Yeah, but wouldn't she want to first blast herself with Shenshoujin, to free herself from the Curse?

Think how much being free from the Curse's influence would have changed her plans.

Especially since if she knew that Shenshoujin could do that, she probably would have harnessed its power centuries earlier. Maybe even have replaced her "build a device to destroy the Moon" plan with a "build a device to allow Shenshoujin to affect the whole planet at once" plan.

The moon reflects light from the sun onto the planet, shine the light of Shenshoujing onto the moon so that it reflects across the entire planet, ???, RULE THE PLANET.

Well, there's that too.

Also worth considering is that using Shenshoujing to purge herself of the Curse centuries before the story would cause her to better understand other people, and thus try to cure the world of the Curse through more peaceful and cooperative means?

Also would have made her confrontations with Adam very different.
 
The curse is not the only thing preventing mutual understanding, the primary issue is people being people.
This goes for Fine too.

-Welp. Mikugear is now a canon issue once again, rather than an XDU one. Explains why Miku only needed a bit of LiNKER to use AU Shenshoujin, though-there's a possibility that she didn't even need the LiNKER.
