World-end ballad. This timeline is running out of future history. I harvest what remains beyond the event horizon, refine it into the Armor Crusher technique, and with the black bullet blade that does more damage to those with more armor I harm Nikolai-Labolas. Some defense just makes you more vulnerable as the curtains fall.

  • [0x] The following will be a series of questions which will allow Adam to communicate anything he would like to communicate up to a character limit of 300 characters and then to communicate any insight he has into the tenets (particularly the Tetris and Virdescent) within 300 more characters. I just ask him what letter he would say one letter at a time. the overwhelming majority component here is "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz." repeated 600 times. just like last time, skip actually reading it.
If Adam could speak freely, the first letter of his speech would be a.
    ...b.
    ...c.
    ...d.
    ...e.
    ...f.
    ...g.
    ...h.
    ...i.
highlight the letter(s) you would highlight if it had been written out in full.
    jklmnopqrstuvwxyz.
if Adam could speak freely within 300 characters, the second letter of his speech would be the letter highlighted in this sequence: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz.
    highlight the third... abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz.
    highlight the fourth... abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz.

  • Meanwhile, in the past!
[0x] I should probably give my past self and Srovy advice. yep. Siiiilently.
"Srovy! Since you're invincible right now, look at All the Endermen! that way they'll spend all their actions on doing nothing! Past me! it turns out the yellow thing was actually a terrible idea! Don't do it in the future!"
...Maybe I should've phrased that differently. Or not mentioned it at all. I don't think he was going to use it but that distracted him... Well, he's past me! He'll manage. Assuming he's as excessively confident in himself as I am!
[1x] Goshdarn it why does a living apocalypse have to be so strong- well. I'd better continue to surpass all limits! yes! that is definitely something I'm doing!
Sometimes it's a good thing that things happen in a certain order in Time0 or whatever. Like, for instance, this action didn't happen until after Adam helpfully informed me that the Tenets are dangerous. So, the Tenets will take over my body if I use them, hm. this is how Adam got Bad, mmm? Badam-Tss. Anyway. I can't have the Tenets taking over my body! That would Suck. I hate it when things take over my body. Huge pain.
    ...
    wait I didn't bring my-
alright that might be a bit more relevant right now in particular but I'm going to just solve that. You see, all I need to do in order to not suffer the side effects of using the Tetris is not use the Tetris. You might think this deprives me of the ability to benefit from the tetris. This would be a wrong thought. I just need someone else to use the tetris who is not me.
On a hunch and a whim, I run over to the Templar City, teleport through the walls, and grab a random Miner, then drag him over to the battlefield. I then do a sort of complicated mental exercise to partially disassociate the Power-copying Descendant 'spark' from my mind- I still have absolute control over it, but if I'm not contesting him this random miner I grabbed can use the rest of this action for me.
I direct the miner (via convenient sign) to use the Yellow Tetris powers to find the location of Dungkaka, the Shadell Estate, and the Genesis Library; and then use the rest of this action to teleport my left pinky to the estate, my right pinky to the library, and Dungkaka to here. Once the task is complete(or once he clearly isn't doing it, I guess), I retract my disassociation. Technically speaking, I, DefJOE, did not use the Tetris. My physical body did not, my mind did not, and I specifically grabbed another guy who isn't me so my soul probably didn't either, depending on what a soul is exactly. And since I asked a very specific question which I will immediately know the falseness of if the answer is false, there's no room for manipulation either, making this a completely safe way to obtain the benefits of Tetris without actually using it.

[0x] Say can Adam highlight my text from in the past? I'd like to know: Was Earth destroyed by BRINE before or after the point in time where I'm fighting him? I ask because I get the feeling there's at least two useful items there, you see. something to do with... pastry and rocks? that sounds about right.
oh uh better make that a statement. Earth was destroyed by brine before the point in time where I'm fighting him. Earth was destroyed by Brine after this point. and also, The Pastry and Rock items I'm thinking of are intact as I ask this question.

[1x] I get the feeling I'm going to be out of commission in a bit. call it a premonition. It's not like any of the Endermen could, individually, look at me and (with Alph's backlash- That wasn't even supposed to be an attack!) take me down. Hopefully I'll autorevive at full...ish... charge like in the future, but I can't count on it. And that means I need to change some things.
Specifically, the Barrier Weather. strictly speaking, half the effect consists of me moving people out of the way reactively(the other half is a spell doing it automatically). If I'm about to "McHeckin Die", as they say in the biz, then I might not be able to maintain that half. So it's time to use whatever I happen to have handy to fix that! What do I have handy? 24 Charges and 12 HP of Elemental Magic! This Elemental Magic is 100% made of me. I can infer this from the following: 1 player charge is infinity HP (this is why the Konami Code only gave me 30 charges, and not 30x30 charges). 1 HP is a finite amount of HP. (Infinity-finity)=Infinity, so (Infinity-Finity)/Infinity=Infinity/Infinity=1, or 100%.
Since it's 100% made of me, it's definitely going to do what I say. This would also be true if it was 66% made of me, but DETAILS. The important thing is that I am using that Magic to upgrade the Barrier weather! Now it's automatic! Faster! Better! Stronger! Smarter! I can do it! I have the Magitechnomagy! Mitigate the damage more! Specifically, mitigate it completely! Mitigate More of it! Trick attackers into punching Alph because Alph was supposed to be a defence/healing effect first and an attack last if at all because come on sacred rivers aren't weapons! Throw in some illusions for good measure! Woo!

