I know it seems like a risky plan but I think its well worth it, I am unsure how appearance works tho. Do we get a picture or description? I can do either but I want to be sure.

This is a plan for a summoner Knock build, which goes well with being a spymaster for the cult. I don't want to take scarred, because you have to pay health to enter the White Door in the Mansus. We might also have combat encounters in the Mansus, and I would rather not die due to having too little health. Still taking frightened because we shouldn't be seeing combat (hopefully).

This version has us have an actual job for more money, but less free time, and possible plausible deniability if we get caught snooping. I switched out the old money for librarian parents for intrigue and learning, and used the remaining coin for busting a gang operation which gives intrigue, and makes sense thematically.

Honestly, after the shitshow that was picking an enemy I'm somewhat leery of taking penalties, and while the special traits are nice I'm not terribly interested in them.

The absolute number one trait we need to focus on is Health, as that is something difficult increase once the Quest properly starts. This build focuses on maximizing Health alongside Diplomacy to ensure both survival and an early lead towards gaining more Confidants.

The bonuses are stacked to allow us to start well-liked with a decent amount of say in our local community. Everything is decided to give us a greater chance at obtaining that sweet, sweet friendship AP. This character also starts with a massive amount of six Health (assuming a base of three). With six total Health, something as "critical" as two wounds can be put off for another turn, as the four remaining health is still more than that of an average person.

The controversial choice here is the "Compromised" drawback. However, I firmly believe that owing a debt to the master is a drawback worth taking. Primarily, it secures our loyalty to our cult early on, so we won't need to spend actions working against it. Additionally, friendship AP will offset the "cost" of any favors if that debt ever cashed in.

In the case of our Cult Master being someone we do not want to be indebted to, our Cult's Heart is to an advantage. We would simply need a bit of Forge to lean on a certain secret once whispered to the Lionsmith, and our traits would let us survive the aftermath while maintaining a strong base.

UPDATE: Added to this plan is the combination of Frightened and Intuitive, as that pair plays into this build's traits while also providing a bonus to Summoning. Intuitive is invaluable when it comes to performing rituals and summoning creatures, as it not only provides the +5 bonus, but the Piety stacks onto to that as well. But, to pay for Intuitive, Frightened is chosen as an additional complication. The -10 Combat potential somewhat hurts, but Frightened can be removed via ritual (helped by the Intuitive trait), and this character has so much Health that the malus is offset simply by how many wounds can be sustained.

If we can't win, we absolutely will be able to flee.

I do really like the idea of a flower shop owner that's also a cultist (We can get a new bouquet for the leader every meeting!) , but ultimately I just want a female protag this time.

Maybe it could even be a flower café now that I think about it.

Edit: Realised that being traumatised doesn't fit the Flower Shop aesthetic, so replaced it with compromised. What's more flower shop AU-y, being traumatised or being helped out by friends after falling into a tough spot? I think the answer is clear.
