DtG: Destroy the Godmodder (The Broken Masquerade)

15 Charges

I welcome the bullet kin onto the field and quickly apologize about that one instance of raiding the Gungeon at one point. I wasn't certain if we traded shots during that raid, but I still apologize as it was still quite rude to have raided someone's home.

Taking a look at my unpolished staff, I quickly discern the main source of dirty coating that was growing on the staff. In the small dilation bubble, millions of years had gone by without any attention on the solidifying Healium and with a concept being solidified, an unknown phenomenon can cause other concepts to naturally form close to them, after a good amount of time of course.

The concept that found itself coating the Healium happened to be negligence. As the many years of no one to carefully watch its formation into what it has become had attracted the concept and started to form itself around the solidifying metal. The concept grew more numerous as the years had come by, but that won't be necessary much longer.

Pushing my feelings and concept of care into a heavy-duty cloth and water which I conjured, I finally take the time to give the staff the care as I proceed to polish away the Negligence with Care. The unfinished staff greedily bathes in the water and attention I give it and proceed to absorb the concept of care into itself. The staff's colors become brighter as it shines in a more welcoming light.

Main Concept: Healing
Minor Concept: Support, Care

Well, even if they saw it, that still leaves plan b: hoping that it's either sufficiently obtuse in purpose for them not to destroy it, or sufficiently unimportant.
anyway.
Oh my goodness science world? I mean I don't Personally care that much about science world, but 1) it's the principal of the thing and 2) I still want to steal body parts from P5.
So I tell my researchers to pack up, and send a clone to teleport to science world. once they find it, I create a dimensional bounduary around the entire facility and envelope it in a gate for ~1/109389 of a second. since it's all inside the gate, this is enough time for it to arrive.

The facility does, however, leave behind an open gate of the variety just invented. as soon as they leave, out begin to pour a stream of Templar Guards. for niceness!...?

I use my plus nine for this action: I grab a notebook out of my pocket and type "rock" into it. This causes a rock to appear, and after that I type "large golden smart chicken" causing a large gold colored chicken to appear that is also smart to appear. then I tap the "large golden smart chicken" causing the phrase to appear again an then remove large. This causes it to shrink back to normal. Anyways now that you know what this notebook can do I write "real giant golden scaly smart crazy jumping sentient powerful fast super fire-proof water-proof acid-proof sharp sword" and use the resulting item to to cut the godmodder in half.

There are too many entities on the field. To fix that, I super-glue a bunch of Escort Ships together into one big ship: the Toros. You're welcome, Dirk.
Escort Ships merges into a megaship!

I take a look at the harpoon line as it should have hit something by now and let it start reeling the catch in by pressing a button. It should be here in the next turn as I'll need that focus that is going to be used for my staff.

With that small thing done, I pull my attention back unto the casted Healium. The liquid Healium itself has finally settled, but at its current heat, it would take hundreds of millions of years before it can solidify into its new shape. Luckily, I have reality warping powers, which I dub as "Player" powers. I conveniently use it to surround the mold in a time dilation pocket and those years go out the window as quickly reaches the final stages of it solidifying and absorbing the remaining concept of support.

I release the staff out of the weakened mold! Now I need to polish and refine it and wait for the magical focus to get here...

Oh shoot! Science World?
Some of my best co-researchers are there!
I'd better go defend them.

I and my entities immediately set out for Science World.
You vote to go to science world! Let's see if everyone else will go too.
27/40 Archailect angelnet integration nanotechnology noises (+9 Gdama)

Use psychic powers and throwing a bunch of nets on it to convince the rainforest of the Amazonian Ecosystem it's been kidnapped, so the pro-godmodder entities coming out will be confused at the forest acting like it's been kidnapped and/or waste time chopping down nets and stuff, so we at least know they're there instead of facing constant surprise attacks.

