dp did just say there is a mortal be gone and if they send non mortal things then those are probably things we need to fight anyways.
Fair enough, I didn't see that before posting so my bad.
That said, this FBI division does have minor talents on staff, and that doesn't necessarily mean weak ones. A guy limited to fire evocation but otherwise capable of burning down a shopping center on their own qualifies as a minor talent, as does someone capable of summoning a half dozen mildly superhuman nevernever goons capable of wielding firearms.
If we tell them enough to make them move quickly they'll presumably use assets they think will work. Fighting them would be a problem later on, and cost us time now.
I'm going to point out again wrights not the only agent and am not sure why people keep bringing specifically them up. The chances of every agent being dirty or a patsy is weird though this is simply to get mortals out and maybe kill some of the weaker ghouls.
Yeah, but he is the one we have a demon hooked up to.
We could use the contact data we stole, but that means playing digital tag with the FBI with almost no prep time. Clippy is good, but she can't magically force machines other than the phone she's in to comply.
Using Wright's phone demon burns that resource, but it'd also make tracing us in a conventional way impossible.
Overall I think it's a bad idea on multiple levels, but if we did do it he's the guy it'd be safest to work through, purely based on that access point.
Edit:
Incidentally, I think we should make getting a summoning path a priority sometime soon. Regular sorcery - or at least as regular as anything gets for an exalt - isn't as reliable as a charm, but being able to bulk out our forces with chaff of the same grade Binder uses would be very nice. We could send one actually useful person with say three machine gun wielding goons to handle this bit while we handle other stuff.