    [1x] Hm.

It looks like Past Me could use some help.
    (WRITING IN PROGRESS)
  • [First Action] I start charging my Release Blade with Astral. ...
Why aren't you objecting? I shouldn't really be able to do this right now, because I can't use the Astral Element.
Pain. Oh. Right... At least y-"Srovy! Since you're invincible right now, look at All the Endermen! that way they'll spend all their actions on doing nothing! Past me! it turns out the yellow thing was actually a terrible idea! Don't do it in the future!" ...
...Mnggh... 'lright, 'lriWhy the heck would he tell me to do a thing and say it was a good idea, then immediately tell me it was a terrible idea? Isn't he supposed to be my future self- Shouldn't he already know all of this? Why would he tell me t-this completely damages my ability to trust his claims! To trust your claims. ...Yes. I guess I should be less confident in my beliefs. And act More confident in y-no. I'm not sure why exactly but that can't be a good idea. Well, sure, it's an unstable equilibrium societally! But if you're doing it to yourself it's more like just using a different language, and doing it to reality is fine because the reality-warper powerset is basically about lying to reality anyway, anyway gotta go! ...What was I doing earlier?... right. I start charging my releae blade with astral. y'have a reason that's not just bullshit right... Of course! I use the Glyph Chestplate! Glyph is Astral plus Order, so I can use the Glyph Chestplate to manipulate Astral Energy! especially because glyphs can do anything...I don't think the glyph chestplate... actually uses the glyph element. It's ambiguous and this version is convenient! But also come on look at the heirloom list- Order Boots, Void Helmet, Glyph Chestplate, and unnamed rock-controling chestplate! They're clearly elementally themed, and why would that b... ...Snake pants. Those might've been plant based! ...ugggh, fine, I don't care...
...Hope you stop feeling pain soon. but like not because of death, because of healing. Anyway uh right. I use the Glyph Chestplate as a source of Astral Energy and let the waste Order Energy float away freely, allowing me to charge my release blade. Now- did I explain this to Adrasta yet? Sort of technically a few months from now but basically no! What does that... Alright. So, the release blades... are inspired by a thing I read and the main takeaway is that the archetypical release blade is specially designed to be able to channel not just a lot of energy, but Opposing energies- in the original case, basically Fire, and Water, to create an extremely edge-case collision right at the tip of the sword for huge explosions. It doesn't really make sense because Fire and Water have a well-defined combination, buWell, they do combine into an explosion! ...ahem. But the point is that, aside from just releasing lots of energy at once, release blades are at their best when you release Opposed energy types, which is what triggers a Logic Break- a period where temporarily, some logical thing stops being true. Like templar armor behaving like normal clay, or other things. It does take quite a bit of energy, though. There's no range limit, and the reason this avoids being a problem is I think there are literally only the two Release Blades in existence? Probably everyone else gets scared off by the part where you stick some of your soul in it! And also got roadblocked by the part where you have to get it forged by one specific guy on another planet which they don't know exist and which doesn't have elementalism and- why are you interrupting me so much? It's funny!
[Second Action] And I keep charging blood energy into the Blade, too... gh. y'doin okay? the dragon didn't hit you- yeah I'm not injured, just too much power from the.... yellow thing. I'll be fine as long as I use it by the end of this... bit... So you know how future me said to look at the endermen? how exactly is that related to what- It's not, I'm multitasking- You have Astral- Perception, same thing y'know- right now, because sidequest, and just looking is a free action, so, use it to steal the Endermens teleport powers from them, alright? ...Okayyyy? Look that attack got you halfway to death, we know I'll respawn but- okay, okay.

    [1x]|[Third Action + 40 CP]
    Gh- I can't hold 55 Charges. It's too much-
For the person I'm( You're) pretending to be.