How does a rainforest react to being kidnapped? How should I know? I'm just making it think that.
You send the Amazonian Ecosystem into a frenzy, causing everything in the ecosystem to be on edge!
20/40

Whoops Guess I should start smaller

I condense some Life Aspect from the Amazonian Ecosystem,slightly weakening its PG Monsters production,as well as grab a random staff-like stick and Flash Enchant it to become a Staff of Healing,I then extract 1 HP of my Lifeforce,Ouch

Spaceship to examine why the Amazonian is producing PG Monsters and not AG ones as well
You attempt to tap into the Amazonian Ecosystem, but it's like poking a needle into a high-pressure hose: You get a faceful of life energies in your face, causing you to contract cancer. This causes the rest of your action to fail.
Entities ordered!
28/40 Archailect, now with more Archailect and wormholes

Attack the godmodder with telephonesis, spamming her phone with telemarketing, random texts, and various app notifications! Maybe she'll check her phone while she's dodging everything. No, I'd rather not buy her Godmodder Scout Cookies, delicious as they are.
Godmodder slightly distracted!
36/40
~~~~~~~~~~
Before I leave, I give the Godmodder something to remember me by: a pie in the face.
She wipes it off, sure, but then there's another one.
Again, she wipes it off. The next one hits from behind.
Enraged, she whirls around, only for two more pies to hit her from the direction she was formerly facing.
Seeking a target, she charges at me, only to trigger a vine trap that... hurls a pie into her face.
As she slashes and hacks at vines, trying to reach me while disabling further traps, each one triggers a complex device that hurls a pie at her face.
Finally, she reaches my former location and comes face to face with... a PIE-GREMLINATOR, which promptly explodes, coating the Godmodder in pie filling once more.
More of a joke item when compared to most of my devices, the PIE-GREMLINATOR is a mischievous robot that will pie its target in the face using increasingly inventive methods until caught, at which point it will self-destruct in a shower of pie filling. Great at parties, let me tell you.
1 damage to the Godmodder, but she receives 8 doses of pie filling to her candy gauge!
Astrec gets up, and enters another spaceship tethered too his base. He enters the coordinates, and telepops (after cloaking) to the ship. He scans the ship, observing what's going on, noting all assess points, defenses, personal, size, all of it.
((OOC: DCCCV, can you provide that stuff))
---Battlefield---
A sizable bullet shaped spacecraft descends to the field. It's door opens, and a ramp comes down. Two figures descend from it. Those who have Entered the Gungeon would recognize them as denizens of the Gungeon, namely a Shotgun Kin with a short red cape, and a Pinhead wearing a small lightish-dark green hood.
Hah! We're finally here! This'll be fun!
Please don't try and eat the Godmodder again this time. You know how that ended up last time.
Yeah yeah, I know.
Anyway, hey Godmodder! We of the Gungeon are here to battle you, for revenge for the Gungeon or something you did, like, I think you attacked the Gungeon, or... uh... was that another guy? Uh, well, we, uh....
Gun.
Yeah, that.
Let's just shoot some PGs already.
Yep.
The Shotgun Kin proceeds to run up to Godmodder and flip a table into their face. Said table glares at him after getting back, then leave the battlefield.
The ship is much smaller than the Parallax, but is about four times larger than yours. It is covered in scratches, and metallic spheres move across it's surface, weaving complex patterns across a very smooth, almost liquid hull. There seems to be no entrance, and any divination fail to discern anything inside. Still, it just screams cargo ship.
The table is flipped, and leaves!
You slice at the Godmodder, but a monsterpig conveniently jumps in the way, taking 50k damage!
21/40
I apply the analyse the Healing metal to better learn how to heal the Machines on our side
Healing Metal is infused with energies from the Elemental Plane of Life, which allows it to regenerate at a slow, but steady rate.
Since only two people voted to go to Science World, we can't go until most of everyone is onboard with the idea. I'm not going to let you split up to take on P5 while other people are fighting the Godmodder simultaneously. It'll be too hard for me to keep track, and you'll be overwhelmed for sure. I hope you understand my rationale.
Two Monsterpigs attack the Sniper for 60k damage, and one of them attacks another for 60k because of the I-Hand. The Godmodder fires a stream of lasers from her eyes, dealing 70k damage to the Millenium Falcon, Lunar Matriarch, Big Fish, Minelayer, I-Hand, Thorgi, Boredom Gollem, and JOE! Meanwhile, more entities stream out of the Amazonian Ecosystem.
-9 AG Morale, +4 PG Morale.
