And for some ungodly reason I'm imagining the Servants of Chaldea watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe and speculating over what classes the various Marvel heroes would be. While many would be quite easy, others might cause arguments.

"Hulk"

"BERSERKER!"

"Falcon"

"Assassin!" "No, he's a Caster!" "He didn't make those wings, he doesn't count!" "Yeah, Rider is the only option for him!"

"Captain America"

"He's a Shielder!" "An unconventional one, to be sure." "No, no. He uses it as a projectile weapon, he's gotta be an Archer!" "You will not take Rogers-senpai from me!" "Dammit, Mash-"

Thought of this a bit late, but... Considering what we've been shown, most of the work in actually defusing the Servant-induced incidents is actually being done by Ritsuka (even if it's just "call in Herc as an impromptu enforcer"); Kana, meanwhile, seems to either ignore problems that do not completely jeopardize Chaldea or encourage them to misbehave, which just stresses Ritsuka out even more.

Basically: Show, don't tell; if we don't see Kana defusing situations, we won't believe she's doing that. The "Ritsuka does all the work while Kana goofs off" comment has a point, in that we have never seen her do anything else when she's not in a Singularity. It doesn't help that she spends an unspecified percentage of her time trapped in the Gate of Babylon, and thus completely incapable of doing anything. In fact, as far as I'm aware, the ONLY time she's done the job you stated she performs was when Stheno was summoned, and that was solely because Ritsuka was rendered incapable of acting as a Master by his own Servant (who had, additionally, explicitly stated that she would not restore him purely due to her own ego). Beyond that, she seems to be more of an instigator.

She's gonna have to shape up outside the Singularities to shake off the "Kana is a liability" reputation, I feel. Of course, I might be going overboard (like I did with Kiyo and said I would with the Summer Servants if I let myself get started on them), and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm forgetting something, but I'm just telling it how I see it, and the way I see it is that it's time for Kana to be the butt of the "unruly Servants" running gag.

A lot hasn't been shown, sure, but I don't think she's off in the GoB more than once or twice. She's been shown training for singularities, and while it might seem like just goofing off, just interacting with the servants goes a long way towards teambuilding. Servants like Nobu and Okita are probably more comfortable around her, whereas Ritsuka is still kinda just a "boss" at this point. She probably directly helps with rebuilding, too.

They could probably both still improve, but for the moment I think the "Kana doesn't do shit" is a bit overblown due to Gil shenanigans. ...looks like he's fucking with the audience as well as his masters.

Also, if Scathach shows up I expect her to be way busier due to having someone that can actually train her. Well, Scathach or Chiron, at any rate.

This goes right back to the "show, don't tell" thing; humans, as a rule, are prone to assuming that anything that isn't shown doesn't happen. Which means we only have what we see to go off of, and what we see tends to be Ritsuka doing all the work to keep the... "peace" is a bit strong, but "not-self-destructing-ness" should do, I guess? Kana, meanwhile, is kind of coming off as the "fun-loving, friendly, completely ineffectual boss" type to me.

The "Kana doesn't do shit" thing isn't solely based on Gil, though; it's based on how every instance of Servant misbehavior thus far seems to be from Ritsuka's point of view and/or targeting him, while Kana is mostly shown interacting with them during the times they aren't infighting with no indication that she's the reason they aren't at each other's throats (and indeed, at least once they weren't even aware she was there, partly due to how Ritsuka was just there and so furious that he intimidated Altera).

Anyway, on the subject of trainers... Chiron's probably safer; I think Scathach has explicitly stated that her training tends to kill the trainee if they aren't already as badass as Cu Chulainn (paraphrased, but gets the point across).

Or by atemporal shaeningans they summon the Summer/Ruler version of Boobturia. Ya know, the Casino's Bunnygirl one.
The idea that the first interaction the twins have with Boobturia is when she's in a revealing bunny girl outfit is hilarious. I mean sure the idea of them having to fight an armored version who then reveals she has massive knockers is funny but this is even more hilarious. Hell if when we get Rin/Ishtar I can imagine her grabbing her artoria and saying she just had some great inspiration and they needed to do some "body modifications"

Or screaming to the unfairiness of seeing every one of Shirou's circle of friends of the female persuasion surpassing her. Her younger sister included.

What about BB and Jaguar Man?

Jaguarmura-sensei would cause Rin to scream in frustration (and hidden curiosity on where the frak she was hiding them when she was their homeroom teacher).

BB is Hakuno(Male)'s waifu at least, or if not intersted more in 'Ritsuka-senpai' than in Shirou. And, more to the point, she has teenage!Sakura's curves, not the ones 'Aunt Sakura' possess.

I wonder how many little quirks in the Knights of the Round Table were caused by Gawain's complete lack of cooking skill?

Would Mordred have been less testy? Lancelot less of a manwhore? Agravain capable of smiling?

I can't see the last one happening unless it's a terrible grimace that tries to be a smile, and even them only on a "just as keikakku" situation. Or maybe, in a 90s film!Wednesday Addams way.

I was thinking maybe something like this:

Y'know, a robot trying to smile after having it explained to him by a kid who is epically bad at explaining shit.
"I do not understand why the knowledge of there being no more of Gawain's potatoes causes these involuntary muscle reactions." :V
