Mikaboshi is the Surveilance-guy among demonkings, any public camera, any dorm-security we passed could have been posessed.
Hell,our brief burst of full-power-Molly to intimidate the phone could have been picked up by any other bearby minion of Mikaboshi.

Depends on how fast this guy is and if he'd want to run. I think we should activate ATP then go to drink the cyberdevil and go after the guy with 5 essence.

Point but not really relevant now. The cyberdevil needs to die and if Olivia kills it we don't get the motes.
 
Y'all voted to keep spending Essence like water, and now we're almost empty. As a consequence of that, we should just retreat with Nora before another surprise shows up and forces us to spend even more Essence.
 
@DragonParadox we are definitely in a new scene right now, correct? And does a crown question serve as an action for the purpose of combat, or can it be done reflexively?

He's faster than us, but we have flight and better acceleration, I think.

You are in the coffee house scene, you have spent three essence including the windborn stride from last update, giving you just enough room to cast ATP without flaring.

The full armor was a waste of essence and AtP won't retroactively erase anything.

This entire thing is already a circus act these people are going to be suppressing, forcing him to obey won't make it worse.

Maybe we can take this guy hostage and force them to give Nora's grandpa back on pain of permanent death for as many of their high level assets as we can take or something.

I don't believe they are. In their own Hell Yama Kings are virtually invincible. It's outside their Hell where they can be killed by teams of Boddhisatva.

I mean it's not like we could've known they'd just have a Shintai capable assassin on standby who could show up on a moments notice. This shit is kind of ridiculous but we know for future reference I guess.

Lydia is kinda useless right now as far as I can tell. She isn't fast enough to react to the bullets so she's a liability in this fight. The best she can do is summon her car and move Nora out.

Olivia... Did we even give her a gun?

I'm not why people think this is a high level asset. I don't think we've seen anything a regular akuma can't do.

Since you did that book a few months ago Molly does know the answer to this one, no roll. You can technically kill a Yama King inside their Hell, if you can somehow kill the hell. She does not have the powers to do that, although something tells her that literally sky-shattering weapons are not so much impossible as unavailable with present resources.

If we don't spend 1 essence, everyone within the hearing range will "suffer one level of bashing damage in the form of bleeding eyes and terrible headaches".

Conflict between the Yama King seems to come down to having armies of demons attempting to conquer and subsume parts of each others' Hells. That suggests that the best way to beat a Yama King might be to nibble away at their Hell bit by it, as while nigh omnipotent, they're not omnipresent in their Hell, until they run out of 'space' and then starve them out.

Yes, if they naturally developed or received basic training in how to use their P'o soul that way.

It's something that even pre-sapient Wan Kuei can develop