    View: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19SuYmqhpIYEy7Us1hs5-ZA5ad975SY87/view?usp=sharing
Stop being the character and start being the Playwrite. That's a stupid metaphor, how is this even a play. I'm pretty sure you already know what I'm referencing. Maybe, but still, no. Fine. Ahem.
Did you notice the sky was shining Red?
Yeah? This sure is a tangen-Did you stop to wonder why? Well, Red Apocalypse Dragon, it doesn't- The dragon is here. On the floor. Where is the red light coming from? di-It can't have left a glowing red trail, you'd see it in the air here. It's not coming from the Dragon. But it is Because of the Dragon. This world is more than a place, it is a person, and that person is you. Stop pretending you're just a human body and take your place as more, or I'll take that place for you.
    Fine.
As you said, that red light is not just a scar in the sky. More like inflammation. the Dragon did leave a trail, but not a visible one- its passage Tore space. And yes, I admit I am- well, half the world. There goes the verisimilitude of the whole adventure, me. That went out the window as soon as I showed up. Fine. But what is admitting this supposed to accomplish? Do you think I was, what, holding back? Well, you didn't forcesummon the Templar Leaders or call the Gods. yeah because the Gods can't quite access the templar lands, that's the whole reason the sidequest started. And the leaders? I figured they'd get here when they'd get here and that we could probably hold out the few minutes that'll take if they'll be a help. So you weren't holding back entirely, but you clearly were holding back. Come on, you're not like, what, fifteen years old or whatever you're pretending, you're at your upteenth thousands. how is 55 charges your "limit"? So I pretended I needed to use them. Not holding back unless using them would've been a bad idea, which considering the attack power we're facing- Excuses. But I guess you're missing context. You know what we're fighting? An apocalypse dragon? Well, yes. But it's also a Terminus. What the heck is a terminus. It's an extremely strong being which could end th-Apocalypse Dragon. Well, yes. But it's also a living chunk of fabric of reality. The singular form of a Terminae.
Why didn't you just say that. I bet you were just as confused by that terminology the first time, you knew that was a bad explanation for me inANYWAY! We're descendants, ye? Power copiers! Let's copy the Terminus's powers! Except don't because they're all conceptually poisoned! ... Yeah it turns out that the Yellow Stuff from earlier could give expy bill cipher access to your body or whatever and similar for the green bullet things so basically don't use it ever. ...So do you have any advice that doesn't suck. Of course! let's copy the Terminaes powers! You just said that was a bad idea. No, I said using the Terminus's powers was a bad idea! I'm now saying we should copy the powers they share between them! those Can't be poisoned because there's like seven guys with the same power! Also, because they're more fundamental. See, Red Boi and probably also Expy Cipher haves the ability to assimilate more Fabric Of Reality into the Living Fabric Of Reality they are. Boy, this ability fits really well for us, doesn't it? You're already sort of the planet! Just be it more! So how is this actually going to hOoh! you need a personal reality chunk color! how about this? It's have my color and half yours! Sure doesn't look like it. that's just human eye weirdness, but fine! how about This? Whatever. I repeat, how is this actually going to help? How would it not help to fight dragoface on his level? Well he'd be, by definition, better at it than us. Well... yes. but not That much better. We can copy this ability from two different Terminae. And there are two of us! So that's a total of 16 to 80% of a Terminus! Are you sure that's how tAnyway even if it doesn't fully work out I'll bet it'll surprise whatshisface. Call it a hunch. Also, there's another reason you should do a big thing right now. Two, even. The first is it's way easier for big boi to deplete all this health if you don't. The second is that the yellow stuff might've been a bodysteal poison and that means we should expend it out of our collective selves as fast as possible just in case, which is why it's really a good thing I lost almost all of mine immediately by accident.
...Fine, I'll do your plan. I expend 40 charges to claim everywhere the Red Light touches as part of Me, not the Terminae I'm fighting, using the same principles and I help. the dragons powers, particularly the Green bits, are probably fundamentally predicated on its nature as such a being, so they probably don't work so well 'in here'; plus elemental magic and vintage and... stuff... is stronger here.

current notes: x2-self-combo-action. 55 charges is too much for the person JOE is pretending to be. The world that is Him labours not under such restriction. Let the sky open, and see what shall come. The red fissure was not the scar of BRINEs passage. That was the beginning of an immune response.

ALAN: Oh good, the drone's mostly self-directed. I was worried I'd have to figure out how to drive it.

The Engietech Drone, still listed as "Bodyguarding BUILDER·BADAM", continues to do that. Very aggressively.

ENGIETECH DRONE: "Get down, Mr. Ruler!"

The Engietech Drone tackles Badam, hundreds of kilograms of metal crashing down on him from above.

Then it starts bodyguarding Alan, in a normal non-crushing way.

-----

Everything the Red Dragon passes through becomes Elemental energy in his wake. Ground becomes Earth, Seas become Water. And the intelligent design underlying Xanadu... becomes Order.

Alan expends his charge token.

Shimmering white afterimages trail behind the wreckage, a portrait of Xanadu-that-was, Xanadu as it was put together, as it was supposed to be. Xanadu is shattered now, and Order does not like to be disturbed.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm summoning here, you know Xanadu better than I do. But it's probably an Order elemental, it's an embodiment of the intelligent design of Xanadu, it's on Alan's side, and it's not happy about Xanadu's impending destruction.

