leg and Chris got triggered. Better than with normal Noise, but-Wait, that's the lady from Chris's flashbacks? And she's throwing Chris's griefborne words from back then in her face? That'll do wonders for her mental state.
-Or not. She's fully aware it's her fault, because she blasted it off to stop the Noise dissolving him.
-Elfnein apologising for not being good enough, and others proceeding to ignore that and reassure them, is going to be a running thing, isn't it?
-BACKSTORY TIME. The Illuminati developed alchemy by searching out the leftover ancienttech of Fine. Fine didn't like that; our example appears to be Pirate Fine, who can now conjure swords. Tiki The Starwatching Manakete was a key part of their founder's KAMI DA plans, but during a clash with Fine, they lost that and the Illuminati lost power. Of course, Fine's now gone, so presumably the Illuminati have been making another grab for power from that and the Keyword-mentioned clusterfuck in Europe.
-Sounds like Saint Germain is doing this for the Justice of stopping opression. Controlling everything to stop opression is hitting my 'correct, but not right' buttons, though.
-Today's mysterious namedrop: Lapis. Caligstroto wants to beat Symphogear face in before completing it.
-Sonya used to be like a sister to Chris when her parents were alive, Chris blamed her for not stopping the bomb that killed them. About the kind of thing I'd guessed. The arrow to the knee has just widened the rift between them.
-Ah. Alcanoise at the airport are bait. They're being used to draw out the Gears for petty revenge.
-Here's the new FINE trio song from the credits last time. The Alchemists immediately underestimated, and Prelati's got bound by Kirika before she can join in.
-Current strategy to stop the dragon: Punch Caligstroto in the face before she can summon it. Unfortunately, the Linker's running out and the Alchemists are holding them off. This is going to go downhill fast; they should think about investing in Tsubasa's Reduced Synch technique.
-And now Maria's outnumbered two-to-one and a dragon's probably incoming. Better hope the original trio can get to a hospital in time.
-...Did Shirabe just turn herself into the plane's front wheels?
-Good news: The Noise went down to Maria's new cannon. Bad news: They're out of time and petty revenge is coming.
-I see the Alchemists completely failed to go over Carol's defeat. Because your supposed invincible techniques mean jack shit when Hibiki's punching them. NOT AS PLANNED: 2 Invincibility: 0
-As I mentioned in the main thread, this season's ending is basically Chris's PTSD. This includes the lyrics.

I'm pretty sure it isn't. I'd assume that's the bit that floats by afterwards.

Look to the right of the scarves. Somehow I don't think that the Frontier bit is going to look like it's carved into the Moon.

Stibbons is talking about the bit that floats by after the title shows up and it hangs on the Hibiki silhouette for a moment before it transitions to the training sequences - the Frontier piece floats by.

Look to the right of the scarves. Somehow I don't think that the Frontier bit is going to look like it's carved into the Moon.

Sorry, I didn't know what you were talking about. But we have seen that feature before

It's what Doc mom is interfacing with to restart the moon, at the bottom of the chunk Fine blasted out of the moon.

That said, the Illuminati supposedly didn't care about the moon falling, so it could be relevant.

