>We are a nation of killers, of soldiers, of outcasts and rebels, and of those who just don't belong
>But we are not a nation devoid of morals or of principles
>The world from which we come, the world in which we belong, and the world in which we find meaning is not a peaceful place.
>It is cruel and violent, and it is no place in which others should live. We will never leave that world, that's just not an option for people like us.
>But I would like to think that those who come here are more than happy to try another way for a little while
>So here is a place to rest for a while, for those who need to escape for a little bit, for those who need help, or friends, or maybe kind word, or a strong drink
>So if you've got the guts, or if you've got the cash, and either the moral high ground or a really really convincing sob story
>Then hey, pull up a seat. We might be able to help each other out.
I like this a lot! I think it's worth being more explicit about the fact that we'll welcome anyone who's after a stable place (as backed by our mercenary might) to build a life, and not just mercs looking for somewhere to operate out of. That aside, very well written.