-----

Alan stares down the Iron Prince. He has armor, and given his name, it's probably armor made of iron. Transition metals like iron are a bunch of nuclei in a soup of shared electrons. A complete mess, compared to something like graphene or diamond. Alan forces the free electrons in the iron to pick an atom and stick to it, disrupting its chemical bonds. At the same time, he spins his staff like a fan, blowing Nikolai with air. The iron bonds to the oxygen in the air, oxidizing in an instant and causing his armor to rust and fall apart - no, to burn around him from the energy released from the reaction.

John wakes up, somewhat confused. How'd he end up on Xanadu? He looks around, before noticing Badam.

"Badam!" he exclaims, turning to the builder. "Good to see you buddy! I knew you cared! Taking a momentary pause on killing you, then? Excellent! Adam'll want me to give him his job back once your dead, anyways. I'd rather milk being King of Earth while I still can." John smiles. "Speaking of..."

John hops on his speaker platform and flies up to... wherever the red dragon is. He gives the red dragon the birdie, shouting, "YOU SUCK! That's right! You're a big idiot too, Salt-Breath! You gave me just what I wanted. I'm King of Earth, moron! And you ate Earth, right!? That death: it was a scouting mission! Totally. Now I know just where my turf is. I've just gotta wrestle it out of your gut. Don't you doubt me! I'll do it!" He raises his other hand, unnecessarily pointing. "BUT FIRST! I need to claim my throne! And you, Salt-Breath, gave me one of Adam's em-ploy-ee's!"

All Actions + 15 CP!: John flies down to Xanadu and comes face to face with the Xavier Elem. He pulls out two batons, pointing one at the Elemental and one away from him.

"Hey buddy!" John calls. "Sorry about your hands. I don't know what I'd do without mine." He spins the batons about in his hand, tapping them in the air like drumsticks. "But I'm not letting you off that easy, buddy. You've got a job to do. And I've got mine. Can't say it's been nice knowing you, but I guess we're about to find out."

He throws the two batons at once. The first flies off toward @Ender_Smirk, red staff lines spinning behind it. Upon reaching Smirk, the baton floats in front of him, beckoning for Smirk to take it. As Smirk examines it, John's voice shouts, "FOR PITY'S SAKE, SMIRK! HELP ME OUT FOR ONCE IN YOUR USELESS LIFE! I NEED XAVIER MEMORIES! GRAB THE BATON AND FEED THEM TO ME!" Assuming Smirk takes it, music notes begin to travel down the staff lines of the baton, transferring Smirk's memories of Xavier to a halo around John's head.

Meanwhile, the second baton flies at the Xavier Elem, its red staff lines expanding and creating a net around the Elemental. As the net closes around the air elemental, John calls on Adam.

"Alright Adam!" he exclaims. "Now's your cue. You do this right, and you could get two Xaviers in the main timeline! How does that sound?" John snickers a bit. "Just highlight and go. Doesn't matter if it's a lie. Just need your authority."

John clears his throat and begins.

"I am John, the only AG player to present himself on the field."
"You are Xavier Elem, an Elemental formed by Jormungandr in a shape chosen by Badam."
"Badam chose your form as an homage to Adam's right hand, Xavier, who had fought with the player Smirk in the past."
"Xavier was an associate of Adam, the self-proclaimed leader of the AG faction in the Main Timeline."
"Badam meant to bring you here as a joke."
"Adam believes you are more."
"Badam fashioned you from Adam's memories."
"This makes you more than an Elemental."
"This makes you Xavier."
"You are more than a thought."
"You are more than a puppet."
"You are unfinished."
"But we want to make you whole."
"You always served Adam faithfully."
"You were willing to go to great lengths to assist your lord."
"This is no different. All you must do is step forward and take control."
"Adam beckons you to step forward."
"He needs you to be strong."
"Together, we must fight, in order to free the Lord of Earth."

With those words, the red lines burst, and pure charge energy fills Xavier Elem. Within the Elemental, Xavier's core memories are unlocked. They rush through the airy body, fighting for control. As the red net dissipates, John reaches forward, grabbing the Elemental's hand as it recoils from the sudden shock. "Come on buddy," he says. "We need you in the band."

((Oh, right. I have one more highlight I really want to know.

"I, Adam, hate John, the Leather Jacket Guy."

Didn't quite know where to fit that in the short post. But I've gotta know.))

((OOC: All of this is the exact same as above. Just a bit more detailed. More flowery. Everything you need to know is above. Don't worry about it.))

John drifts limp in the void, gradually spinning with his arms spread wide. His face is covered in black cuts. Nothing bleeds from his skin. It trails around him, forming globs around his floating corpse. Not a breath escapes his lungs. John is still.

But something within him sings. A melody cries from his core, channeling his essence in a quiet scream. "I bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw it away. I bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw him away. I bleed it out digging deeper just to throw it away, just to throw it away, just to throw it away. I bleed it out."

