On the subject of XP spending, since there's an ongoing discussion, I'll probably be in minority, but I think the plan in my mind is something like this:
2X Ox-Body
Source Code Compliance Protocol (incidentally, if I understand correctly, SCCP is a perfect attack of the same type as Sinner Boiling Stare, with the difference being that the damage is bashing) - it both gives us a potent tool against mortal magicians (or anyone else who has linguistic component to their magic), a tool to communicate with animals, and a booster for potent magic crafting
Alchemy 3, if we have XP - that's where the goodies are. And, funnily enough, there's no alchemy analogue in Holden's crafting system at all, now that I think of it.
Hear Prayer - it's a secure communication channel with our agents in the city (15 mile radius from Molly).
I don't see anti-poison as being super high priority, or IDU for the simple reason that we haven't even found time to properly utilize what we do have and there seem to be no plans to do so anytime soon. It'd be a novelty buy for a small number of people that we don't even have jobs in mind for yet.
ATP is tempting in my view because it puts a "must be this tall to ride" sign up for detecting us. Which has benefits ranging from blocking the issues we've had with RVD to no selling most forms of direct surveillance when we're serious about it.
Thats the sort of thing that solves current problems and extends our capabilities in a broadly useful new direction.
We have been increasing our threat profile before dealing with the very basic stats first. Some voters have thought "its been good enough so far" and leave it at that.
Hopefully we can deal with at least one of her dump stats and leverage what we already have instead of buying another shiny thing.
Their is no real overcoming mook spam if they are deadly enough to force essence use, even with Murder is Meat the anti mook spam charm, Molly will get run down. Exalted where always terrible at dealing with armies of chaff, with runaway being their best option.

More like Molly
Alertness 1: 3xp
Awareness 1: 3xp
Ox-Body 2: 3xp
Hell-Walker Technique(3) OR Essence Dissecting Stare(3) OR Crowned With Fury(3) OR Fathomless Poison Haven(2)+ Survival 1-2 OR Soul-Sieve Transformation(3) : 12xp
Lydia
Mo Kung/Demon Fighter 1(Training Discount): 2xp
Occult 2: 2xp
Spies 1 OR Familiar 2: 3xp
Hand over Jade Talisman 2, with caveat that we might borrow it later to see if we can duplicate it
-Hell-Walker Technique is effectively a universal translator in the Dresdenverse, and allows Molly to cross in and out of the NeverNever
-Essence-Dissecting Stare allows us to see magical reality, including things like Dragons Nests and breaches in reality, as well as supernatural creatures and -locations(chimerical reality)
-Crowned With Fury makes it viable to take hostile prisoners
-Fathomless Poison Haven confers immunity to poison, and damage from liquids
-Soul Sieve Transformation increases our soak by at least +1, and imposes a +2DC penalty on melee attackers

Poisons are very much a Red Court thing, as well as being something common to fomor.
I think its a kuejin thing as well, though I cant be sure off the top of my head. Being able to simply nope it personally, or to give other people, from allies to bystanders immunity to poison, and drowning, and acid damage, for a couple days, is kinda significant.
With but a smile and a caress, the Infernal can grant immunity to the ravages of the very seas of Hell.
System: The Infernal touches someone she feels affection for and rolls Charisma + Survival against difficulty 6. The subject becomes immune to any sort of harm from liquid for one day per success. This includes crushing, battering, drowning, boiling, and immunity to any sort of liquid poisons. The Infernal may target herself, if she desires.
This effectively eliminates an entire vector of attack against Molly and her allies.
And its free use. No Essence spent, just a roll, which you can repeat.
IDU can probably wait a month or two, agreed.
Not immediately urgent; we're already fulfilling part of our promise to Olivia, so it can wait a bit.
But only a bit.
I wanted to buy Appearance 3 at the beginning of January for thematic reasons.
But if we're going poking in Vegas, I cant justify the 8xp expense.
Assuming we don't use that ancient secret technique of running away. Our buffs are generally scene long so if all the Mooks come at once we can beat them. What you are talking about would take very careful timing. Just enough space between waves for our buffs to run out, but not enough time for us to recover our essence.
Also not that many groups that enough sacrificial mooks strong enough to force us to spend essence.
Hell-Walker Technique(3) OR Essence Dissecting Stare(3) OR Crowned With Fury(3) OR Fathomless Poison Haven(2)+ Survival 1-2 OR Soul-Sieve Transformation(3) : 12xp
No it isn't. And Source Code Compliance Protocol is far more universal, even if it costs essence to use. And has many other uses to boot. Definitely SCCP before HWT.
Even the side effects aren't so bad if you think about them for more than a moment.
Speaking languages we want them to. Just include English on the list and no problem.
Hate something we choose there are plenty of things out there worthy of hating.
Forbid an action: Picking up a coin or the like.
Dressing how we choose: I dress code is a small price to pay. Plenty of people wear college badges and the like. Or we tell them to wear green and brass.

