I am taking the Wind-Born Stride charm from Exalted versus World of Darkness. It is a fantastic charm which directly addresses how Molly currently lacks a means of rapidly closing the distance so that she can use her Melee skills. There is some obvious synergy with the passive Flight granted by the second purchase of By Rage Recast.

Charred Sinner Renewal just seems like an excellent way of preparing to reduce the downtime from injury and increasing Essence regeneration. The Exalted versus World of Darkness book specifically says that a bathtub full of bleach could provide the needed immersion. This means that Molly would be able to heal all non-aggravating wounds and regenerate all Essence so long as she has enough time to take lengthy bath at home.

REASON
The strategy here is information supremacy, and its built around Hollow Mind Possession.

+Essence and Charred Sinner Renewal are mandatory.
One gives us a superform, the other allows us to heal and recover Essence faster at rest.

Molly's Urge, and the thing that allows her to recover Essence in play, is learning secret and forbidden information.
Hollow Mind Possession helps her do this in a computerized, networked city.
Lots of secrets on computers, especially in a city where Marcone and the Raiths have a lot of influence.

And in 2006, computers are everywhere.
Blackberrys are everywhere, Chicago is putting up surveillance cameras, there are traffic cameras at intersections, police cars have laptops networked to the city mainframes, and the Internet is expanding its tentacles.

Being able to put a friendly AI, or a lot of friendly AIs, into these networks will give Molly an information advantage.
Also helps with Crafting, because she can turn any modern car or motorcycle into KITT from Knight Rider.
She can even make a smartgun with bonus dice to use from having an AI demon in the electronics.

Appearance improves her social impressions, which means that she can social people better.
This will help with everyone from Charity to enemy necromancers and hostile spirits.
So we really want this before our social combat rematch with Charity.


I really wanted to buy Rage Recast so we can get Flight, but that has to wait until next time.

Bleach is an inhalation hazard that needs significant dilution with water for safe disposal. We'd need preparations and money to set up to do it practically and safely.

Actually, yeah, I like this. A lot of nice passives, Essence for all of those bonuses, awareness to keep us from getting ambushed, appearance has been grating with its low score, and investigation to make our one question per topic stretch farther by both being able to ask better questions due to better background info, and getting more on follow-up investigations after asking our question.

We really need VED now it covers our information needs by letting us take over the small fey network. Improve allies and safe guard people. Just the ability to remove flaws is golden.
We don't need it right now, and taking it could have serious complications.

We're decently strong right now, but that's relative to how much trouble attacking us is really worth. Right now there isn't a lot to gain compared to what you could lose.

VED makes us a genie that's more useful the more powerful you are, and using basically requires exposing it. The information will get out, and then we become worth a lot more trouble than we used to be. I mean what are we going to do for security, offer Uriel a wish in exchange for a guardian angel?

What we should take is essence 2, then something to increase durability and a utility charm. That way we smoothly increase our personal ability to withstand attention from on high, which we can in turn leverage for contacts and resources to use with this sort of charm later.

1. E2 - 8xp.
This unlocks Shintai, which gives us a secondary hlvl bar. So our survivability is assured here as if we take too much damage we can just transform and not have to deal with the penalty till after combat or the form drops. This also gives a substancial boost in power, allowing us to spend 2 Ess per turn, extends our excellency by 1 turn AND boosts our Essence max and Essence recovery.

2. Charred Sinner Renewal - 4xp
Essence as though she were resting in a Dragon Nest - Meaning we regenerate 1 Essence every 15 mins.
Full healing of all Bashing Damage.
Heals one level of lethal damage every 15 mins.

3. Viridian Legend Exoskeleton - 6xp
4 Soak for a scene and can be increased to 5 - 6 if in shintai. Molly has only 4 Soak currently and this charm DOUBLES it and potentially triples it if in Shintai. So this is going to be our core charm .

It also leaves 2xp for next turn.

Frankly, for Molly the Infernal?
The most important 5 dot charm is The King and the Kingdom:The Thousand and First Hell.
The charm that unlocks her inner Hell. That gives her a bolthole as well as plot justification for an entire array of support personnel.

VED runs a distant ...fourth? Probably fourth or fifth.

Any enemy to just accept a wish from an unknown, is frankly to dumb to be a threat in Dresden files. And anybody that tries an take advantage of Molly will quickly find all the stories about about evil genies fully applies to Internals. For one we can set them a task they must do upon pain of being dragged into the hell's if they refuse. Like say turn over all you wealth to Molly, refuse and its the hells for them and they will know that. Also it is a full year between wishes, and after 3 wishes they automatically gain an inbuilt loyalty to Molly, with Molly social rolls against them being lowered by 3 on 10 max scale.

I'll throw in for this one, though its close. I kind of want to go in for Uju32's plan but... I know how these things tend to go in Dresden. When things start looking good we are going to get shanked in the kidneys. I'd like that to be the last mistake the enemy ever makes.

also our wishes are useful their not that great honestly though the real use is how many we can make though. if we grant someone a wish can we refuse to grant it I know if we refuse we obviously don't get the benefits can we refuse to grant a wish we dont like? Like these are barely life altering wishes barely most of the time. Wonder if a wish can cure someone of like vampirism.

Where Mab has blackmailed Dresden into working for her not once but twice.
Where Nicodemus first pissed Mab off, then made her send his mortal enemy Dresden to help him break into Hades Vault.

Your description of the setting doesnt really bear much resemblance to its reality.

thats why I asked I was unsure if it was a present them the ability to take a wish and then they wish it. also guys for dresden hes never going to accept a wish from us hes not that stupid and be glad he isn't. Also word of dp that stuff kinda sticks somewhat in them even if its not the full turn into a being of darkness which three wishes causes.