The facility continues to work, Draco attacks a monsterpig for 50k, and the Spaceship searches the Amazonian Ecosystem for any strange. Just before she's about to give up, she sets her eyes upon a child, racing through the jungle on a BMX. In the middle of one of his flawless flips between some hanging vines, he turns his head towards her.
"HI"
He then disappears back into the underbrush.
The Winds of Destruction deal 70k to a Monsterpig, the LUnar Matriarch heals MGR for a reduced 25k health because of it's metallic nature, Metal Gear Rex and Aspect of Air deal 212k damage to a Monsterpig. Big Fish deals 6k to all PG entities, followed by 80k to a single Monsterpig. The I Hand and Sniper deal another 100k to it, followed by the Meteor Monster swallowing it up. Lunar Knight casts Lunar Fall, dealing 120k to a Monsterpig, while Lunar Knight heals everyone for 2k with her special! The Toros deals 80k to a Titanic Cow, and Lesser Fire Elemental Squad B becomes Fire Elemental Squad A.
Yet again, the view cuts to another story.
Tales of a certain entity, told they have been: A thing of cyan ice bearing the shape of a heart, yet heartful it is not. Possess the heart of many a being it did, a chilly husk of their former self the victim becomes. Such aftermaths the being is only known for. Rhymes and reasons behind this misdeed, tangibility they lack; at mere whims the being makes new victims. And victims indeed lay, not in its wake, but sporadic they do.
And thus, the being, its existence become unwelcomed.
Mercenaries scouring material rewards, wizards wishing to study the being, heroes stepping in to truly vanquish it, these and many such offbeats to end this creature were sent. But, identities unregarded, each one no return occurred. The worst, that it can be assumed.
While stumped the people are, the being, its energy only rises, and its actions a dump for it they become.
"Make this world's heart mine own, why don't I?"
And so, that deed in line it is next. But...fun, nor laxing this task the being did not find; the world, its heart an impenetrable thing of warmth the being found it to be. Forceful the being found itself ejecting from the world's heart, too forceful, in fact, that far away from the world the being found itself in. Lost in empty darkness, the being now is. Vanquished by its own foolishness, the people of the world did not expect its fate to be.
And thus, closed now are the curtains on this being's story.
Cutting back to the battlefield, well, standard fare still. Another object appears from the horizon: a heart-shaped piece of cyan ice makes its way into the concoction within the jet-black cauldron.
More changes to the concoction occur; its coloring changed to that of envy tint, and so do the vines. What's more, these vines seem to have become quite frigid.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Jet Black Cauldron Concoction:
- "Mana"
- Strange Ball of Fire
- Evergrowing Seed
+ Heartfreeze Ice
Pretty close to finishing up the staff now, but it still isn't finished. I still need a magical focus... which I sent an auto-homing harpoon to look for these qualities a while ago:
The Target must have a material that is:
I do vote to move to Science World though, as the Godmodder will likely be attracted into finishing an invasion herself if we keep blocking her attempts if we can keep the attrition of her forces higher than her replacement rate. We've made enough of a mess on her weird signal base place, time to go protect what we're supposed to be saving.
Arbiter, while I understand that you can't keep pace with all these separate battlefields, 'us being overwhelmed' is a possibility we don't really know what we're getting into. Can you pull up some information on the composition of the Godmodder's reserve forces (and/or how we can actually, y'know, lose and/or die here) in advance so we can see what we're running into, then? No use letting us vote into the fray anyway without preparation.
...And as a matter between us all and you, how would sending some insurgency seeders to keep dear Miz Godmodder's factory lines busy crushing rebellions away from the main battlefield(s) be on your work schedule? If we're all tied up fighting her proxy fleet, she can just build a second one and go kill somewhere else while we're picking at her, which is what's happening here. I acknowledge it being emotionally distressing to think about how successful she really is, but if that's 'an empire which rules most of the multiverse, actually integrating its conquered peoples into a greater whole' in all but the most decayed of circumstances, or even 'a serious military-industrial complex in a mostly functional setting' as opposed to 'a big horde that crushes stuff but won't self-replenish'...mass production capacity's going to crush us, or just as importantly all the people we're supposed to be helping, in the long run unless we're really good at this. Unless she's team-handedly doing the paperwork of an empire in the middle of fighting us all I'm thinking she's got governance, power-made individuals, and contingency plans out the wazoo keeping those nations she's crushed hers in event of her incapacitation or failure we have to face eventually, so if I'm wrong we should probably learn that earlier rather than later if you've got the influence and records for it.