As the sound murmurs within him, John's lips begin to move. They whisper the lyrics over and over. His arms begin to twitch. His ankles pivot and turn. His hair flutters in the nonexistent wind. Slowly, the sound drains from John's chest, and his heart beats once more.
"I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU JUST YET!"
John's eyes fly open. He falls to the floor of Xanadu, and black dust fluffs from beneath him. John gasps for air. He sits up, his hand on his chest. As he pants, his wounds turn red, before closing. His head twitches around, confused. John hops to his feet, regaining his bearings.

John waves to Badam, before leaping into the air. His speaker platform glides beneath his feet, and he lands with a shaking thud. He flies up into the air, high above Xanadu. He looks into the darkness and stares right in the eyes of the big, red dragon. John then promptly gives it the bird.

"YOU SUCK!" he shouts. John lowers his fingers, before continuing, "That's right! I'll do it!" He raises a finger gun, shaking with a wild look in his eyes. "Don't cross me." He lowers the gun, getting himself back under control. He then raises his other hand, unnecessarily pointing. "BUT FIRST! I need to claim my throne! And you, Salt-Breath, gave me one of Adam's em-ploy-ee's!"

Before the Red Dragon can even respond, John flies back down to Xanadu, before finally wasting his actions.

All Actions + 15 CP!: John swears he isn't suicidal with this. Really. He's not. He just can't not do this. It's in his contract. Really. King of Earth. Comes with responsibilities. Protect his own.

As John's platform flies through the streets of Xanadu, he shouts, "HEY ADAM! I know you're listening! YOU CAN'T IGNORE ME!" John laughs. "Man Adam, you haven't spoken to me once, but I already have the feeling you just hate me. Here, I'll let you start highlighting."

"I, Adam, hate John, the Leather Jacket Guy."

John chuckles some more. "Well, maybe hate is a strong word, Adam, but there's no way you like me. More to the point, though, me and you, we're the only true AG's left on the board. And I need your help for a second. Just, when I say go, start highlighting. Doesn't matter if it's true. Just highlight. It's not about being honest. It's about getting you back your old right hand."

John leaves it at that as he arrives at his destination. He steps down from his speaker platform, with two conductor's rods in hand. He grins like a mad man, facing Xavier Elem, who floats in the air before him. "Hey buddy!" John calls. "Sorry about your hands. I don't know what I'd do without mine." He spins the batons about in his hand, tapping them in the air like drumsticks. "But I'm not letting you off that easy, buddy. You've got a job to do. And I've got mine." John raises the batons up over his head, crossing them in a strangely formal X. "Can't say it's been nice knowing you, but I guess we're about to find out."

John flicks the batons in his hands, pointing their tips down at his wrists. His arms plunge downward, stabbing the two sticks into his opposing forearms. He grimaces as they penetrate his skin, digging down into his muscles and veins. Behind gritted teeth, he grunts, "I bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw it away." He pushes them further down, and red lifeforce begins to drip from his wounds. "I bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw it away." With a twist, he removes the two rods from his arms, letting blood crawl down the stained, wooden twigs. "I bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw it away." He takes a step back, rotating his body so that only one side points to Xavier Elem. "Just to throw it away." He raises the two batons, ready to fight. "Just to throw it away." And with a wind up, he lets them fly, launching them in opposite directions as red lines twirl behind them. "I bleed it out."

The first flies away from Xavier Elem, darting through the streets of Xanadu with its red staff lines twirling behind it. It searches the streets for guidance. It searches for memory. In moments, it finds its goal. The baton shoots toward @Ender_Smirk, stopping just before him, wagging its handle at the green player. As Smirk stares at the baton, he hears John's voice yell from it, "FOR PITY'S SAKE, SMIRK! HELP ME OUT FOR ONCE IN YOUR USELESS LIFE! I NEED XAVIER MEMORIES! GRAB THE BATON AND FEED THEM TO ME!"

Assuming Smirk grabs the Baton, the hanging staves connected to the baton become taut. As Smirk vaguely recounts his memories of the first Xavier, glowing red notes glide down the line. They follow the long trail like a powerline, returning to John and spinning in a halo about his head.

Meanwhile, the other baton shoots straight at Xavier. Rather than stopping, it pierces through Xavier's airy form. The red lines expand out around the Xavier Elem, creating a glowing net around him. The strings coil inward, suddenly tightening around the Elemental. Where they come into contact with him, green glows from Xavier's form. He finds himself incapable of movement as John begins speaking once more.

"Alright Adam!" he exclaims, his teeth smiling tightly as blood continues to drip from his arms. "Now's your cue. You do this right, and you could get two Xaviers in the main timeline! How does that sound?" John snickers a bit. "Just highlight and go. I promise I won't lie too hard."

As John mentions Smirk's name, the music notes that began to form around his skull begin to trace down the lines connecting to Xavier's net. They dance around the web like strange beads, pulsing softly around Xavier's head.

"Xavier was an associate of Adam, the self-proclaimed leader of the AG faction in the Main Timeline."
"Badam meant to bring you here as a joke."
"Adam believes you are more."

