Going Full Hollow (Bleach)

[X] Uryuu's dad -he's a trauma surgeon.

Tatsuki's problem seems to be with a messed up body rather than a messed up soul, so why are we taking her to Urahara?
Her most immediate problem is messed up body, that's true. But it's entirely possible that she can heal from that on her own.

However, even given the other possibility of it being life-threatening, Urahara is likely to be able to deal with that as mentioned by other posters. His assistants, his research on lifelike gigai, his research in general...

IC, we know him to some extent. We don't know anything about Uryuu's dad, and having to explain the situation could be a huge problem.

Plus, once the physical injuries have been dealt with, the soul problem still needs to be looked into.

But it's entirely possible that she can heal from that on her own.
It's also possible that she can't. If she fails to heal, Urahara's expertise on souls will do nothing to keep her alive. The most likely solution he'd come up with is to let her die and put her in a gigai, which isn't really acceptable. After Uryuu's dad is done with the physical injuries, then we can take her to Urahara.

The entire rest of my post addresses that.

I always scoff in distaste when people say this. It just feels so unnecessarily rude. But...

Did you even read anything I wrote?

Edit: also this
Seriously, I want to reiterate that Urahara has a magical healing hotspring, the former head of the Kido Corps working for him who healed Ururu using Kido, and he can help Tatsuki with whatever is wrong with her soul. On top of all this, we don't risk getting killed and there is a very slim possibility Orihime could be there (wouldn't count on it though).

I misinterpreted it. You were talking in the context of "if it were life-threatening" and then cited his research on dead people and bodies that dead people wear. I thought you were talking about contingencies in case of death rather than death prevention. That quote you linked has convinced me, however. I've changed my vote.

So in volume 7 page 108 it seems like Ichigo was given some kind of medicine that heals wounds from Urahara during the start of training.
So it looks like there is an IC explanation to go to him afterall.

And then he also healed Uryuu on the spot too.
