Firebird, a Worm AU/Xover?

Shipping intensifies...
I didn't even mean actual shipping, just 'let's tease Amy as much as possible.'

I can safely that Taylor isn't being shipped with Amy or Vicky. I do have a possible relationship in mind, but it requires much delicacy and it may not even work out, depending on how the story goes. I do not, at present, even know if there will be space for it. Ve shall see.
Carlos regenerates. Logan regenerates. HMMMM....

Shes going to be shipped with chair-sama isn't she?

*Go check out the latest issues of the Bleach Manga. The CHAIR is the supreme power in the universe!*

I meant mine as one of those awkward teen moments and not shipping as well.

True.

It is not Dean and Dennis would come up as being immature.

That leaves Chris out of the available men. Unless an OC happens or Taylor kicks her morals to the side and dates a villain.

Like Circus.

I notice you didn't say anything about Amy AND Vicky. :ogles:

Seriously though, I wasn't even expecting there to be a chance of shipping, so... ve shall see, indeed.

It's an idea I have, which I will not even share because not sure there will even be room in the narrative. I can say, to my knowledge, that it hasn't been done, so speculation is way off. Best thing about having an ocp like the Phoenix in play, you can do just about anything you want cos cosmic entities make the rules.

OTOH, Lung isn't Canadian.

Alec is, though.
Pre or post flanderization Logan? Huge difference. If Carlos is like pre flanderization Logan, that's actually cool, if like post... Just kill him, if possible. It's a kindness.
The only two Logans I've experienced firsthand are Evolution Logan and first two live-actions Logan. X2 is the only one that's remotely fresh in my mind (last watched 4+ years ago) and I don't remember much of his actual characterization.

If the flanderization is from the comics, then you'll have to explain.

.... So. It is Dragon, isn't it?

Fair enough, though I don't know what an ocp is.

It is from the comics. He was originally written like a guy who was pretty badass with a nasty set of built in weapons and some serious regeneration. Had a reasonably decent backstory for an edgier comics character too.

Now? He's a living caricature of "cool badass" who makes so many appearances in so many comics that Spider Man hung a lampshade on it and accused him of having clones. He regenerates to the point that he is basically just conjuring flesh onto his body and the only way to beat him in a fight is...plot? maybe.

Originally he was a good bit more like the fairly low key portrayal by Hugh Jackman in the first X-Men movie. Now? He's fucking ridiculous and impossible to take any more seriously than Howard the Duck.

Thank you for a great chapter. I enjoyed a lot. The use of her telekinesis to enter the house, covering her father with a blanket, trying to understand the PRT's forms, her conversation with her father, the library (both the research and attack) and her meeting with her friends all felt to me as if they fit her personality in the story.

One comment. I might be misreading it but it almost seems as if Danny doesn't want Taylor to have a real reason not to join the Wards. Maybe in part so that he doesn't have to admit that what he previously did was wrong, maybe in part so that he can shift some of his responsibilities on somebody else (he probably realizes now that he hasn't been acting the way a good father should), maybe in part so that she can (hopefully) be kept safe and maybe another part or three that I can't think of. If she gives him a good reason he'll probably be disappointed. In fact he might ignore it if he (or somebody else) can think up justification to do so.

Also, will you later reveal whether there are opt out clauses in the Ward contract that she or her father could use and what the penalties (if any) for using them are?