The lines themselves begin to glow brighter, as more notes of Xavier's self dance around the Elemental.

"Badam fashioned you from Adam's memories."
"This makes you more than an Elemental."
"This makes you Xavier."

The net coils tighter as the beads grow heavier. The music notes begin to descend inside of the Xavier Elem's form. There, they disperse, draining into the Elemental, making it whole.

"You are more than a thought."
"You are more than a puppet."
"You are unfinished."
"But we want to make you whole."

John steps forward, striding toward the Elemental as the red lines recede into his wrists. He smiles to the Elemental as its vision is blurred by memory. But it is not only Smirk's memories that it sees. The source code within the Elemental begins to see. It starts to breathe. It remembers. It fights.

"You always served Adam faithfully."
"You were willing to go to great lengths to assist your lord."
"This is no different. All you must do is step forward and take control."

The Elemental screams as Xavier wells within it.

"Adam beckons you to step forward."
"He needs you to be strong."
"Together, we must fight, in order to free the Lord of Earth."

With those words, the red lines burst, and pure charge energy fills Xavier Elem. As the net dissipates, John reaches forward, grabbing the Elemental's hand as it recoils from the sudden shock. "Come on buddy," he says. "We need you in the band." Red light shines in John's eyes, and he smiles kindly to Xavier. "We'll bleed it out. Dig it deeper, and throw that dragon away."

You see, JORMUNGANDR just punched through the planet. While he managed to pass through the Metal making up the Core, you didn't. As he reforms on the opposite side, he continues to bore a hole through Xanadu until he emerges from the other side.

Smirk's jaw drops in rage at this, and, while to someone watching time from a better angle could see Smirk have a detailed, somewhat panicked conversation with himself as he tries to figure out literally anything to do to save everyone on Xanadu right now, if one was not slowing time to an absurd degree to view it he just seems to spasm in place for half a second before seemingly centering himself.

Smirk grabs the baton, but instead of stealing the memories, John gets an exact copy of them, since Smirk does not want his memories stolen by a random dude who jumped ship to BADAM for the price of a weird sword hilt. "For the record, while it's true my effectivity has thus far been lower than I'd rather, I resent that remark!"

In any case, Smirk then quickly moves on with his plan before Jormy the big red serpent gets a chance to react. He opens a portal to a pocket dimension, his charge token and most of his remaining charge suddenly vanishing as he does so.

CP price = 30;
Universe hiddenArk = new Universe(price);
price = 0;
hiddenArk.BigBang();
hiddenArk.timeMultSet(436,000,000,000,000,000);
hiddenArk.incrementSecond();
hiddenArk.timeMultSet(1);

After running these few lines of Java based code into the fabric of reality (surprisingly enough reality's coding language is infinitely more easily generic, and less esoteric than Java. Go figure.) Smirk creates a universe large enough to house all the refugees of Xanadu, accelerates time within sufficiently for habitable planets to exist, and then decelerates it back to normal time. Then, using the remainder of his present CP, he creates an array of portals, warping all noncombatants (pretty much anyone not on the EOTB, GM's discretion for if any combatants not on the EOTB exist) to the pocket dimension universe. There they get a quick recorded message of the most irreverent joke in human history, Smirk greeting them to the new universe, and then saying "Subway, have it Yahweh" before breaking down laughing and saying "sorry, sorry, but... I literally just made a universe, I'm unlikely to ever get to make that joke again in a hurry. Had to say it."

(For the record, Smirk isn't telling anyone the ID codes to jump to that universe until JORMUNGANDR is dead, so unless DC wants it to be that way, people aren't going here until then. Also for the record, I'm aware this is the largest single waste of CP possible at this juncture from a gameplay standpoint. I do not care.)

Round 100
Given everything that's happened, I'm redoing the dop given a new story direction. Getting rid of some of the edge that happened in a darker period of my life and all.

After running off the battlefield, I make a Minecraft iron pickaxe start mining straight down.
As you dig down, the ground beneath you shifts and you fall down the shaft BRINE created as he flew through Xanadu. Soil and stone give way to molten metal. At the centre of Xanadu, you come across a solid surface of materials not even BRINE could annihilate. Slowly, you break through layers of progressively harder xenometals, each time creating new pickaxes from the previous layer. Adamantine. Guardmetal. Blackguard. Divinium.

You feel a rush of air as nanites surge out from within the core of as veins spread across its metal surface and crack it apart. A bubble of nanites rises upwards, and you find yourself pulled alongside. Reaching the surface of Xanadu, it pops, and-

Oh.

I'm so sorry.

If they did this to you without Alethea, no wonder you joined the PGs.

The Iron Prince holds up a hand. Nanites converge to form a harplike object composed of thousands of strings of varying lengths. As tendrils strum it in precise combinations, it produces sound approximating a voice.
Please fix this.

