AXZ #7
-*blinks* Wait, why do the Alchemist's Faust Robes look like they have an open Symphogear pendant? I don't
think this was on Carol.
-Apparently all human conflict is a result of the Curse of Balal. I'm calling bullshit, I'm pretty sure Fine's post-moon plans featured human conflict. Already covered how humanity doesn't necessarily need it removed.
-Adam's going to hijack the Lunar ruins for his own ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL purposes, isn't he?
Definition of sacrifice
- 1: an act of offering to a deity something precious; especially : the killing of a victim on an altar
- 2: something offered in sacrifice
- 3a : destruction or surrender of something for the sake of something else b : something given up or lost the sacrifices made by parents
-Germain, that is
literally one of the dictionary definitions of sacrifice. You're hardmanning it as needed, but it's still a sacrifice for your 'new world order'.
-We can't dwell on the gaping flaws in her argument, Germain can shoot through swords. That actually interrupted Tsubasa's song.
-Well this fight is going well-DON'T USE IGNITE YOU IDIOTS, THEIR STUFF SPECIFICALLY REFLECTS THE STRAIN BACK ONTO YOU.
-Pros: we get a dual IGNITE scene for ZABABA. Cons: They get immediately taken out of the fight because
you forgot they specifically counter IGNITE.
-This isn't the curse of Balal making Bikki not get it, Germain. It's
you being a HARD WOMAN MAKING HARD DECISIONS.
-Wait a second, under this "ALL CONFLICT IS BALAL" theory, doesn't this make the Alchemists be the ones being whammied by it? Bikki's the one to try reaching out her hand, the Alchemists just can't realise they're playing bad guys.
-The alchemists
continue their trend of having barely watched S3, with Germain using a lack of TRAUMATIC BACKSTORY as her latest YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND justification. She also shouldn't be suprised at Bikki punching straight through her attack.
-And Germain just saved Bikki from a deflected attack. Presumably paying back Bikki not continuing her punch, but I think S2's whole thing with towing the moon back counters your assertion of VENGEANCE being the way to success.
-Heh. SONG are perfectly aware of Hibiki's habit of punching straight through the enemies strongest stuff.
-Ah, they want to use the leylines Carol used for dissection for their traditional use of MOAR POWER. Luckily for them it doesn't need a Holy Grail War to charge up.
-Back at home, Miku's doing the cooking, while Bikki seems to have been forced to knuckle down on the dread homework.
-....Is this supposed to be Beef Stroganoff?
-Flashback to Miku's not-so-traumatic backstory. Apparently she used to focus on winning. Bikki's helping out a random kid-
-Oh hey.
What the fuck Japan returns. Apparently, drawing your abuse over a middle-schooler's bag is a
perfectly logical thing to do.
-Seems
what the fuck Japan is what brought Miku out of that mindset; rather, Hibiki EVERYTHING'S FINEing her way through that.
-I'm fully on board with Miku supporting Bikki
not supporting sacrifice for the cause. If it's a rule that a sacrifice is required for hope, punch through that rule and seize hope anyway.
-Wait a second, isn't that Hibiki's Relic Cancer?
-Adam reaming the alchemists. Him specifying the power of God being in
his hands doesn't keep off my portents of a hijack from him.
Saint-Germain, 2017
-The Alchemist Trio seem to like Adam about as much as me. Chances that Adam tries to stop their loyalty being specifically to Germain interfering in his blatant powergrab?
-Apparently they're incorporating Gungnir Cancer into the gears to counter the Philosopher's Stones; apparently they're opposites. My mental speculation for Gungnir cancer was
admittedly MP Gungnir units in the far, far future, but it looks like each Gear will have half-a-dozen other relic bits in it by Season 10.
-Chris's TLDR: It's the Fool's Stone, because it came from a fool. I think the tarot meaning might be more appropiate here, and IIRC the episode title supports that.
-Yep, ARCANA NO 00. AKA the Fool. It's now the official name for Gungnir Cancer.
-Oh hey, time to head back to underwater storage to retrieve the cancer bits.
Of course this is going to result in an attack again. No LAST ACTION HERO to save the Alchemists this time though.
-Please don't contradict me with a stinger. Anyway, thanks to Chris they're having to sort through debry. Admittedly securer than it was, but hard to retrieve stuff from.
-Wow. An attack. What a
huge suprise.
-Catch-22. If you dodge the beams, the normal people kick it. Lovely.
-Awfully confident of your chances without Dainslef, aren't you? Didn't you get thrashed last time with three-against one?
-SONG's realised that too. Please tell me we're getting this season's ZABABA duet.
-How to defeat Caligstroto's Water Wall: MORE DAKKA.
-...Did they just glue Chris's arrow onto Kirika's scythe? Anyway, this is either the ZABABA duet or a mundane songswitch.
-This song is even more yuri combined.
-Okay, what the fuck, I can barely read this variant of the Combination Attack Style. I
think it's ZABABA SUN AND MOON EXTREME BETA STYLE, but the subs decided to use a load of numbers instead of letters.
-Apparently downed Alchemists explode Toku-style? Anyway, ROCKET ARROW taking down one causes the other to bail to rescue them.
-Didn't even take an episode before Adam tries to get rid of Alchemists. He just suggested sacrificing one for more power for the ritual.
-No, he doesn't have any humanity left in him Germain. He's in this for personal power.
-I suspect Adam will just kill one of them anyway for the energy, even if they refuse. Question is, is this going to cause defections because the bosses don't properly get people and rely on being OP, or are we continuing with sunk cost fallacies?
