It unlocks Earth-based classes, it has a powerful and team-friendly skill and the AI likes it.

The 'Ridiculous Luck' stoner, that buffs others in his party.

Should match up well with Earth Based Class:

The Dude Abides

Hear me out: the only stipulation for scion of Zree is touching a member of that race to turn into one. I think later on we may be able to plan out a way for him to touch a god without dying.

If a gods grandkid is a strong enough race to be an option, I can't help but imagine that a god (buffed up slightly) would be even better. Plus, I imagine the Zree will happily endorse this plan, as it would look really good for them to have a god on the crawl without even bothering to go to the 12th floor.

Plus, you know a guaranteed celestial is always an insane backup plan. We just wait until someone else triggers the first celestial woopsie then nab it.

Getting to level 31 will be hard, but if the next floors are similar to OG DCC then the iron tangle will be *perfect* for Drew to level, even as a worm

so you expect us to wait until the next floor where
spoiler and spoiler angers an outside faction?
Just to say that it's a brazen plan and all, but dear god, I suppose we can also trigger a fire elemental by pissing in the dungeon if we really want a walking powerhouse to copy if we get that race for Drew.

Actually, how pretty is a worm exactly? Just pondering if it would lower our ratings by a boatload or not. (Oh boy, the description for a baby worm does not sound good.)
Also, there's the fact that you're stuck with several disadvantages until finally you get to cocoon with the end form of whatever you touch and chose.

Death from someone opening your cocoon might be the most embarrassing part of this thing, though.

In conclusion: while a cool and massive flex to cart a worm around through the dungeon, it'd be painfully hard to keep him alive. No, thanks, says I.

Wait, you're totally right! We can absolutely get him a rage elemental race! I don't know if that would be better than say a gravity elemental, I kinda think the rage elementals are only so strong due to their high level though.

All we need is someone to piss on a stairwell with Drew riding Moose nearby, ready to use his charge skill to go through/past the elemental and into the staircase, touching it on the way.

No reason to wait. If you choose the Celestial box option, it is added to your inventory immediately. You can't actually take it out until you pay the 5M gold, but you don't have to wait for anything.

I don't particularly want to deal with the salt of broken expectations, so I'll say this: the next recap episode is going to announce that the "piss in the halls, get a Rage Elemental" rule has been revoked.

Probably a safer, theoretical way to get a decent race.

Fucking with a punishment system set up by the AI could be really dangerous: The AI could fuck back.
Imagine the above plan, but the AI disables the Stairwell for 1 min in reaction to the unclean action. (in addition to the other things)

We should ask the AI if "AI Cleric/Warlock" is a viable class, maybe with something akin to Wild Magic mechanics?

I read the whole story. This is good. It really gives me the same feeling the source material does.

As fun as a Pot smoking Pixie would be....

Spirit of Magic is bad. There is no question about it.

It would be amazing if the floors lasted as long as a season usually do, but the Fish is speed running stuff and this class rewards longer time on each floor.

@Toboe and @kalugin : Could I ask y'all to change your votes to simply 'Scion of the Zree' with that exact spelling? You have slight variations on that and it screws up the tally.

Toboe, Omusa has never attended your sessions in person and, unless they do, there's no way to shake their hand.

In addition to what others have mentioned, this gives an advantage for us to team up with others temporarily since it will help them be more combat effective and gain XP. Also, it's a bit of insurance against betrayal since others won't want to mess with the guy whose giving them this benefit or his friends.

In addition, I think that higher levels of the Smoke Form might be more complementary. A disadvantage of the Storm Merge benefit is that you lose fine manipulation. If I understand correctly, at higher levels, Drew will be able harden smoke into what behaves like a solid object as well as move it around as he can now. That could give some level of manipulation although I don't know how fine.

NGL spirit of magic would be pretty good... for anybody who doesn't want to do any magic at all. They could use their magic as health instead of having to cast with it and could teach their allies new spells.
I really want to vote for Kitsune, but I don't think we'll get it and Tir Inqua is just an incredible AOE buff.
Gravity elemental would be tempting, but the lack of eyes could wreak havoc on our social numbers. It's DEEPLY unsettling for a lot of people and since most available races have eyes, I assume it's the same for a lot of aliens.

With approval voting you can vote for both your favourite (but unlikely) and the best you think could plausibly happen.

Note here that a lot of us has voted for several of the options.

I'm trying to think what are the best races from Canon we could potentially get with the Scion. Emberus is a God and has a big part on floor 5, in canon it turns into an event that all crawlers participate in, I can't remember if touching him there, assuming it goes like that, would even be possible.

Agatha is hinted to be some kind of alien undercover as a human. Signet is a half naiad/ half high elf and she's pretty powerful. The crawler Elle has a fae race that evolves as she goes up levels (the transformation train has no brakes). The trains in the Tangle are powered by Fire elementals. Bautista has beanie baby things that summon creatures, the high rarity ones are really powerful. Think there's some powerful npcs/guides hanging around in the clubs too.