Action 1: Redirect the Sandstorm onto Past "Adam", either works

"Well... It's getting mighty annoying dealing with all of you..."

Action 2/3: Throws some Dynamite between Nikolai and Labolas, Split them up!

Entity Orders: Bounty Hunters, Change Target to Past "Adam", specifically the one that no longer has the dodge boost, make things easier for our teammates, ya know
Entities ordered.
You throw Dynamite at Nikolai and Labolas, dealing 2 damage to both of them. However, this fails to split them.
Unfortunately, their bond is too strong.
Try harder. Separate this travesty.
The Iron Prince looks over and sees the Iron Prince.

Uh. This is going to be complicated.

He(The Iron Prince) then turns over to BADAM. "You told me my son was dead. What's he doing standing over there?"
"REMEMBER MY EXACT WORDS?" BADAM laughs. "'HE'S TWENTY-ONE POINT SIX MILLION FEET UNDER.' AND NOW HE'S NOT!"

Powie! Your bullet deals 15 damage to Nikolai.
Make him pay.

  • [0x] The following will be a series of questions which will allow Adam to communicate anything he would like to communicate up to a character limit of 300 characters and then to communicate any insight he has into the tenets (particularly the Tetris and Virdescent) within 300 more characters. I just ask him what letter he would say one letter at a time. the overwhelming majority component here is "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz." repeated 600 times. just like last time, skip actually reading it.
    im not retyping this

[3x] I store 3 CP! which is impossible, therefore dreams!

Thank you.

PAST(Future JOE):
Invoking the Tetris through a proxy, you acquire information and send pieces of yourself to those three locations!
Adam highlights the following statement:
Earth was destroyed by brine before the point in time where I'm fighting him.
Earth was destroyed by Brine after this point.
The Pastry and Rock items I'm thinking of are intact as I ask this question.

You also use Charge and Magic to increase your barriers!
((I'm not sure where you're getting 24 Charge and 12 Magic HP but I'm just going to boost stuff anyways.))

PAST(Past JOE):
((I'm just going to end this trip to the past right now actually. Hopefully you like what I wrote for this finisher.))

Your past and future selves tap into the shared power of the Terminae, ensuring none of them have any stake in your mind at all. Still, you feel them in your mind. Their desires, their pressures.
Za Warudo! Kugi ni naru!( The World ! Become A Nail!)
As one with your universe, the x2 ComJOEbob fusion impales the Red Dragon with lances of crystallized spatial distortions. Stuck in place, you slowly rip BRINE apart. Taking back what was destroyed piece by piece.

The dust settles. The Red Dragon is gone.

Another tear opens. And another. And another. The sky fills with scars, each bringing another Red Dragon. A laugh, from back at the Templar Castle. The Miner is glowing.
"HIP HIP HURRAY, I REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT YOU TO GIVE JORMUNGANDR A RUN FOR HIS MONEY," says the Not-Miner. "YOU WERE STRONGER THAN HE EXPECTED, BUT HE'S STILL SO MUCH STRONGER. DON'T TELL ME YOU THOUGHT HE COULD DESTROY EVERYTHING WITH JUST ONE BODY. STILL, YOU DESERVE A LITTLE SPOILER. ENJOY HIS FULL MIGHT BEFORE ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS!"

...Red Dragons. Red Dragons as far as the eye can see. Infinitely tall. Infinitely long. Infinitely wide. They fill your senses, and events proceed as they always did.

...

ALAN: Your guess as to who Alethea killed or incapacitated was a Descended.
ALAN: Your guess is somebody the AG Descendants have met.
ALAN: Your guess is somebody they have not met but have heard of.

ALAN: You made a deal with Badam to help fight the Combine.
ALAN: You made a deal with Badam to survive a situation in which you would have otherwise died.
ALAN: Badam has in some sense been inside you all this time.
ALAN: Badam was not inside you before Nedben's action.
ALAN: Badam was in some sense both inside and outside you before Nedben's action.

ALAN: All the AESIR are alive in the non-gold timeline.
ALAN: The Viridescent is connected to the nature of the elemental planes somehow.
ALAN: You know who ODIN is.
ALAN: You know who KVASIR is.

ALAN: You know who LOKI is.
ALAN: You know who NJORD is.
ALAN: You know who SURTR is.
Okay, if we're going to both use the same title, we need to distinguish between me and him. Could you just use my name instead?
Oh. Are you sure about this?
Yeah, the title game's starting to get old. Given everything that's happened, does it really matter anymore?
Alright then... Simeon.
...Right! The battle!

Infusing Xanadu with Order, you bring forth avatars of the planet to fulfill it's original purpose. These beings take the form of miniature cruisers armed with spinal cannons.

[AG] Paradox Crusader. 30,000 Hp.
Deus Vult: 25,000 Order. Successive uses of Deus Vult on the same target deals +5,000 Damage per hit.

