There was no dice because we are acting IC with Hichigo, but trying to act against our emotions and begin thinking logically, well this would need a roll. I am with you about needing rolls to get powers, or not

We don't know that IC.
All we know is that this cat just insulted us. We're Instinct. Even if we're going to move this so that we don't wreck Tatsuki's house, we have no IC reason not to try and kill the cat.
Urahara says that it won't be able to handle the pressure, but then again he doesn't exactly want us to come along. Also, if we reentered Ichigo's boring Inner World, it's probable that we would be able to go as well. So either Ichigo's spirit Pressure has to be counted twice either way, or Urahara is lying.
You do know that wasn't actually Madara right? Also that totally backfired specatularly on more than one occasion.

There was also no roll for Tatsuki's powers developing, or trying to find our spy.
Think this sentence is incomplete, but honestly, I don't think we can say definitively whether a roll will be involved or not given this Quest's actions.

Garganta, pretty obviously. No other way of breach dimensions for Hollows.
Hierro or Bala, I think. Something about hardening spiritual pressure comparing to moderating emotions. It's all about control~

I don't think it would give us Sonido. The option says "track the cat down" not "chase". Sonido is a movement technique, Pesquisa is the tracking/sensing one.

I will not roll dice for this quest. Things will happen with events logically following intentions as determined by me. Can the unintended consequences of minor deviations sucker punch you? Of course they can, but no more than anything else.

If we can open Garganta, things become much easier... and funny. No one ever said a Garganta had to be a vertical opening, after all... open one under your enemies' feet, and that takes them out of the battle if they can't realize what you've done and react in time.