AXZ #3
-I see Saint-Germain has teleported in after the other Symphogears arrived.
-SO LETS'S SKIP TO SCHOOL. It's been a while since we've heard the Lydian theme.
-Bikki didn't manage her summer homework, did she?
-Ah, that's why we skipped ahead. Hibiki's explaining stuff to Miku.
-The Alchemists consider the Gears Fine's legacy-and useless for seizing the future. I'm wondering how much of that is actually a 'fuck Fine' attitude? Wielder speculation is they're pursuing the same objective as Fine, and they seem to be invested in their sunk costs.
-Side-note: OST in this is the Zesshou Tune. Hibiki's clearly down from it, but her opinion basically TLDRs to 'Just because you're correct doesn't mean you're right".
-Something else is worrying Bikki, but we're not getting it. Instead, Tsubasa/Maria are transporting something on their plane, and the Illuminati have apparently busted the Manakete out of the crystal.
-Ah, the Manakete's an Autoscorer made for star observation. As far as I can tell, she appears to be the Antikythera Mechanism. Wonder who she's based off of?
-Tiki seems youthful. And devoted to the Illuminati leader. Doesn't seem to care much about Germain's motivations either.
-Germain's still baffled at One Punch Hibiki, and wants to work out how they work, but Adam just wants them destroyed. Last season means Alcanoise can't do that, so I suspect that's easier said than done. Incidentally, I trust Adam about as far as I can throw him.
-Preemptive attack. As expected, it's the plane. Down it goes, and Tsubasa needs to go rescue Maria because of it. Briefcase is definitely important.
-...Are the Gear names subbed? Because Ame-No-Habariki is reading as SG-r01 Heavenrend here. Looks like I'll need to check the RAWs somehow.
-Tsubasa's new song is a bit bloodthirsty. What the Alchemists on hand didn't realise is that she was preparing Thousand Tears while she was falling.
-Apparently Nazi Germany hoarded relics to try to find energy sources during the war. We have an hourglass, two different swords, a whip that may have a ball on the end, a hand holding something, a whistle(?) and the Holy Grail as examples. As Japan was an ally then, they got sent some of the relics. This included Nehustan, Gungnir and Ichival. Some of the remaining stuff got brought to South America by fleeing Nazis, which is of course how Tiki got there.
-The Gearusers need to be cautious, given the Illuminati are in Japan. Unrelated news: Swimsuit Biki is the lockscreen for Miku's phone. I see a callback to Zesshoushinai there.
-Ah, Biki's worried about Chris's PTSD. Unfortunately for this conversation, Chris is literally right behind her.
-...And so's Tsubasa. I'd assume protection detail. In any case, Tsubasa's worried too, Chris saw the leg as her only good choice, and now she's deflecting with Biki's summer homework.
-Here's the bait: Alca-Noise attacks on populated areas. Maybe, just maybe, the Illuminati are the bad guys here?
-SUPER-Noise deployed. This one creates a Barrier. And can regenerate. And block the Gear's normal ability to bypass invincibility.
-Unfortunately, it looks like the Illuminati failed to watch Season 3 again, because the Gears have a burst of offence avaliable with Ignite.
-I'm guessing this is the second verse of the Gekishou Infinity Ignite? Good news: They can overpower the Noise, bad news, there's lots of them.
-Control mechanism for the Barrier is at the center. It has a Solar System theme. They're going to blow up the Sun, aren't they?
-Apparently Chris has speaker bullets now. They're for sonar.
-Okay, not the Sun. Just a giant Noise.
-...Was that a three-man Combination Attack with the same style as stuff like Synchrograzer?! And it's not even the season finale?! I'm pretty sure this is completely unprecedented.
-...Aaand I think they're shooting Hibiki as a bullet. Granted, following up with ramming the Super Noise, but still makes sense with Hibiki's tendency to ignore the impossible.
-Right, that was apparently also to occupy the Wielders. The Illuminati want to fight God, unlike Fine who wanted to see him again, and apparently Japan's a good place to launch that from. Presumably from the ley nexus Carol was using.

Right, actual speculation here. Assuming the Illuminati's goal is the same as Fine except with punching God in the face, I suspect they have one of Fine's problems applied wide: They're stuck looking to the past glories, rather than seizing the future. Everything the Alchemists have focuses on the past: Their use of relics, scavenging the stuff of the past to use, even their magic relies on memories of the past.

While the Symphogears do use fragments of relics, they're basically something new, and NERV/SONG keeps moving forward with them, not dwelling on the past that's already gone.

-...Are the Gear names subbed? Because Ame-No-Habariki is reading as SG-r01 Heavenrend here. Looks like I'll need to check the RAWs somehow.

That's commie and their dedication to trolling us. Why do you think they're persisting with "Pavarian Illuminati"?

-Tiki seems youthful. And devoted to the Illuminati leader. Doesn't seem to care much about Germain's motivations either.