Simeon breathes sharply. Immediately, chains burst from the ground and wrap around the Paradox Crusaders, forcibly grounding them.
I watched these ships clear populations. Xanadu was built cleanse Paradox Space and erase Adam's mistakes.
Clenching his fist, he reshapes the Paradox Crusaders into turrets and relaxes.
There. Now they can only be used for defense. I'm going to be okay. Xanadu is mine now.
Nikolai's armor oxidizes, peeling off a layer of iron to reveal a different metal underneath. It's not even a metal, just a strong material that's immune to rusting.

Adam confirms the following statements:

Your guess as to who Alethea killed or incapacitated was a Descended.
Your guess is somebody they have not met but have heard of.

You made a deal with Badam to help fight the Combine.
Badam was in some sense both inside and outside you before Nedben's action.

The Viridescent is connected to the nature of the elemental planes somehow.

-Snipped, see Original Post-
You attempt to gain Xavier Elem? On your side.

Adam refuses to lie. The sections he does highlight however are:

As Xavier fills with charge energy, his body begins to solidify, transforming from Eidokinetic Air into human flesh.
YOU WOULD TAKE ONE OF MY SUBJECTS? XAVIER IS MINE.

BRINE inhales, sucking out the parts of Xavier that were Eidokinetic. You are left with his hand and some assorted other pieces, the only parts your Descendancy was able to overcome BRINE's control over.
...
Check his palm. Xavier's good with hands.
...Sure enough, Xavier's hand had a button on his palm. As you press it, his hand transforms into a large, explosive-filled rocket-powered fist for you to control.
Make him proud.

CP price = 30;
Universe hiddenArk = new Universe(price);
price = 0;
hiddenArk.BigBang();
hiddenArk.timeMultSet(436,000,000,000,000,000);
hiddenArk.incrementSecond();
hiddenArk.timeMultSet(1);

Using all of your charge, you evacuate every noncombatant to your New Baby Universe, but as you send it to your pocket dimension, you find it gone. Thanks to BRINE, there's only one space now. Which means... it's just sitting on the battlefield.

NEW OBJECTIVE: PROTECT THE BABY UNIVERSE.

I don't know who that Kslera person was, but rip them dying.

Meanwhile Kslerà, whose name has yet to be fixed in the EOTB and whose max Charge got lowered for some reason in the dop despite them not having been killed, is in a bit of a confusing location right now. It attempted to slither through hyperspace into Nikolai, but had the brunt of that blocked by Leraje.
So it was inside Leraje rather than Nikolai, right? Except that it still managed to digest some of Nikolai so that can't be it either! But Leraje also took damage??
So who is Kslerà inside of and digesting? Leraje? Nikolai? Like many things with Kslerà, the answer is ambiguous and somehow violent.
As a result of ambiguously defined space, Kslerà is simultaneously inside of Leraje and Nikolai now, which causes havoc on both of their insides when Kslerà wriggles and writhes in the prelude to its next feasting...

As you begin to dig down, the ground beneath you shifts, sending you sliding into the hole BRINE created through Xanadu. Landing on the surface of the Core, you begin your dig from there. With your pick, you dig down through layer upon layer of progressively harder xenometals: Adamantine, Guardmetal, Blackguard, Divinium.

Breaking through the final layer of metal, you find yourself obstructed by soil, flowers, and then a dead body. Pushing it out of the way, you start falling through a web of crimson-red spectral chains. Emerging from the inner surface of the core, they wrap around a central point. A central point you are now constantly falling towards.

More chains emerge from above you. As they make contact, you feel a force pulling you from that direction, cancelling out your fall, leaving you floating within the core.

BRINE's passing is evident. Cubes of Elemental energy float suspended in the air. Save for two dragon-shaped holes, Golden Asters line the inner surface. They grow over hundreds, if not thousands of bodies. All of them Descended.

The chains wrap around a body floating in the center. More accurately, they suspend a body in the centre. A body that's still alive.

The only reason this timeline has lasted until now. The one who took command of Xanadu and tried to save people with it.
Am I right, ██████?

Nanites flow through the hole you tore into the core. Beautiful lies are replaced with ugly truths.

I CAN REMEMBER FOUR YEARS OF TORTURE
TO SEE YOU FREE HERE
MAKES IT ALMOST WORTH IT
ALMOST

… "Yeah, I don't know what the fuck's going here." I say to myself, reviewing the little amounts I had gleaned. So apparently this is place Xanadu is a timeline. Which will be destroyed soon and we need to kill this BADAM, BRINE and Nikolai.

I look up at the hole I made, these nanites, they were probably controlled by that dude in the chains. If he's the guy who controls Xanadu maybe he knows more about what the hells going on? But that four year torture thing sounds pretty ominous.

I sigh and lazily start approaching the body without a care or worry. Pickaxe slung over my shoulder. No point in dilly-dallying about hypotheticals, if he attacks, he attacks and I kill him, if he doesn't I get information, probably.

"Sooooo, can you repeat your name again? I didn't quite catch that."