The Fabber tries to make it a bigger portal. Aron starts planning a healer-equipped upgrade for guard drones. Jason codes in its use, James helps aron plan it, and Steffan does his best to work out any practical issues from adding another features.
I think the facility isn't regenerating fast enough. I cover the floor in a layer of mashed potatoes, which I then dry, turning it solid, before carving more repair glyphs into it, which power themselves with the left-over ambient magic, just like the previous layer (i needed a new layer for the glyphs because you can't draw a glyph on a glyph.)
Suddenly, there is a wooden door in the middle of... whatever location that tropical rainforest is in. Said door is without warning kicked open by a guy wearing a lab coat, safety goggles, winter boots, and some other less-relevant things.
"Someone said something about going to Science Land?" I shout, "What are we waiting for, LET'S GO! Oh, there's a vote? I see sorry." I somewhat-meekly slink behind a nearby rock, especially now that I realize I have only the slightest idea what's going on in this madhouse wreckage of the multiverse.
Well, I might as well try to make myself useful somehow. That rainforest is Godmodder work, right? And one thing I AM sure of is that godmodder work is bad news. Thus, I reach into hammerspace for my RPCL (Rocket Propelled Chainsaw launcher) and start launching rocket-propelled chainsaws to scythe down the undergrowth. Hopefully this will do something useful.
Tank:
High HP, no standard ATK
4-5 AC
Blocks attacks on all other members of the group.
Retaliates with 10% damage counterattack
Healer:
Regular: Heals the lowest-HP member of the group
Special: A larger heal on a cooldown
Melee:
Medium HP, high ATK
Attacks in melee
Special: Hits multiple enemies with the same ATK
Ranged:
Low HP, medium ATK
Hides behind Tank at all times
Attacks from ranged
Special: Overclocks one other member of the team, causing them to perform better.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
METAL GEAR REX, unless anyone objects, will use its special this round.

Meanwhile, I fire a dozen railgun projectiles at the Monsterpigs.
Entities summoned and ordered, you deal 7k damage to each Monsterpig!
Charge 36/40 (+3 boost)
---------------------------------------------------------------
Entities:

HP: 400,000
EoTB Actions:
1. Calls in 4 of his underlings and 1 Hired Mussel(props to DCCCV for that name) as minor entities on the field.
Underling:
HP: 10,000
Attack: 2,000
Hired Mussel:
HP: 25,000
Attack: 5,000

2. Unleashes a barrage of attacks with all of his weaponry, each one having a unique property over the others.
AK-47: Fires 30 bullets that hit random opposing enemies, each dealing 500 damage for a total of 15,000.
Grenade: Tosses a grenade to a target that deals 20,000 damage to a single entity, or a distributed total of 40,000 to a horde entity.
Golden Revolver: Fires 3 targeted shots at 3 targets, dealing 5,000 each for a total of 15,000.
Sword Cane: Assaults 1 target with a flurry of slashes, dealing 30,000.

More attacking. AK-47 bullets all over the enemy side, Grenade on the Monsterpigs, Golden Revolver shots and Sword Cane flurry to finish off any surviving enemies.

HP: 180,000
EoTB Actions:
1. Devours an enemy whole if there's none currently inside it. Enemies inside cannot attack anything but the Meteor Monster itself and also take 60,000 damage per turn from the many traps that lurk inside the creature. The Meteor Monster is free to attack other opponents whilst having an enemy devoured. If the enemy inside dies, the Meteor Monster's HP is restored by 30% of the enemy's total health, capped at 50,000 HP restored per enemy.
2. Ravage an opponent, dealing 60,000 damage.

The Monsterpig inside the Meteor Monster is assaulted whilst the creature itself attacks any available enemy.

HP: 250,000
EoTB Actions:
- Attack an enemy for 60,000.
Specials:
- Each EoTB, a random enemy entity, due to impulsive "muscle" manipulation, will accidentally attack one of its allies as their EoTB action.
- Has a passive 10% chance to dodge, or rather, cause the assailant to impulsively miss.

The I-Hand claws at an available enemy.

I apparently have this guy under my name.

The Sniper takes an aimed shot at any available enemy.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Yet again, the view cuts to another story.

Tales of a certain entity, told they have been: A thing of cyan ice bearing the shape of a heart, yet heartful it is not. Possess the heart of many a being it did, a chilly husk of their former self the victim becomes. Such aftermaths the being is only known for. Rhymes and reasons behind this misdeed, tangibility they lack; at mere whims the being makes new victims. And victims indeed lay, not in its wake, but sporadic they do.