Tiki a cute.

Garie and Micha are still better than her, but Tiki is growing on me.

-The Gearusers need to be cautious, given the Illuminati are in Japan. Unrelated news: Swimsuit Biki is the lockscreen for Miku's phone. I see a callback to Zesshoushinai there.

gaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy

-SUPER-Noise deployed. This one creates a Barrier. And can regenerate. And block the Gear's normal ability to bypass invincibility.
Nah, do to all the Nasu comparisons of various things, its totally a Reality Marble and that Noise is a Dead Apostle :V
-Right, that was apparently also to occupy the Wielders. The Illuminati want to fight God, unlike Fine who wanted to see him again, and apparently Japan's a good place to launch that from. Presumably from the ley nexus Carol was using.
Or its a good place to fight God because of how stereotypical of thing that is for JRPGs. Cultural Sphere magibabble and stuff :V

AXZ #4
-I'm guessing this is Saint-Germain's Tragic Backstory. Born a slave to a whore, her father had absolutely no sympathy for her, and her mother died for it. As I've said before, Chris 2.0...though I suppose, given the timeline, she's Proto Chris.
-...Was that the Illuminati Logo on that building? Bit too small to make it out.
-In any case, Tiki's reading magical girl manga. The Magical Girl Outfits we saw in the OP are confirmed to be Faust Robes, though unlike Durdabla, I don't think they're made of specific Relics? Apparently they got design tips from Carol's work.
-Caligstroto is 3lewd5me.
-...Apparently, the Kazanaris are heavily involved in supernatural defense; 2div seems to be a governmentized version of their private predeccessor. Explains why Tsubasa was directly involved as a kid.
-...I thought Enigma and that stuff was public domain by now? Did the Symphogear Nazis have a SUPER-SECRET Magic Enigma?
-By now, they're expecting an attack. The active Wielders are put on guard. FINE...are tasked with finding stray civilians. Of which Kirika has fallen for a scarecrow.
-And now they're about to get roped into harvesting via tomato bribery. Or Caligstroto could interrupt, that works too. FINE is now Team Neapolitan. Fourth wall has been damaged.
-Setting Noise on the people unable to transform is good strategy. Unfortunately, missilesurfing is now part of Chris's song.
-Is that a refrence to Fine I see in Chris's song? The enemy may have their reasons, but that's not going to stop Chris fighting them. I'm looking at you, early S3 Hibiki.
-Speaking of which, Chris's big arrow move is simply bait for Stroto to get fisted again. This time by Hibiki.
-Someone explain what movie Biki's been watching? She's saying something about three inner and outer harmonies uniting into a spear of six harmonies.
-AHAHAHAH. Stroto's found herself right next to a sword. Germain's forcing her to withdraw.
-Yes, yes, I get it. Tomatoes are a metaphor for the FINE trio.
-...Why is Xemnas apparently in charge here? Is old Grandad Kazanari an Xehanort, or is this someone else? LATER EDIT: I think someone else? LATER EDIT: Apparently not. Tsubasa's already half Xehanort.
-...Why is Favorite Curry on what I'm pretty sure is the data from the American's shady Gearuser attempt? Was Ver half Kirei?
-Right, using Gears without compatibility is painful. Don't do it. Like I'm pretty sure Team Neo is going to.
-And the Alchemists have been waiting for Ignite to transform. Are we actually going to see the timelimit have relevance?
-WHAT THE HELL THEY JUST KNOCKED TSUBASA OUT OF IGNITE.
-PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THE HELL THEY CAN NEGATE IGNITE. IS THIS THE ANTI-LiNKER MENTIONED IN THE KEYWORDS?
-Somehow I don't think breaking the chains of opression is going to hurt nobody. That said, this philosiphocal discussion will have to wait.
-Because Adam's here. He's apparently a Nudist.
-And he's apparently using alchemy to nuke the area. Shouldn't you get your subordinates out of the area?
-Meanwhile, Team Neo were stupid and used their Gears without Linker. They may have saved the other Gears.

Sympogear is ridiculous.
