[X] [Gov] Some Default Power. The Northern Alliance will have some power over its member states on its own.
[X] [Law] Shared Legal Code. The Northern Alliance member states will use the same legal code, based off of the Arthwyd legal code.
[X] [Religion] Shared Religious Stance. The Northern Alliance member states will have a shared religious stance that all of its religions will adhere to.
[X] [Diplo] Single Foreign Policy. The member states of the Northern Alliance will stand united behind a single foreign policy determined by the Northern Alliance.
[X] [North] Let them join as a confederation. Unite the northern lowlander tribes via diplomatic or military means into a confederation that will join the Northern Alliance as a member state.

Also, as the new "Northern Alliance" (and having seen the Forlucian Palace) I think there's a good chance of having the Palace Megaproject unlocked for us now - perhaps even a newly upgraded version.

Also, there's precedent with that one girl to give the blood of the royal family to others so there's a chance of merging all the royal families into one massive group.

I fear that total push for giving maximum integration will cause the Forluc to back down.

They can't and anyway, they don't dislike the Urthdysh proposal enough to back down from this. They would prefer their way of doing it, but the Forluc want this regardless of how it turns out.

Further, I'm uncertain on how Shared Religious Stance will trigger when we have a Goddess/es that hate using UD, while the Urthdysh are all about the undead.
@Oshha Are there any solutions/arguments for how that would be solved?

It won't be a problem. You won't have more conflict than what you already got.

@Oshha What ends Epic Ages?
Since we have so many long-living or immortal heroes up, I feel this one might continue for a while if it's just the number of heroes being above certain threshold?

Ok, going for a considered allocation of choices here. Bumrushing maximum unity is not a good idea. This is not a matter of "pick how good you want things to be." We need to be smart about our decisions. Just because we can pick the most unifying options with our heroes doesn't mean we should.

Firstly, giving the nations power over each other's religions is just a plain bad idea. It'll be fine for now but eventually it will cause major problems as you have people from one area of the world trying to force their views on another area of the world. Let the various states have religious autonomy so that all the religions can develop and influence each other freely, peacefully, and naturally. It is not something we should try to force. Getting everyone to go along with the same religious stance probably wouldn't be that beneficial anyway.

On the other hand, enforcing a same or similar law is a much simpler thing to do, and also very beneficial. However, I don't think that having the same legal code is the best thing to do. The three states each have different societies, geographies, needs, wants, and challenges, and they all need different legal codes to cover them. Giving them the freedom to make necessary changes would be good. It would also prevent the law from stagnating. If a state wants to enact good laws, they will not be able to do so unless all the other ones agree, which as society calcifies simply will not happen except in the most dire of situations. If they're merely similar, however, a state can develop new laws as necessary and beneficial. If they prove to be bad laws, they'll get left behind. If they prove to be good laws, they'll get adopted by the other states.

A single foreign policy is an absolute necessity. There is so much that can go wrong with the states being bound by alliance but also being able to treat their neighbours however they individually please.

And finally, the power of the alliance's government. I don't like the restrictions on megaprojects and trade agreements, but the alliance does need the ability to mobilise or curtail its military forces as needed.

It will be when the majority of heroes are dead, when the Epic Age has gone on too longer or when I feel it is narratively appropriate.

I'm not sure that unifying the religions practices via politics is going to end well with the All-Boar

Hmmm
Actually, can our economy handle an annexation of the implicated size without imploding, considering our newest status effect already affecting our economy?