And thus, the being, its existence become unwelcomed.

Mercenaries scouring material rewards, wizards wishing to study the being, heroes stepping in to truly vanquish it, these and many such offbeats to end this creature were sent. But, identities unregarded, each one no return occurred. The worst, that it can be assumed.

While stumped the people are, the being, its energy only rises, and its actions a dump for it they become.

"Make this world's heart mine own, why don't I?"

And so, that deed in line it is next. But...fun, nor laxing this task the being did not find; the world, its heart an impenetrable thing of warmth the being found it to be. Forceful the being found itself ejecting from the world's heart, too forceful, in fact, that far away from the world the being found itself in. Lost in empty darkness, the being now is. Vanquished by its own foolishness, the people of the world did not expect its fate to be.

And thus, closed now are the curtains on this being's story.

Cutting back to the battlefield, well, standard fare still. Another object appears from the horizon: a heart-shaped piece of cyan ice makes its way into the concoction within the jet-black cauldron.

More changes to the concoction occur; its coloring changed to that of envy tint, and so do the vines. What's more, these vines seem to have become quite frigid.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Jet Black Cauldron Concoction:
- "Mana"
- Strange Ball of Fire
- Evergrowing Seed
+ Heartfreeze Ice
---------------------------------------------------------------
Also +1 on Science World
Thank you for voting, heart of ice placed into the cauldron.

Alright, so scans indicate that Science World is experiencing extremely anomalous activity at the moment. Reports say that they are currently being attacked by, and I quote, "A giant army of shadow wizards." Welcome to the war, you've just voted to go to Science World, and you cut down the undergrowth! Ass you do so, you reveal the boy on the BMX.
"HI AM I LATE"
"I SEE YOUVE MET MY FRIENDS"

(Yes, yes you do.)

The Godmodder smiles at the sight of the boy on the BMX. "Right on time."

One Monsterpig defects, but the other makes their roll. They are crushed by a titanic cow, but the remaining cow retaliates against the I-Hand for 100k damage, while the Monsterpig inside the Meteor Monster thrashes about for 60k damage. The Godmodder herself attacks Lunar Matriarch, Lunar Knight, Lunar Priest, Big Fish, Toros, Elder Fire Elementals and Drone Factory for 80k each.

Since you've reached a majority consensus to attack Science World, I then let you all gate there. You have now been teleported to Science World, the Muiltiverse's foremost research facility, a planet-sized multilevel observatory, built around a neutronium sphere holding it all together. You are currently on Level 10, because of Science World's extensive antiteleport mechanisms barring any further transport. As you, dark apparitions begin to phase through the floor beneath you.

Charge 38/40

AK-47 bullets all over the enemy side, Grenade on the Shadow Wizards, Golden Revolver shots and Sword Cane flurry to one of them.

The Monsterpig inside the Meteor Monster is killed, its corpse serving as nutrients for the creature. The Meteor Monster itself attacks a Shadow Wizard.

The I-Hand claws at a Shadow Wizard.

I apparently have this guy under my name.

The Sniper takes an aimed shot at a Shadow Wizard.

Yet again, the view cuts to another story.

Once upon a time, a tempest, childishly naughty as it is, flew through space, visiting many planets, doing bad deeds to each one of them.

He stole things from people, blew away buildings, and made it very cold outside.

Such a naughty tempest, wasn't he?

His bad deeds didn't seem like they were going to stop soon, and people were growing tired of his antics.

And so, they went and asked the benevolent king, the King of Galaxies, to put an end to this tempest's misdoings.

The King of Galaxies listened to the people's pleas, promising to indeed stop the tempest.

And so, he approached the tempest and tells it to stop, but the tempest refused to listen.

So, the King of Galaxies then grabs the naughty tempest and fashions him into a ball.

Then, he threw the tempest off and away, to where he will never bother people again, and so the people cheered.

The End.

A gray ball of wind whizzes through the battlefield and into the jet black cauldron, causing quite a splash in its entry.

Not much of a change occurs within the envy-colored concoction. It does seem to be expelling quite the cool air around it now.

Jet Black Cauldron Concoction:
- "Mana"
- Strange Ball of Fire
- Evergrowing Seed
- Heartfreeze Ice
+ Childish Tempest

Down we go! All my entities and I will go down as far as possible.

Meanwhile, I attempt to interface with the Science World surveillance network and determine the composition and location of the forces ahead of us.