Source Code Compliance is Obvious, and only works on speech in your presence.
It isnt going to allow you to tell what a recording of two akuma speaking Old Chinese are talking about, or what bystanders in a crowd are murmuring in Spanish, nor will it allow you to read Mayan or Aztec inscriptions on a wall.
Not to mention that there are places where you cant use it without the subjects taking offence; the Hidden Halls of Edinburgh, for example, when the White Council is in s.
We just spent an arc wandering around Mexico a month or so ago when we went to murder Arianna.
Being able to speak/understand Spanish, and any indigenous languages there would have been kinda useful.
Especially since I doubt this is going to be the last time.
Not to mention the IC life benefits of becoming a polyglot when looking to apply to college.
Poisoned fangs and stingers are a standard feature available to kuejin users of Demon Shintai.
Dresden's very first villain used servitor drones with poison. So do some Fae.
Shagnasty used acid. So did Ethniu. So do the Fomor. And some Fae.
And the bane-possessed often acquire poison as a standard "benefit".
Hi @DragonParadox Accodring to Holden, now that Molly has gotten a inner Hell, she is basically a baby Yama king.
Hey, once my Infernal has his own Hell, he can send people's souls there when he kills them. Can they then escape and return as one of the Hungry Dead?
You're basically a baby Yama King at that point, sosure, I don't see why not. Sounds cool to me.
So my question is, can we act as a patron for an Infernalist? As in can we "purchase" people's souls or at least parts of it to grant them Investments?
This is how Akuma are made, and we have resurrections as a feature of our hell.

Yes and no, you have the metaphorical heft, but the thing is Molly has no idea how to perform soul trade safely. That can be overcome by experimenting, which is rather gruesome and not really in character, or finding the information somewhere. This in turn ranges from raiding or trading for it with a Yama King or other kind of greater demon to having a very deep think on your inner nature... probably involving a walk into the Labyrinth.

Neither would Hell-Walker technique. Akuma are not spirits. Old Chinese is not a language of spirits. The description of the charm is:
Attuning herself to the emanations of the Spirit
World, the Infernal paces about until she finds a hidden
path that leads between worlds, and sets her feet upon it.
System: Spend 1 Essence and roll Wits + Survival
against a difficulty of the local Gauntlet. Success transports
the character into the Penumbra. By raising the difficul-
ty by 1 (to a maximum of 9) and spending 1 additional
Essence per ally, the Infernal can also draw other willing
characters into the Spirit World with her. This Charm may
also be used in reverse to return to the material world.
The character also permanently gains the ability to
understand the language of spirits and to make herself
clearly understood by them.
As far as I can tell, it would give us an ability to talk to Porter's Indian cousin, not an ability to understand all languages. And there's nothing about written word here either.
I honestly have no idea where you are pulling "it makes us speak all languages" from. That's not what it does.
What you are looking for is Source Code Compliance Protocol. Because that's the charm where you gain access to "language at the root of all languages" and can communicate with anyone and everyone.
Well, actually, yes, I would say that between "kill them" and "crush their minds with magic to make them complacent" Molly would at least hesitate which is better.

On this note, we literally ate the soul of a Greater Akuma. Would that not count as something to figure out how to do so? We also literally created a Demon from a fragmented soul of a Fallen, basing the Po Soul on that of a Human.
So it is not as if Molly is a stranger to Soul manipulation, especially if she takes Inner Darkness Unchained.
To jump on Yzarc's point don't we also have a greater Akuma that we sealed in some concrete down in the last station or near there that we can just ask how Akuma are made or how to safely perform Soul trade. Then there's also possibly using the crown on stories of people selling their souls to extract answers if the information is General enough.
